Background verification process is tricky for both Freshers and Experienced. Verification in India is done quite differently than abroad. your current company will initiate verification on previous company, also take into consideration of PF.

Hi, recently on surrendering company assets, It was told to me that screen privacy was is not surrendered by me along with laptop,where as I did not receive any screen privacy on asset allocation that is on the day of joining, however I have received a mail on date of allocation that the said asset is received, I didn't raised this earlier because I thought screen privacy us already attached to the laptop and is not supposed to be received in hand..what can I do to avoid the recovery in my f&f

I've a very specific query regarding background check. Let's say I've worked for companies A,B and C in the past. C is my last company which I left and now joining company D. I've a huge experience and usually opportunities are less as your experience grows. Hence, if I want to hide my total experience in my first company A on my resume so that my experience will be reduced and I'll get more opportunities. Now, will the new company D do a background check for all the previous companies C and B? If so, will they ask company B about the previous employer?

i have worked in 'A' company as full time employee in Non-IT job with degree qualification for 2.5 yrs and i had completed Masters (MCA) at the same time as a regular student. Now I'm working in 'B' company with the experience of 'A' company after completion of MCA, Now i want to settle in IT stream.
so, can I tell the next company that I have joined 'B' company as a MCA fresher and can I settle in other company?
if so, in 'B' company offer letter states that they considered 'A' company experience and if I join in 'C' company with MCA should i submit offer letter to them?
Saikumar, most company consider experience while studying. So can show ur complete experience if all are relevant.
While some big mnc like infosys only consider experience after last degree, there when u show full experience they will only consider after degree. So no need to hide anything from ur side, companies will consider it as per their standard

It depends … sometimes bgv verification company fetch from PF details and then they can find any company you worked in past…..You can hide experience but in this case you should have justification and document to support this,nothing will happen
Agar CV me experience mention kr diya to verification hogi CV ke hisab se, agar CV me mention hi na kro toh kuchh nhi hoga.

What if someone has two previous employers but only wants to show the experience of the second employer and also takes the salary hike in a new company based on that only and also in new companys ol it is written that x months of exp is only considered which is in the second company.also the person joined the second employer as a fresher but due to absconding there shows overlap in uan portal. You might get caught. Because, employer can login on epfo site and check based on your UAN number. Query would come to you. Beware
Sir how long a company takes to update PF bcoz recently one of my cousin joined one company and completed one month and now he is joining a new company so is the new employer can track his previous employer through UAN as the salary is credited even if he worked for one month. Please guide us

I was working in XYZ company , while working in xyz company in covid period 2021, my company didn't gave me system for work from home , at that time i was worked in online portal (omnion premedia), which provide a outsourcing freelancing job. I did until my company contacted me back. It was around 2 months.
Now last week i was selected in Tech Mahindra and rejected in Pre BGV, due to service overlap in dual companies
But in EPFO portal service history there was only one data which is current company(XYZ), there is no overlap in service history of EPFO
but it was overlapped in ITR verification , TDS deduction from the Freelancing company.
I am not getting the solution or idea to fix this issue. Are there any solutions ?

Sir, I have a special situation. I resigned from a company during my unpaid training period. Hence, no experience letter/relieving letter/salary slip/UAN. Basically no nothing. Only an offer letter and that too not for the full time employment but only for acceptance as trainee. Should I keep this as my work experience when applying new. Also, in the interviewe I already mentioned I'm working because I really was but as a trainee. Hence during bgv should I proceed as fresher or experience?

Actually I joined one MNC company after 2 days I mailed to HR and I abscond and then I joined another company after clearing their bgv check. Absconded company created epfo portal but did not process any salary or created any amount in epfo. After one they sent me a legal notice to buy a 90 day notice period.

Apni last company ka maine offer letter aur last 3 months ka salary slips bhi submit kiya jisake basis par new company ne muze offer letter bhi send kar diya. Lekin ab jaha mai new company join kar rahi hu waha pr unhone mera UAN number bhi maanga hai. Toh sir iss case me kya ho sakata hai??? I am in a great stress due to my company harrassing me, I got an opportunity in an organization and I requested for early release in notice period my manager informed that I have been relesaed as an excpetion but they are not ready to provide last date confirmation email which my other organization is asking for before joining. Sir, maine previous company me notice periods shot ki recovery amount paid ki hai fir bhi equifax me absconding dikha raha hai previous company reveling letter de rahi par equifax report me update nahi karne ko bol rahi hai.reveling letter me bhi exit reason without notice period dene wale hai .abhi current company reveling latter ka koi issue nahi but equifax report ki baje se offer latter hold kar diya pls.ab kya karu bataye..

Sir pahle mai private job me tha waha UAN ke through PF katata tha kuch din gap k bad ab railway m hu jaha NPS ke through PRAN card banana h and I haven't given the details of my previous job. this was by mistake. Can railway get the details of my previous job while my bank account number is same as previous and PAN+ ADHAR is linked everywhere?

Actually in January month I have issue with my quality manager and after sometime i applying my leaves because of family function but my team menager cancel and not approved my leaves than I used my leaves without any information to my team menager and than my team menager absconding me without any pre information and hold my salary...

Hello Sir,
I started my career with xyz company and I absconded after 8 month and this company generated UAN.
Now I am working with MNC company and they are also generated one more UAN number in 2016. I am working this company since 2016 and have 7.5 years of experience. Current company don't know about my previous company and UAN.
Now I wanted to switch company and have the offer letter of another MNC company but issue is now BGC is very strict if I caught then I will be terminate.
I have withdrawn all PF amount from xyz company they already mentioned as CESSATION (Short Service) with DOE.
I have only salary slip of xyz company.
If I joine new company now then what happens with me?
How can I convince HR?

bhai i joined one firm in my home town as part time employee but later i joined as full time at the same but that firm during my part time job to get some dealership taken my documents and open pf account and shown me on the payroll of the company for which they want dealership with General manager of that company as i was part time working there i give them documents now after 6-7 year issues comes up now i am working in corporate and my current n last org not checked any pf work history but in organization i applied clear interview n everything they checked that and asked me the same question about my that expirence as i shown expirence of that firm but on portal its showing i was working for some other organization so i told them all this thing so now how much chances to get that job or clear verification????

Sir, mai apni previous company se relieving certificate aur experience certificate nhi le paya, but abhi mai ek new company me job kr rha hu,current company me maine sb kuch bataya hua hai, aur sath hi mai apni previous company se pure documents lene ka try kr rha hu, but wo log jada interest le nhi rhe hai, meanwhile agr mai kisi aur new company me joi krta hu aur pura experience show krta hu, to kya mujhe apni 1st company ka experience certificate aur relieving certificate dikhana padega???
