Thanks so much for watching our day in Leadville! Check out my other Colorado Travel Guides in my TH-cam Playlist: th-cam.com/play/PL8edJnev97YF0H1_rQtYzwhj3oewteO1X.html
I wish I could have been there to show you around. I lived there for three and a half years. Both in Twin Lakes and Leadville. There is a lot of beautiful trails and hikes to go on and areas to camp. And just as much to do in the winter, if you like skiing or snowboarding!
We are heading to Leadville on Saturday! So excited to do the train ride. We will be snowmobiling in the Vale recreation area on Sunday. Thanks for all the travel tips!
I want to go there someday. Just to see how it feels being so high, and to see how long it takes to get used to the high elevation. At 6,700 feet it took over a week and I still wasn't normal feeling. So it will be neat to see what it is like up there. Plus it looks like there is quite a lot to do there too!
Darn....I just came back from visiting Leadville this 2022 Fall season. Wish I had seen your video. Will need to ck out that Prime Rib dinner on my next visit!!!!!
Jeanie, i like your Glenwood spring video and visited there. Ate smoked pulled pork at BBQ house, had ice cream according to your recommendation. Great expediance. Thank you...
Hi, Been really enjoying the Colorado exploration videos since I found your channel last week, but I was wondering if you guys were thinking gonna do a video around Granby? Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work!
Thank you for a great video! The road is not a loop, right? So you should see everything on the way back if you happend to be on the "wrong" side (2 seater) initially...? Thank you!
The train goes up the track, and comes back down in reverse. There is no loop, or turn around. However you are free to move around so you're able to see the views, just not sitting in some of the booths for the whole trip.
While Leadville is the highest incorporated CITY in the United States at 10,430 feet elevation, Alma is the highest incorporated TOWN not in only in Colorado but in North America at 10,578 ft. My family visited Alma, CO and had a debate over it. lol.
A simple menu, you know this restaurant is good. If Gordon Ramsay taught me anything about a restaurant, a simple menu, means the food is legit. If I ever make it to this place, I am ordering what you guys got.
Hello, my family and I will be staying at Leadville Colorado (Twin Lakes) and I was wondering what all we should do. We want to go sledding for sure. Hoping you could help us have a great time! Thank you!
I've never visited in winter time so I haven't done research. But this vlog has lots of great stops that you may be interested in...however not winter related.

I live 1 hour from leadville and we always go there and it is the most pretty place 😊
The saloon reminds me of the Ohio Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas! So much history, a little spooky, and a really neat vibe. 💕
Definitely! Really cool saloon! If you ever are in Leadville be sure to stop by!
The train ride looks so fun!!
It was soo fun! Really great train ride!
there is a nice trail head for Mt. Massive right there at the Fish Hatchery as well.... i always bring a few bucks in quarters to feed the trout.
Yes!! Next time we visit we plan to do some hiking! And yes, we didn't have a quarter or any change on us to feed the fish...I was totally bummed!!
I lived there per 4 months only because my old job & that town it's awesome 💯
It really is!! We can't wait to go back again this summer! Such a beautiful area and town!
Twin Lakes is awesome to kayak on.
Yes, we just did that this weekend. It was beautiful!
The last couple weeks of September to the early first part of the week of October is the best time for fall colors.
Yup, exactly!
I would Love to Know where you purchased your hoody
dont forget the highest motocross track in North america ;)
Again another wonderful video. Have you done a video of Manitou Springs Co yet?
Me and my homie are planning on spending a month up there to train MMA hopefully we will come back as beasts
Leadville has the best pizza place: High Mountain Pies. So impressive, you will like it!
Yes!! When we go back we want to try it!!
@@JeanieMarie we live in Boulder for 6 years and we miss Colorado a lot..❄️

*Highest incorporated city - Alma, Colorado is higher, but it's a town, not a city. :)

Hey
Hey!! 👋
Simple menus don't sound very welcoming for vegans/vegetarians.
True point! Not familiar if steakhouses would ever offer that? I've never paid attention.
