    You have no idea how much your journey has inspired me to ditch the yo yo dieting and just eat whatever to satiety. I have no cravings post 4 months and I don't care what I eat or when I eat. I no longer obsess over food, I go to the bathroom every day (no more constipation), and I'm so mentally freed.
    I may have gained weight, but seeing how happy you are and how great I feel other than the bad body image days. I am grateful for you and your content.
    So thank you on behalf of the thousands of young boys and girls you have helped.

      That was/is me . Lord I know when I was 79 pounds and I tried eating again , cuz Wigh the threat of Covid that it was goanna wipe away my malnourished ass. But I rmbr being ALWAYS hungry . I ate from morning to night and my stomach would be beyond full physically but I was ALWAYS hungry . Thank gosh I had this quarantine to just replenish myself morning to night instead of worrying about school and work and stuff like that . Everything really happens for a reason . But I rmbr when I was restricting food would ALWAYS be on my mind . I used to ONLY talk about good to people . I used to watch other people Mukbang on TH-cam at 3 in the morning with my stomach growling . And I used to crave foods that I never liked as a kid and would never eat because I just needed FOOD . I would crave raw bread and warm milk , something I never liked as a kid . And now that I’m eating regularly and gained my weight back to like 117 pounds , I don’t crave those things any more . I’m so glad my hunger cues are normal now 😭🙏🏼

      @@Noodles-xy4mj im in that situation rn although my weight is a good 20 lbs heavier than yours. what made you wanna recover? all i think about is food, dream abt food, i have a food vid playlist on my channel. man the obsession because of my ed is real

    • @Noodles-xy4mj
      @Noodles-xy4mj 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@sofiastar2933 girl I kid you not that was me . I used to watch those “all Nutella eating challenges “ or like those intense mukbangs where they eat all thing peanut butter yada yada . Watching them eat made me feel like I ate them in a weird way . What made me recover were a bunch of things . I realized although skinny is the ideal in society and I always wanted to be skinny , people actually thought I looked sick and for lack of better words “icky” . Then there was the aspect I got so so weak . I always loved boxing and working out so I could be stronger . Knowing I could carry 4 to 8 grocery bags in one trip was satisfying . It made me feel badass xD . But when I got weak lord even moving the blender made my back and arms hurt for two days . I hated it . And then there was the looming fear of covid . It’s so prevalent and being underweight , I knew it was goanna wipe away my 79 pound ass in no jiffy . After all lack of food puts ur immune system on halt. And then one big big reason was school . School has always been a top priority for me , even more than my health . And not because I have the looming expectations of my parents , they couldn’t care less . It was for my personal goals . Lack of food esp carbs pretty much makes u stupider 😂 ur brain is the only picky organ that can only derive energy from carbs . Everything else takes what it gets . So low sodium low carbs low sugar low everything diet and surviving on a couple of strawberries and cucumber and some espresso shot made me dizzyyyy, my attention was lacking and it was just bad . So so bad . But I’ll be honest . Recovering was SO MUCH more painful. There comes a point in ur ED where u go numb . U don’t feel the pain x once u start eating and ur organs use the energy from the food to repair itself , u start getting ur senses in a way back . And that’s when u start to feel the damage of ur bod . I put all exercise in half and just ate day until night . The body aches last for months , I could barely walk . But it gets better it always does . You just have to persistent with your food and rest . You deserve it : your body deserves . Eat as much as u can . Ed can literally kill u. Plus all that fat is there for a reason to protect ur darn organs . Fuck aesthetics . Do I wanna life a risky and shortened life just for people to think oh u so prettty , wow I love ur collarbones , wow u got a flat stomach . Or do I wanna like a safe and long life eating the food I love cuz it makes me happy and experiencing the world WHILE PPL STILL THINKING IM PRETTY cuz when ur eating and glowing u just naturally seem more attractive . Gahhhh i have so much more to type but I don’t wanna overwhelm u 😂

    I have started a real ALL IN journey a month ago, to recover from and ED and HA, have gain weight and fat, and you have inspired me so much to takr the leap. I've been scared although I knew it was the only way for me to finally have a consistent good and healthy relationship with food and to have balanced hormones (which I never really had before having HA anyway) . You give me hope that I'll be able to live a life without constantly fearing food, fearing gaining weight, fearing to see my body change, and then enjoying every bit of my workouts. I will never thank you enough!! And it's so so good to see how much happier you look now :)

Of course, my family never said anything to me, it was all in my head.

    I didn’t realize it until last week that I essentially did “all in” a couple years ago and I rode the curve you’ve talked about. Gained weight, started getting full at a normal pace then started slowing losing the weight again. I stopped caring about what I ate and just ate until I was full and ate whatever I wanted. I gained weight for sure but I’ve reached a point 2 years later that I finally know when I am full, I eat significantly less, and I finally stopped thinking about food 24/7. I’m the lightest I’ve weighed since highschool and I still eat whatever I want now but I just find I get full quicker than I used too and no longer binge on shitty food bc I restricted myself. It’s honestly crazy but this whole process is so true and actually works. My mind is finally at ease around food which I never EVER thought would happen 2 years ago.

