In this video, we show you how our Work Lace to Toe is made from start to finish. This model has twice the THICKNESS of a normal Nicks Boot in the toe. These two layers are due to the construction of the boots. Stick around for the final product! All Nicks Boots are made here in Spokane, WA from the finest parts and materials. We are USA-owned and operated, valuing the livelihoods of our workers as well as the quality of our boots. If you're looking for the toughest work boots on the market, you've finally come to the right place.
If you're interested in how our boots are serviced, check out other content on our TH-cam channel! While most boots are meant to be thrown away after a few months, Nicks are built to last. When your boots start to need some servicing, you can send them in to have them resoled or completely rebuilt! Nicks Handmade Boots are serviceable and last years longer than a mass-produced boot. Since 1964, Nicks has been making the highest quality boots on the market, right here in Spokane Washington. If you're tired of your old work boots wearing out, upgrade to Nicks and enjoy the most comfortable boots on the market.

My motherinlaw worked at SAS( San Antonio shoes) for 40 years as a cutter.up until the PANDIMIC. She can look at a huge pelt of leather and tell you how many right shoes and left shoes can come out of it..She LOVED her job and wishes she could go back...She is 76 and looks and feels good. ..but that's expérience.

I wish I could get a version of the Firefighter Boot with a moderate arch. Call it the “Boilermaker”.
I work around big boilers, most of them are 3-5 stories tall. We walk on catwalks that are VERY HOT.
You must wear heat resistant gloves to grab the hand rails on the stairs or level catwalks.
The hot steel catwalks and stairs can destroy a pair of Timberlands in less than a minute. I do not need the logger heel.
In fact, a wedge sole might almost be ideal. But, no one makes that type of sole, yet.
It would be good if you offered the Firefighter boot in a moderate arch version, one without the logger or dogger heel stack.
