Instead of picking the pokemon with the higher attack stat and doubling it with swagger, its probably better to pick the pokemon with the higher attack betwen the ones with Anger point (crabominable) or Justified (absol/terrakion if mega-gallade is not available) and maxing its attack with Frost breath/Storm throw or Beat up respectively, and then switching it for Pure power.
I think you're right. Focus Punch Crabominable at +6 vs level 1 A-Rattata with all the same standards I believe is more. I'm not doing the math and unfortunately, the calcs on showdown account for damage rollover, which both combos do so they don't actually show the full damage lol

Not sure how much damage it does, but it should be a lot
I'm genuinely curious weather spread moves make a difference? Dealing 4x super effective damage to two pokemon even if the base power of the move is reduced?
It would make a small difference. Moves that deal damage to both opponents receive a multiplier of x0.75, so, technically, my calculation in the first section is wrong because I didn't know Glacial Lance hit both opponents in Doubles.
The Critical Hit, boost from Helping Hand, and x2 Tera STAB are all included in the final number. Having both +6 Attack and -6 Defense is impossible in a scenario where we only have ONE TURN to deal damage.

Wouldn't getting hit by a damaging move make Crabominable lose focus and unable to hit Focus Punch? I do think you're onto something.

You might be able to do more in a triple battle

3. +6 Attack on your pokemon
4. -6 defense on the opponent
5. Terastal boost
