I'm considering selling my Ninja 400 and getting one of these. Sure the Ninja is probably quicker, but the V7 speaks to the esoteric side of motorcycling in a way sport bikes just don't.

It's called V7 because it's a V configuration and it was originally 700cc

the truth is that the name is from an older model .

7 valves per cylinder? Nope. It's because the original model had a 750cc engine.

@@vegarosa69 Whoops! I was way wrong. The original V7 had 703cc capacity and 2 valves per cylinder. The modern V7 is now 853cc
