Thanks for the helpful video. Great information presented in a calming manner. I especially appreciated the restaurant recommendations. I feel the island calling!
Wonderful! Best video I've watched on traveling to curacao. I was wondering what your favorite Farmer's market is and if the have local artisan jewelry, art, or clothing. Also if you found anywhere that the locals sold their handmade... anything lol. Not the boutiques that buy them too cheap and market them up 500 % Thank you so much!
Thanks for the kind comment! I'm not an expert on farmer's markets, but we did like the circular Indoor Market at Marshe Nobo street. They had lots of handmade jewelry and art there, as well as lots of other souvenir options at reasonable prices.
Great informative video! We are going in March. I am going to swim with the turtles and go to the KNIP beach to pet pigs. Plus I really want to visit the fish restaurant you mentioned. Thanks for the tips. Oh yeah and I'm going to go shopping at a supermarket. Keep up the travel.
Curacao is one of those destinations that is great to visit any time of the year. We were there in the summer, and the benefit was that it was not as busy as it would be during the prime winter holiday season.
This is a great video, especially for your first time. I do have a few corrections and notes though. It's sta Martha bay, not Santa Maria bay. Santa Maria is a neighborhood on the island. Someone already said it, but I agree, you missed the large blowhole at Watamula, or at the very least you didn't show it. The Visserij pronounced Vissurraaeey (It's Dutch for Fishery) Other places I would definitely recommend to visit if you want to spend time in nature are The blue Room, The Hato caves, Christoffel Park and Shete Boka (seven inlets) Park. If possible take a trip to Klein Curaçao for a nice day out at sea, bit on the expensive side, but a whole lot of fun (unless you get seasick easily). There is a new eatery around Caracasbaai called Pasawá which is full of ambience and great food selection. It's a food truck concept. The same concept is in Otrabanda called Bario, also an awesome place to have a bite at night. If you're in Otrabanda visit the Kurá Hulanda slavery museum and after have a walk in the Kurá hulanda area behind the museum. It's beautiful. All in all, a very enjoyable travel vlog, thanks for that.
Thank you for your detailed and informative comments - much appreciated. I certainly loved visiting the island and sharing my video content, and can't wait to go back to see some of the things you mentioned that I didn't get a chance to experience.

That was not watamula hole. Nice blow hole but I'm afraid you missed the big one. At least in your video.
Good shots just be careful not to touch the marine life or harass them getting too close.
