Nick, the pain and sadness that washed across your face when you told us the news was moving. Remember to take what pleasures and comforts you can out there. Lord knows that a half million or so loyal disciples of the Adventures of the Smuggler's Blues and her Intrepid Skipper are all wishing you both health and happiness. Tempus Fugit, my friend. Time and Tide, and all that. Time to get on with things as best we can. That being that, if you'd like an anonymous and well-meaning ear to vent towards, mine is on offer.
Sorry to hear about Marianne, it’s always difficult going through things like that no matter what happened. Hang in there Nick and stay positive!! You never know what’s just around the corner. The boat looks great as always. Take care bud….
Thanks for the details in the video. I hope the time out of water goes well. I feel for you and marrianne. My wife and I loved seeing you two interact. I could see the pain in you face as you talked about her . My wife and I have chosen to live separate lives as well for the past year. We were both saddened by the news when marrianne brought it up on her you tube channel. We were both sad when she stopped her channel and I hope you will be able to carry on with yours. My wife and I still love each other but can't seem to live with each other. We still spend time together as well. I hope you and marrianne can find what brought you to togerther just as I hope for the same thing. I can't wait to see you and smugglers again or any other walk abouts etc
Nick I’ve been watching your videos for years. You’ve given so much to this channel. I’m sure everybody is here for you in your time of need. You’re a true gentleman and i wish you all the best. Thank you for all of the amazing videos.

What can you say, it's obvious that you are still in pain over the separation and I hope it gets better for you. On a happier note it is nice to see Smugglers out for a freshen up and looking forward to the relaunch. Thanks for the up date Nick and all the best for the future.
I was a boat hater until, late one night after work I watched a yacht tour of yours on some late night infomercial channel. At first, I thought that the show was kind of dump. Well, until I listened to how passionate you were when discussing the tour. This had to have been 5 years ago, and ever since I've been a fan. I truly appreciate the tours and joy you've given me over the years. It hurts to hear that you're going through turmoil. Still, you're grinding and giving us more content. So it’s to you I would say I hope all goes well for you, thank you for the boating stuff you give us, I have enjoyed it over the years. Aww mate. I've been watching your channel for years. I'm so sorry for you both. I went through the same thing a couple of years back but still get on with ex missus. Thankfully for the sake of our kids, we're both happier now. Hopefully you and Marianne are too XX

We love you in Australia Nick as does the rest of the world. Your humility, care and love of the world remains strong in this video. The meaning of life is to be able to deal with pain and loss and boating sure helps that so keep it up!
Good morning Nick; it's good to see "Smuggler's Blues" again. I half expected you to be thinking about a new boat by now. As for the Marianne thing; life changes, and we all change with it. I imagine you're both content with your lives; so carry on carrying on. A nice, relaxing video today.
Can’t be easy sharing such sad news on a public platform so hats off to you. We’re here for you though and your infectious enthusiasm of all things boating, so look forward to everything that is to come on Aquaholic!
Everything happens for a reason, we might not like it but we must learn to expect it because it's ment to be that way.i never seen a boat being lifted out of the water and that trailer is amazing the amount of thought that went into the design is crazy good. I love that trailer, sadly more than I do your boat. Just being honest buddy, I am so thankful for you making this video for us who never seen this part of boat ownership before. I sold my boat few years ago at the right time. I only had to back my trailer into the water and hook up the bow hook then drive it up out of the water and strap it down from moving while I drove it home. Now today im in a wheelchair and I want to get back on the water but can't get out there unless i stay close to my doctor. Like you said, as long as we have our health we still have hope. I have bad health but i still have alot of hope. Share the love and tell those you love how much you truly do love them because tomorrow is not promised to us. We could go to heaven before morning so never go to bed mad at anyone. God bless us All.
Sorry you have to go through this situation. Currently going through the same thing. It’s tough when you’ve been together for a while and that feeling of emptiness floods your mind, when nothing seems worth bothering about anymore without that partner by your side. But life goes on and better to focus on yourself and good friends and work. Time is a great healer. Don’t look back. Onwards.
Not sure what you meant there about last September but sounds like you and Marianne have parted ways respectfully. Been a subscriber since the early days (and also see your little quips on twitter...SO😂) Keep up the good work buddy, life has a funny way of playing out.

@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
Thank you Nick, yes, she was good fun and I hope she’s in good health still. I would not have known anything of her had it not been for you and this channel, and all of your efforts. So it’s to you I would say I hope all goes well for you, thank you for the boating stuff you give us, I have enjoyed it over the years. You’re a good man Nick, I can’t see you being a solo sailor for too long. Thank you.
It's no easy thing to share, but thank you for the heads up !
This is why we all love your channel !
Your a good guy !
😊
Thanks for another great video showing the 'joys' of owning a boat. Hope to see you back out on the water next season.
I agree Nick. I’ve seen a haul out many times. Still interesting.
I was curious where Marianne was, but didn’t want to intrude. Thanks for sharing.
Aww mate. I've been watching your channel for years. I'm so sorry for you both. I went through the same thing a couple of years back but still get on with ex missus. Thankfully for the sake of our kids, we're both happier now. Hopefully you and Marianne are too XX
Here’s to next season and sunny times ahoy. Sorry to hear about your ship mate Nick.
Thank you
I have been away from TH-cam for about 5/6 months and this was my first video back. You’re a gentleman and you never know what’s around the next Bhoy. Take care sir
Chin up Mr.Nick.One day at a time.🇨🇦
We love you in Australia Nick as does the rest of the world. Your humility, care and love of the world remains strong in this video. The meaning of life is to be able to deal with pain and loss and boating sure helps that so keep it up!
I really appreciate that, thank you. 🙂
You're very kind, thank you 🙂
Sorry to hear the news, best wishes to you.
So sorry Nick. Best wishes for a brighter future soon!
Chin up Nick you’ll be okay. Stay strong and keep up the good work!
I'm sorry to hear that.
Good afternoon Nick, Nice to see Smugglers again
Good afternoon Michael
I would also like to add my sincere condolences to you and Marianne and hope you can and will remain friends@@AQUAHOLIC
Thank you, it's appreciated. 🙂
Nick, so sorry to hear your bad news. Here is hoping that 2024 turns out brighter for you. You have LOTS of friends - even if you haven’t met them all.
Thanks for the personal update. You’re a gentleman always. Chin up, life goes on. Best to you both.
*Everyone - if you’re wondering how you can show the man a little gratitude, or do something for him …make sure you click LIKE on this video and hopefully put a little jingle in Nick’s pocket!*
As a matter fact, take a moment and go back to all of the videos, you’ve watched and hit that like button!
Bless you Nick
Thank you
Nick, things good will come your way, we let go, we move on, we drop anchor, we start anew. Take care.
