Yes real jade is very dense I hit my car's door with my jade bangle..accidentally of course...and guess what..my car's paint was scratched quite deep...and my bangle is as beautifull as it was..not a single scratch

Thanks for the question. Adventurine carries different characteristics and should not be sold as jade. It’s a form of quartz. The chemical composition is different, so as hardness, refraction index and specific gravity. Adventurine is mostly produced in Brazil, India, etc., while Jadeite, >90% of the global production, is from mines in Myanmar. Hope it helps. Cheers.

Why not test the sound with a fake Jade so we know the difference in sound it makes!? Why is it always videos that show one way and not the other!? Maybe the Jade you have is fake...
