We recently bought a lot in Colorado, our dream state. I know how beautiful this state is but one thing I always tell my husband is to live in the moment. I don't want to move from one place to another because we will never ran out of good places to visit in Colorado alone.. burnout is real. I want to enjoy my morning coffee beside the river and surrounded by beautiful mountains and not worry about next location. we used to travel to several locations within 2 weeks but not anymore. whenever we go Camping now, we just stay in 1 or 2 locations and enjoy being in that place fully. so wish you guys luck. it's very understandable how you feel. I'm glad you are finding the balance lifestyle now. we will be here for whatever is your next video❤

We've been watching you guys for a while now and enjoy your videos. We moved from Michigan to Arizona 5 years ago. A lot like your story Arizona has been my dream location to live for many years. It took a lot of work but we made the leap. Now we can't imagine ever living anywhere else.
Good for you guys! You deserve to live life on your own terms. If someone leaves a corporate job to avoid burnout to then become a content creator that begins to experience burnout, then what’s the point? I’m not saying that’s your situation. I’m just saying that no matter what path people choose in life, there has to be a balance between using the mind and feeding the soul. Sometimes you just want to enjoy the moment with the ones you love and not have it be content. It’s your own special thing. Enjoy the slower pace and I am still looking forward to whatever you all choose to create as often as you so choose. 🙂
I have enjoyed watching your videos of Tucson and southern Arizona. After 30 years in Colorado Springs, I was chasing beach life and move to the coast of North Carolina 2 1/2 years ago. I now know that’s not my place. So I spent last April in Mesa to start checking out Arizona and I’m now going to be spending next winter there again and I really hope and planned to spend a lot of time in Tucson and Southeast Arizona. I am having my adventure and one of the super nice RV resorts with the park model homes. I knew nothing about this type of vacation or wintering because I’m not coming from somewhere with a lot of snow and cold just somewhere that is dreary and cloudy and just a little too cool in the winter. I found I’m really missing Colorado but I seem drawn to Arizona for some reason. So we will see what happens next winner! If you guys go to Oracle I would love to hear about your experience that somewhere I really want to see and check out I know it’s super small.

I completely understand where you are! We raised 3 sons and the 2 youngest were 3 sport athletes. Some of those sports I coached as well. We were always on the run. After our youngest graduated high school in 2019 we did the same thing you are doing right now, and it was just what we needed! It felt so good!!! I absolutely love you guys and whenever you feel the need or desire to post a video here I will be watching...I agree with everything you said...being PRESENT and enjoying the stillness is something I am trying to achieve as well, after being a single mom and raising 3 kids by myself...the struggles and chaos were definitely worth it...but it's time for Mama to find some peace now and to nurture myself. I do have 2 daughters that live in Colorado, one has been there since 2018 and my younger daughter JUST moved to Golden last week! (I am in NY) Sooo...I feel I may be making the move myself very soon...It's funny you speak about "not feeling like home" in Colorado...I get it. Even though I was born and raised in NY State, it just doesn't feel like "home" anymore now that my kids are no longer here. We all love you - take good care of yourselves and post when you can - we will be here! 🙂❤

I have had several that asked me why I do not do a TH-cam channel instead of doing my travel blog. It simply is too much work for me to do a channel. The blog takes up a good amount of time as is. The constant set up of cameras just to have to stop and go back to get the camera from shots being taken and editing of videos. No, I would rather enjoy what I am actually doing and seeing at the time. Taking simple pictures and sometimes a short video on my phone is plenty for me to document my travels. I have enjoyed your videos on truck camping as that is what I do my blog about as well. Thank you for sharing what you have. Do what you need to do to really enjoy life. It is your life to live.
Completely understandable . You will never regret the last nine years of travel before settling in. I don’t think a travel lifestyle is sustainable and I do believe you reach a saturation point where you just can’t take anything else in! Be still… a challenge for us all.
