Yeah. I laughed when that was brought up as a 'negative'. The only real negatives I see are food space and having to stack food may hinder food quality. What air fryer did you end up with? If you did get a Ninja, how has it been and does it cook ok even if you fill the bin?
I bought one and used it for the first time today i like it. Live on my own and has plenty of space for me. Amazon did an offer on it. Might be still on
the Ninja AF100 or AF101 might not be the model for a larger family (3 or more) Consider the Cosori 5.8 quart or the Ninja Dual basket air fryer model.
Changed my life this! I can pop in a raw chicken breast without heating the airfryer up first and its cooked tender in 10-15 minutes. Compare that to my oven, has to warm up first, etc, this is so convenient and quick. Here's a great quick recipe for anyone thinking of purchasing one. Get cauliflower and broccoli, very light coat in cooking oil of your choice (I use rapeseed oil) and air fry for ten minutes occasionally opening and tossing the contents. Delicious!
@@AnonAnonAnon There are much healthier oils to use than rapeseed. In fact it's pretty bottom of the barrel. Rapeseed/canola is an industrial lubricant someone decided to pawn off as "food". A lot of people still believe the government's obsolete nutrition guidelines that suggest it's a healthy form of fat but this is not scientifically supported. Depending on cooking temperature, better oils for air frying would include coconut/MCT oil, ghee/butter, avocado oil, sometimes refined olive oil. Even then it's best to apply them sparingly during cooking and then add however much you want after cooking is finished.
Thanks for this review! Hearing the "bad" list being such little things was actually really helpful - very glad to hear there's nothing seriously wrong with it
I notice the plug has one blade wider and I googled this as the follow: “It is a minor safety enhancement. Since the 1950's power outlets in the US are made with one slot wider than the other. This means the plug can only fit in the socket one way, with the wide blade in the wide slot. The wide slot is supposed to be connected to neutral (which is tied to ground) and has zero volts.”
Neutral is grounded, but that is not the same as ground. Which is why there is a Ground wire to begin with. It is a safety mechanism. The reason we bond all normally non-current carrying conductive parts back to the source (through the ground wire) is so we have a closed circuit when the hot wire touches something it's not supposed to. Since the ground-fault current path has inherently much higher resistance than the neutral wire, the amount of current flowing through the circuit jumps enormously during a ground-fault. The circuit breaker in the panel is designed such that it will open when more current passes through it than it is designed to allow (and is actually designed to open faster the higher the current is). So the ground wire is there as a safety mechanism which allows the circuit breaker to operate as it is supposed to.
I had 1 air fryer before this one and it had problems with food sticking to the tray. It was supposed to be non stick but it wasn't. When I read that Ninja has a ceramic easy to clean tray I had to get it. I love my air fryer! I think it's one of the best Air fryers out there. You can tell there is a difference in quality. Food does not get burnt and stuck on to the tray or the basket. You just easily wipe everything off. I even hand wash the tray and basket because it's so easy.

The good well outweigh the bad in this model. The biggest Pro is the Ceramic basket. Your Range, your Microwave, your Toaster Oven are all rectangle appliances. These are not personal concerns, I'm simply pointing out Cons, so that people who care about those things (and many do not) can make an informed decision. Instead of what you see prevelant on TH-cam these says which are basically Commercials for the Product. The sticker is not about the sticker, its about the lack of presets that are standard in nearly every model in that price range.

Or what are cooking times like. That I don't recall was even mentioned in this review.
@@DaveH16017 Good points. Like assessing different Ovens or different Microwaves. So for example Microwaves you actually end up choosing style or aestetics, you don't ask how a microwave cooks. Good review however you missed one point: when the basket is pulled out during operation the machine still continues to operate and we need to manually press the pause button. In few other fryers the machine automatically pauses if basket is pulled out and restarts once basket is inserted

I have the Ninja AF101. It is only my wife and I, so it is enough. I've tried cooking in the popular Cosori 5.8qt model that my bro n law has. Granted you have much more room in the cooking basket. However I find the crispness is not quite the same of food coming out of the Cosori vs the AF101. Factoring same cooking temps and same cooking times. I find the Cosori 5.8 needs a bit more time when cooking foods like air fried chicken, not much extra time mind you. Likely due to the way the air convection is in the Cosori 5.8 vs the Ninja AF101. Down the road, my wife and I may consider the Cosori 5.8 for more cooking area real estate or the Ninja® Foodi™ 8 in 1 Digital Air Fry Oven SP101C, or the Ninja Foodi dual basket model (But that does have a larger physical than our AF101)

I just one and this is the BEST one on the market!! Probably video made by competing company. BUY A NINJA!!
I'm just a normal person like anyone else, not some competing company. There are always PROS and CONS to every product.
I would say the Ninja AF100 series is the best for Air Fried chicken wings and for 2 people households..more than 2 ppl then maybe consider a larger air fryer model like the Cosori 5.8 qt
@@PoolarityChannel A "normal person" who is making $$ from submitting videos on You Tube! I see no CONS he has spoke of. A year later and it's still TOP with me. It IS non-stick, the handle is NOT a fingerprint magnet, sheeesh! This video is a waste of tiem, this is a TOP product!
My ninja kicks butt , I can make a whole chicken with potatoes and carrots in an hour
In this model? Awesome! I just bought it.
Wow the sticker
Hey man, some things are just a deal breaker :-). Actually it was really really tough to find negatives. But what the sticker really means is that there's no presets.
take a photo of the sticker always on your phone
Dude how can you sanely put this out to TH-cam as a review video ffs!!!!
Because TH-cam needs less professional Commercial reviewers and real feedback. To not be a Cheerleader for everything, but to put some criticism that 1/2 the people may find useful and 1/2 will not.
@@PoolarityChannel this video has no useful information on it whatsoever how deluded are you?!!
This thing have nothing bad to make a video of it
😂😂 I love mine .. please buy it . He clearly has OCD !
you were bad with geometry back in school right? Tip: try different layout
You know it? Remember the toy with the circle, square, triangle...still trying to master that since 2 yrs old
Great review! Have Gourmia (square) for home. Agree round loses real estate. Was looking for smaller one for RV but if overall dimensions close, may stick with Gourmia. I DO like BOTH have SINGLE basket with crisper tray. I know ppl whose button that connects 2 baskets is CHEAP PLASTIC + fallen off
This is sooo funny & the comments 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Stopped listening after the first "bad" thing. What a dumb thing to even bring up. Oh no, the sticker doesn't look nice!!
this guy will complain about anything hate to be his neighbor ....they breathe next door and that might be a bad thing
Good luck buying your SQUARE pot and pans. LOL You do NOT like your "fingerprint" on CHROME HANDLES? LOL.
The worst thing about this air fryer it is dumb dumb dumb fahrenheit
Oh yeah u make one better then
Ya thats horrible a sticker
This scores a perfect 100 score. 100 percent worthless.
He said easy to clean? 😂
Just check inside look at the blade over time they get really nasty. Its very hard to clean that crap off. Those parts are fixed.
Can this guy say blithering idiot? Don’t waste your time
I have never heard so many stupid bad things about it. LOL. Nit-picky for sure.
Knitpicky…lol!
U sound silly it’s just fine More than $ worth 🛑 it 😂
What a whining guy. Oh it's got a sticker. It doesn't have touch buttons. Shut up and come clean my house!
It's a sticker bro.....
I did a poor job of conveying that point that it should not be a sticker at this price point, all other Air Fryers haves the settings electronically built in. While Ninja saves money with a sticker.
