    I think that "tree light" absolutely helped in creating depth in the image. It also added more color temperature contrast - cold outside, warm inside. Keep up the good work.

    Yo I love this! There is actually one thing I think could possibly add to the lighting of the scene - An edge light to separate you the actor (you, Brady) from the window a bit and add a little bit of the edge light to the other actor. Either way I love the look of this scene and it came in clutch for something I'm going to be shooting!

      It’s around 2000! On the candle mode it fluctuates

    What other light can I replace the nova with to do the candle light effect. I can’t afford the nova right now. I have four 120d’s, 300d’s, 300c, mc 4 and B7 c 8 light production kit.
    I’m filming a crime investigation interview type scene. I’m doing the exact setup except I don’t have the nova. What’s your suggestion to replace the nova?

    The aputure light is casting unidirectional shadows making the lighting kinda sourcey.. you'd be better off using a lite mat just below the camera or lighting from both directions since you have candles all over.. my 2 cents...

    You flagged the nova with the table to control the spill, but then by adding diffusion outside of the table, you're again allowing the nova to spill all over the place again no?
