As someone who was a Victim of false allegations, I can’t tell you how destructive these people are. I still go around town and I see people giving me dirty looks specially at the gym. I was lucky enough to have video evidence but for most people, once you’re accused, you’re guilty, they couldn’t care less about the truth.

Exactly, these laws exist because they need too, monsters exist and women and men should not need to fear that they could be SA'd, but the structure requires too little evidence to make an allegation and as such immoral people use the laws as a weapon of revenge. This will only make it harder in the future for real victims as the structure needs to change, to many false allegations are destroying the lives of innocent people.

No bruises no marks no wounds nothing. I was arrested and spent the weekend in jail. While I was in jail she had victim services changed the locks on my house and I was court ordered to stay away from my own house. By the time I was able to arrange a police escort to go to my house all of my stuff was sold. I was never compensated for these false allegations and illegal incarceration. @pfunk1227 I was accused by my adulterous ex wife of ... and think about the logic here ... going to shoot myself, then go amd shoot her also married boyfriend and his kids. Now think about the logic there .... however, police arrested me, threw me into a cell for 24 hours (though cleverly fiddled things so they in fact held me way beyond the legal time limit) and kept rearresting me when it became clear the previous thing couldn't be pinned on me. She later admitted to me that she amd her boyfriend had figured that if I was jailed I could not fight in court to save my property in the divorce. But the takeaway is there was *no* evidence whatsoever as I genuinely had not done anything. They first arrested me for "controlling behaviour" (apparently if I had serially said I was going to shoot myself, that's is controlling!) then I was in the cell and when that was clearly nonsense arrested me for threats to kill, then when thaz was clealry nonsense, arrested me for threats with a Firearm... which of course was also completely untrue. Eventually they had to let me go, but when requested a copy of interview, sent me a blank CD and refuse to send a proper copy! As a completely innocent person I can tell you it feels terrifying when you realise the police will believ absolutely sny nonsense if a woman says it, even if it is phyiscally and logically impossible. Then when they realise they got it wrong, would rather make other charges up than simply admit that and release you.

@@pfunk1227100% the most despicable thing you can do! Essentially it’s just weaponising the justice system - the process becomes the punishment; they have to live with these accusations hanging over them (often for years); the accused is not granted anonymity either, so the chances of ‘vigilante justice’ are immeasurably high even if they don’t end up banged up pending trial….. and that’s before you even consider the financial cost of defending accusations like this, along with the emotional effects as friends/family distance themselves.
Nothing happens, in most cases, to the false accuser - even where it’s gone to trial, a judge is usually directed to deem it not be in the public interest to prosecute a false accuser unless the circumstances are ‘exceptional’ (which usually means a history of false accusations needs to be established).

"women like this are the reason true victims don't come forward. "
What's worse is this little nugget of reality for ALL women: Your passive-aggressive, 'like me' comments on TH-cam that no judicial system ever encounters is the single, most reliable predictor of two eventualities for ALL women:
      1. An unimaginably prolonged, painful backlash by that portion of the population you have been $ucking over for DECADES while hiding behind 'like me' comments.
      2. One of the biggest erosions in trust, faith, confidence, love for, affection for and empathy for women that world history has ever witnessed. You dummies are quite literally manufacturing your own social extinction. Not even the original 'matriarchies' $ucked things up this bad, and they didn't have ANY of the diplomas and certifications that you demonstrably stupid waifs have.
Good luck with all of that, and remember to 'duck' when $hit eventually starts flying your way - for whatever reason, you still can't envision this $hit, but as someone who's observed and experienced the growing impatience with the 'fairer/smarter sex' in places like mainland China and the continental United States, might I suggest you begin a very public and transparent cleansing of the soul, replete with public demonstrations of support for victims such as the lads in this video above.
See, unlike the gals, guys are not satisfied with your platitudes and 'like me' comments - in fact, they tend to garner the opposite response. Consider this a friendly cautionary tale from a man who has stood upon the lookout toward towards the front of the Titanic crowded with lots and lots of women and seen the approaching ice berg. It sits a LOT deeper in the water than you dummies are capable of imagining, and its girth, weight and potential force is sufficient to reach a point of no-return.
Once again, good luck! Your work is much and challenging - whether you choose to atone for your DECADES of virulent misandry and predatory behavior on males is, as it always has been, something fully and solely within your power as a woman.

Something to take into account is that in Rochdale, Greater Manchester in 2012 there actually WAS a sex trafficking ring involving multiple young women and run largely by Asians (what Americans refer to as Middle Eastern and East Indian people). Young women and their families had been going to the police since 2008 to try and gain the attention of law enforcement. However, at that time law enforcement stated many of the arguments given in Ellie’s case after her arrest because local politicians and police did not believe it could be real. Afterwards, law enforcement made a public apology for not finding the complaints credible and thus investigating the ring sooner.
Frankly, I believe what happened in Rochedale was not forgotten by law enforcement and citizens; they were afraid of a replay of the Rochedale crimes. If one researches the Rochedale sex ring, it’s very obvious Ellie Williams borrowed much of her “evidence” from this real tragedy and its absolutely real victims.

The Police have an 'internal investigation' hide damaging evidence, blame nobody in uniform, shuffle some bad or incompetent cops around (with a pay increase) and say ''we have learnt valuable lessons from this'' - close the investigation and as we all know a few years from now it will happen all over again.

    • @kingcosworth2643

We don't really have that level of compensation available to us in the commonwealth. In Canberra Australia David Eastman was locked up for 20 years and, tied up with the case for 30 years, for allegedly shooting the police chief Colin Winchester. He was found not guilty after 19 years in prison and thus released. He was awarded $7mil which is reasonable, but I would not give up 20 years of my life for it. This type of compensation is very rare, it's really only because it was such a high profile case. If you are interested look at a recent SA allegation from Canberra within Parliment house. She pulled out of the court case half way through claiming mental anguish and the gave gave her $1mill. It appears to be a lie but even though the charge has been dropped on the guy, he never got proven 'not guilty' so he has the label of a grapist for the rest of his life, he did not get compensated.

    • @kaineandrews3790

It made me clean up my act a long time ago and not even expose myself to those situations ever again. When I see people from their early 20's up into their 50's or older and they enjoy indulging in that party/club scene lifestyle frequently I am always baffled as to why. Not to mention people that drive under the influence, nothing good ever goes down after 10pm.
I am not saying don't ever have a good time with your friends just be very careful of the company you keep.

Some people don't see the risk as as likely to occur as you do, some people like my friend doesn't even see the risk as he thinks the world works as written on the box, 'I won't get in trouble because I'm not doing anything wrong' We all get wiser as we age, but still at different rates to each other
