And I did find a reason: Lily-Rose Depp. Despite the people behind that dumpster fire trying to exploit her, she ate & did it well. She deserved better. Then again, I think I’m one of the few people that hold out hope that Lily-Rose will do a “Yoga Hosers” sequel because I really liked the ridiculousness of the first one 🤣🤦🏽♀️ Also, I love your videos. I will say, Ep. 2 of this crazy show showed a great perspective of an “Idol” in the mainstream dealing with a loss of someone that Joslyn had gone through with losing her mom a year ago. 😭 And also having this perfectionist view of how they want to/ have to look to make a product better and the time/ pain they go through to obtain it. 👏🏾🤔 BUT then Sam had to fuck the episode up with the ending that is so…. I- I cannot say words that describes how bad it was. 😑😵💫
Actually, it’s not that she manipulated Him, She just played his game right back at him. She probably already felt he came into her life to try and control her as he does with most of his cult, but he made her be inspired to make music again as he is talented at bringing talent out of people which is how he built his cult, and she let him live in her house and bring his artist, They also helped fill the void in her house and she felt less lonely with him and his culty music family around, So she Made him belief he was controlling her since she wanted him around her. Until She knew he was with Dyanne, and Dyanne was going to replace her in singing the first song. So she decided to flip things, and completely ruin him and make him lose everything and bring him back, So all he had was her and she would be fully in control, The control he wanted to have over her. Which she kinda learnt from her mother who was abusive and manipulative but who also jumpstarted her career since a child.
Yea I hated the show but I did think that she mainly kept him around after realizing he was helping her with her album and then once she was done and ready for the show she didn't need him anymore. If the show had a different director preferably a WOMAN who would NEVER listen to The Weekends creepy ass input and Sam was only in charge of visuals, it would've been so much better
The original show with the original director/writer was supposed to be 6 episodes. When what's his face came in, he decided he only needed 5. And yeah, Tove Lo is pronounce Tu-va Lu
I only watched 3 episodes but I think Lilly tried her best if what she was given it was supposed to be more female centered and show more of her character growing up but ofc the weekend and Sam changed to whatever this show is 😂😭

People are saying Selena because The Weeknd dated her and she came out with a documentary about her mental health struggles and lupus called my mind and me if you go on a deep dive into Selena’s life you can see some connections first she has collabed with black pink, her mom also launched her career because her mom once pursued to be star but didn’t make it so she instead put her daughter in the industry
I feel like you should watch the whole thing to understand how they got there. Yes it’s ALOT of unnecessary sex but some good scenes of acting from Lily Rose and some comedic dialogue from her team
Listen… The Idol is HORRIBLE. As a fan of The Weeknd, this show was not it. I wasn’t feeling it at all. The only thing I like about the show is the soundtrack/music. That’s it.
