Currently, I'm living in a huge countryside called texas. I was born in the countryside. I haven't moved anywhere to live. My hometown is nothing special, so when I'm getting older. I will decide to go to new york city to live. This city has many benefits and this city is so 😎 cool and there are a lot of jobs for me. Now I'm a student, I have a passion for technology. New York is a good place to enhance my career. It would be difficult to achieve this purpose. But I believe that I will never quit and advance my goal constantly day by day. I think it's a hard journey. Finally, I'm so thankful, because you get me a lot of motivation.

Hello! Emma. First of all, I thank you for sending me that invaluable information. I am firmly committed to studying and learning how to use the articles to perfection. After watching this video, I wrote my examples. I hope you read them.
I live in a beautiful city, Machala, which is named the banana capital of the world. Nonetheless, I miss Loja, it is 8 hours from Machala, because its rivers are the best in Ecuador. For instance, the Zamora river flows through the town and divides the city. They seem like Islands. Fortunately, antique and modern bridges connect them.

I decided to leave a comment in order to practice these articles) Hi, everyone, my name is Amina. I was born in Kharkiv, one of the biggest cities in Ukraine. The russian federation started the senseless and bloody war. I still live in Kharkiv region, although it's near the border. The Ukrainians are brave and independent. There is no doubt in our victory. But this war kills our people and ruins our cities every day. The Black Sea, the Dnipro, The Carpathians, Crimea are something I want to see again.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank Ukrainian soldiers and everyone who helps us! Thank foreigners, who gave and still are giving our people everything they need.

Hi Emm :) Another live-saver lesson from you :) Even if I have a good command of English, sometimes I make little mistakes in the articles :) Thanks a lot. Have a nice week. Greetings from Turkey :) ( Çağlar Didman)

Hi, Emma! I'm a Portuguese speaker and more than half of these rules are the same in English and in Portuguese, but some of them are different. I don't have any problems with "a" or "an", but the article "the" causes some troubles sometimes. Although I've been studying English for 11 years, some of these rules are a bit tricky for me.

Lovely teaching style and great lessons! Recently, I came across the difference between "In a mood" and "In the mood". Are the articles repososible for the difference in a meaning? Thank you kindly!

You alrady had about lessons about the articles but repetition is the key to knowledge. Your lesson caught my interest as well as they always do.

Chapters, workbook, full information about the definite article, you always prepare a nice lesson for us Emma! Although I know the rules, I have been caught by our teachers on Hey lady some times, making mistakes. I am going to write the description of my place later on..

Learning the uses of THE with proper nouns was great fun! (It's a bit confusing, though.) Thank you!
