I'm Android all the way (own a Pixel 4a) and while I do agree that the Iphone 12 photos look amazingly better in most cases you're also paying close to or over 1,000 bucks for the Iphone 12 (which gets you a professional camera) rather than 450 for the Pixel 5a and you're still getting great photos... Really good comparison video guys! Me personally I actually love the overshapening of the Pixel software processing.
Daytime: Pixel. Night time: iPhone. iPhone's signature blown out highlights are disgusting though, along with the overexposure on human faces! Pixel's details are tremendous.
Lets see what happens with the Pixel 6, probably the Pro model, vs the newest iPhone, also probably the pro model. The tensor processor, and new hardware, along with the google software should give Apple a run for their money. Even with video. Can't weight for those comparisons. Either way, the mid range Pixel 5a, with older camera technology, didn't go down without a fight.
Damn the fact that they even compare the cameras of a mid range phone to a flagship phone just goes to show how well pixel phone's camera quality have hold up over the years
In general, it was clear that the iPhone turns a little yellow, the pixels also record a slightly darker image. This issue can be seen in all the photos .... In general, in my opinion, the pixel wins♥️🤍
Pixel camera has "selfie illumination" with just a tap in the preferences, you should do again the last ridiculous photo with the feature turned on, like on the iphone, just for fairness
Looking at what Google achieved with old sensor in Pixel 5A I am impatient to see what Pixel 6 (Pro) would offer. I guess it would be unchallenged in terms of quality in smartphone industry.
Small tip next time put the reaction shots of the people in a small box on the side or the bottom the viewers gets to see the photo samples longer than 3 seconds
They compare them because viewers want to see the video, and because the Pixel 5A just came out and potential customers want a point of reference to compare to. You can 100% bet that when the iPhone 13 / 13 Pro comes out, there will be another comparison. And when the Pixel 6 / 6 Pro comes out, another comparison. This channel is biased no matter what lol
Agreed, Apple should sponsor them XD
I like how people used to *complain about the extra brightness & saturation* in Samsung's photos until Apple started doing the same this time around.
Now they mute..
Hypocrites everywhere
Yeah I know it's annoying
I had 13-12 in favour of the Pixel. But I chose some of the iPhone’a clearer pictures because the Pixel’a were sometimes dark. But that’s something that can be fixed in editing. This was a really nice comparison.
Bruh I tough max and vadim were the same person lmao
Fr me too
Me too hhhh
SAME, Vadim kinda looks like Max after a shave
@@kyejt-r yeah lol
I'm Android all the way (own a Pixel 4a) and while I do agree that the Iphone 12 photos look amazingly better in most cases you're also paying close to or over 1,000 bucks for the Iphone 12 (which gets you a professional camera) rather than 450 for the Pixel 5a and you're still getting great photos... Really good comparison video guys! Me personally I actually love the overshapening of the Pixel software processing.
Please compare the 5A5G to the 4A5G. I have the latter and I think it takes better photos. What do you think?
I have the 4a 5g too. I always get comments from friends about the quality of the photos. I would like to see that comparison too.
The 4a is probs better because they removed the laser autofocus
Next time, maybe try " Selfie Illumination " function for Pixel phones. It's the feature you mentioned that was on the iPhone.
💯 I thought of the same thing
You must use Pixel's HDR mode, it's so brilliant
My favorite tech channel! You guys are standing out from the crowd. Keep it up!
Люблю вас ❤️
Totally agreed! На сто процентов
Damn the fact that they even compare the cameras of a mid range phone to a flagship phone just goes to show how well pixel phone's camera quality have hold up over the years
I couldn't stop staring at Angelika. She is absolutely beautiful!
Absolutely
In general, it was clear that the iPhone turns a little yellow, the pixels also record a slightly darker image. This issue can be seen in all the photos .... In general, in my opinion, the pixel wins♥️🤍
You do realise it’s the same flagship camera and software 😅
Wow epic video, seeing all the presenters of the channel together is just nice! great video and cool comparison 🔝 keep going
Removing the laser autofocus on the Pixel 5A seems to be a bad move for the portrait shots.
It is not laser autofocus which is removed. It is flicker sensor. Laser autofocus was rempved since pixel 3

Love from India
The day time skin tones on the Pixel look horrendous, and I wouldn't expect an update to fix it. ☹️
Pixel camera has "selfie illumination" with just a tap in the preferences, you should do again the last ridiculous photo with the feature turned on, like on the iphone, just for fairness
lol that shit is so funny, they are all Apple fans. They know iphone is brightest so they choose that. Rigged.
Looking at what Google achieved with old sensor in Pixel 5A I am impatient to see what Pixel 6 (Pro) would offer. I guess it would be unchallenged in terms of quality in smartphone industry.
I think ..in good light Google pixel 3 has better colors , than pixel 5 series
Small tip next time put the reaction shots of the people in a small box on the side or the bottom the viewers gets to see the photo samples longer than 3 seconds
having used pixels for so long, i knew exactly which was which, theres something about the pixels pictures that kinda seperates em from the others.
Why would you compare these 2 phone? Isn’t the camera the same between the pixel 5 and 5a?
Yea so what’s your point?
They compare them because viewers want to see the video, and because the Pixel 5A just came out and potential customers want a point of reference to compare to.
You can 100% bet that when the iPhone 13 / 13 Pro comes out, there will be another comparison. And when the Pixel 6 / 6 Pro comes out, another comparison. It's just the nature of the tech review cycle to compare newly launched products
More reason to compare pixel 5 and 12 are similar prices
I phone 12: scored 19
Pixel 5A: scored... umm... 6
Of course ITS IPHONE MORE MONEY
They had choice to disappoint the rich by being honest or have all apple fan boys on their side. Guess what they choose option 2
I didn't find them to be very different. The one in white looks a bit younger
Bro pixel have a midrange chip so its kinda unfair right?
theres no way the pixel took a red photo in the dark
I’m not used to seeing all of you at once!!
Next: UNBIASED comparison between Max and Vadim
Hey guys, I really love your videos❤️... what's your camera setup do you use and what program do you use to colour correct?
Love these photo comparisons. Thanks, guys
I am using Linux Desktop primarily for programming, while also have been testing macOS in VM, enjoying watching TH-cam videos about M1 MacBooks and I would love to get my hands on Macbook 14 :), Unix, Optimised OS, Boosted ARM chip, Great battery; Unrivaled Laptop for programming,
I swear to god, sometimes I dont know how people take photos... I've never had my iPhone taking photos that bad
They just look at something and click? What else do you want them to do, it's just a comparison
I guess I will choose pixel 5a in book iphone photos are better but iphone 12 is $799 but pixel is just $450
For that $450 price I think pixel 5a is doing a great job
And I am not a fan of apple's wall garden ecosystem and I love android