I eat differently everyday but I’m now maintaining the lowest weight I’ve had in 10 years at 161. I eat between 1500-2500 Cals depending on how active I am during the day. Stephanie, it was amazing and truly inspiring to see a full spectrum of an “All In” diet that you’re currently having. I really appreciate the effort you put into this video, you’re the first creator I’ve seen on TH-cam who included other examples for the same meals. Obviously no one eats the exact same dishes every day so thank you for bearing that in mind and giving your audience an overview of your eating. It makes me so happy to watch your relationship with food getting healthier and healthier.
    P.S: I can’t wait to read your book when it comes out!

    Stephanie, I just want to let you know you have inspired me to heal myself from my eating disorder problem. I am a serious aneroxic and I am very very scared to eat. I am way too thin for my height and everyone around me is telling me so but I never think I am thin enough. I weigh everything I eat and I weigh myself multiple times every day. My period has been literally gone for a few months and my hair falls like crazy. I am very ill, I know it, still I am so scared to be "normal" again. I exercise 6 times a week because I think I don't deserve to eat food that I like if I don't work out. I came upon your video about 2 weeks ago and you were undergoing quite the same situation as mine and you have really made me feel that gaining weight is fine. I love food and I actually have a big appetite. I want to look as pretty and eat as I like like before. My husband is encouraging me to eat and he always tells me he will love me even if I grow fat. I have started to try changing since just 1 week ago but to be honest, I am still very very afraid of gaining weight, even 1 pound. Can you please help?

      hi there! hope you’re continuing in your recovery journey, i’m currently going through mine and I would highly suggest going to a doctor and maybe start with a meal plan at first because all in was very intimidating especially going from extreme restriction to allowing yourself everything! maybe start with a breakfast lunch and dinner until you start feeling hungry again, maybe let your husband make each meal to take that pressure off of you and then once you’re hungry and motivated allow yourself whatever whenever, i started my journey about a month ago and now even if i didn’t want to eat my body wouldn’t let me..i feel so much better and actually hungry and will most likely go all in next month or the month after that when i’m fully ready to let go. recovery is so worth it, and i was the same with exercise and now my body is too tired to get out of bed sometimes, it’s crazy what our bodies can do during survival mode but once you start getting food you realize how much damage you truly did. i wish you the best of luck :)

    • @caitlinm1874
      @caitlinm1874 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      also, don’t forget to heal your mind because healing your body is only a part of it...if you can go to therapy i would highly suggest that as a first step and if not i would suggest speaking to a loved one about your fears and listen to what they have to say with your brain not your eating disorders brain...your loved ones and doctors/therapists aren’t out to get you/for you to get “fat” and want you to be healthy, anorexia is extremely dangerous and at 21 years old it lead me to almost have a heart attack please take care of yourself it’s not worth it ❤️

Showing realistic achievements actually targets a larger audience (says the 48 year old, slightly overweight mom of a 19 and 15 year old)!

    I've followed you since a long time ago, long before you started your all in process, and I remember that the reason why I started following you was because I watched a "fitness girl eats 10k calories on a day" video and afterwars i binge watched all the ones you made of that type and I was really amazed that someone other than me could do that jajaja and on top of that be able to stay fit with a "dream body" that I would have died, literally, for. I thought i didn't have any eating disorders anymore when I was passed my anorexia phase but after I really started to follow your journey, I knew I was only lying to myself all that time, I knew that eating only fruits and some yogurt wasn't enough for my body to function or that eating until I can't breathe or think wasn't good either. Long story short, watching your journey helped me realized food is just that, food, not something that I should be anxious or afraid of. I'm not fully recover yet but I can say that I'm better than I was before and your videos has helped on that too, so I wanted to thank you and let you know what a great person you are, thanks

Even though, I don't have extreme hunger or any ED, I realized I'd been yoyo dieting for as long as I could remember. I was either basically kind of starving myself or eating until I was very sick. I would overeat because mentally I would be worried I'd not have another chance to enjoy this food. Your all in video inspired me to just feed myself instead of always restricting myself. What I'm really enjoying about your content lately is that your normalizing the idea of being "in progress". Regardless of what someone is trying to achieve, even outside health/fitness, it is a fallacy that we jump from an intention to make change to a final satisfying result - and that is OKAY! You are documenting so well what it's like to work through various issues, not fixate on imperfect actions or thoughts as failure and showcasing that just working through it the best you can and continuing to pick small areas to address (while cutting yourself a break on others) is really what it is all about. Being "in progress" is a tremendous thing to strive for and I love that you are so open about your journey.
