We didn’t leave blackhawk helicopters. We left humvees, communication equipment, and hand weapons. Hopefully the northerners wait them out. The Humvees need maintenance, the hand weapons need ammo. It’s not an endless supply.

Just read up on the fall of Mazar E-sharif 2001, fall of Kunduz 2001, fall of Kabul 2001, fall of Herat 2001, fall of Kandahar 2001. Thousands of taliban and al-qaeda fighters fled to remote border regions and thousands more were captured.

@Sam Sam how is it possible , they only have few thousand fighters with limited ammunition and weapons while the Taliban has more than hundread thousand men and huge quantities of US weapons . Another fact you should remember the Taliban can speedily recover their losses in terms of men and material but the same cannot be said for NA . All they could do for now is consolidate their positions around panjsir and fortify their positions with the amount of forces they have and try to outlast the Taliban but defeating Taliban is out of the question. Also another fact , the Taliban surrounds the entire panjsir province and just by cutting of the roads they can prevent any sort of supplies reaching the NA and the populace of panjsir will slowly start to starve , the Taliban doesnot need to take panjsir by force all they need to do is starve out their enemy and force them to negotiate peace with them. Now do you realise your saying of NA taking entire Afganistan is a far cry and is literally impossible , think by logic not by your emotions.
Why aren't more Afghan citizens standing up and backing Massoud? There should be national uproar and uprising against the Taliban rule. You can't hide at home! We didn’t leave blackhawk helicopters. We left humvees, communication equipment, and hand weapons. Hopefully the northerners wait them out. The Humvees need maintenance, the hand weapons need ammo. It’s not an endless supply.

@Sam Sam how is it possible , they only have few thousand fighters with limited ammunition and weapons while the Taliban has more than hundread thousand men and huge quantities of US weapons . Another fact you should remember the Taliban can speedily recover their losses in terms of men and material but the same cannot be said for NA . All they could do for now is consolidate their positions around panjsir and fortify their positions with the amount of forces they have and try to outlast the Taliban but defeating Taliban is out of the question. Also another fact , the Taliban surrounds the entire panjsir province and just by cutting of the roads they can prevent any sort of supplies reaching the NA and the populace of panjsir will slowly start to starve , the Taliban doesnot need to take panjsir by force all they need to do is starve out their enemy and force them to negotiate peace with them. Now do you realise your saying of NA taking entire Afganistan is a far cry and is literally impossible , think by logic not by your emotions.

Why aren't more Afghan citizens standing up and backing Massoud? There should be national uproar and uprising against the Taliban rule. You can't hide at home! I am almost certain that there are more Afghan citizens than there is Taliban. There needs to be unity in Afghanistan and people need to fight back. Not surrender to the fate of the Taliban. Afghans are stronger than this! Time to show the world how strong.
