Boating has come a long way since the first cuddy cabin cruisers of the 1970's. Back then an air matress over unfinished marine plywood was the sum total of amenities in those boats. Fun and fast AND we didn't know any better.
Fifty years on and I'll take this cuddy over ALL the 70's models en total.

The true name of the boat is in the clues of name you said . . .its code words when re arainge and a certain math calculation it means . . Pipe Dreams . . . . . Using my wage in said calculation . . 🤣

That is a very nice yacht for its size, nice finishes and spacious enough for a day / weekend, the engine room is very spacious for the size of the boat. Nice tour Nick thank you.

I don’t think you should buy this boat if you’re not a millionaire.
300k£ for a 28ft boat is pretty expensive. You could get a Saxdor 400 for almost as much.
I could see myself running around Lake Ontario in that little beauty.
Love the 1980's Black Ash helm position. Had a bedroom set in the Black Ash back then. Nice little day cruiser.
My first office had black ash desks and bright red chairs back in the eighties, fabulous!

I've always wondered what you get for the basic price? The price of 199,000 and the model on display is only 100,000 thousand more, as if that extravagance is nothing, crazy times.

What an attractive looking boat, I noticed this in your tour of the Piper12C and was hoping you'd show us this one. Seems like there is more under-floor storage between the cabin area and engine compartment that you didn't really open and see, but I would guess there's plenty more space for toys and stuff.

I had a cuddy a few years back. They are a lot of fun. The only weak spot is the head. Always a bit too little. But great for people out for some speed. Nice presentation.

Nice, clean stylish line, nice décor. Not a big boat so a short tour. But she does what it says on the tin. Personally myself I'd like a small galley sink combo microwave. Small fridge somewhere on the boat. I just think its useful to have.

Like the sensible step to the foredeck, the caddy’s good too, nice finish but….a steep price non the less.
Very nice design detailing, quite a luxurious appearance but I prefer boats with some enclosure to be more yacht like. Even though it is only 28 feet I think they could pull off an enclosed version for some broader yacht appeal.

A nicely finished boat of its type. Am I the only one who thought "why can't all engine hatches be that quiet?"
The engine compartment had a ton of room.
I think that is a very attractive, sociable boat. You could have some good conversations on that.
twin v6s sound good but if you wanted to I bet you could do twin v8s. shoe horn them in.

Question, did you change cameras or zoom or something. Because the last few videos seem like they are zoomed in, and we'er not seeing the whole areas , kind of zoomed in. SO everything looks close up and claustrophobic lol.. I swear it's not ME. the videos are different now. i'm pretty sure. ~ T
You know if they went with diesel outboards, through in a design Genset. Enclosed it better they could have heat, a/c, small galley with 2 burn electric stove and microwave oven combo. But who am I to recommend.

If it’s just to be a day boat I’d ditch the cabin but keep access to a head but turn the foredeck into a sunken seating area. Love the colour but £20k? Great video Nick. Can just see you in this.

Kind of incredible paying 292.000 GBP and not even having a cooking facility, and just sleeping for two, no bed under the cockpit which is kind of standard on these types.

Choked on my bilge pump, from £199k, this one is £292k but doesn’t have the galley or Hilo and only single engine, wow
If they break down the costs,the mark up must be huge.
Same size as your smugglers and my leader 8, yet nowhere near as accommodating or practical… and more than 3 times the price.
