    6 weeks to go and I'll be there! Thanks for the recommendations on beaches, coves, and restaurants to visit. I'll add them to my list.

    I've been to all three of the ABC Islands and I think your title is a little unfair. If you're only able to visit ONE, I would choose Curacao as well. But I think both are worth visiting, although I would recommend visiting Aruba first, because once you've seen Curacao, Aruba won't impress you that much. It sounded like you didn't venture too far beyond the tourist areas in Aruba, you can find the kind of experience you're looking for in Aruba too if you know where to look. But I will say Aruba is more commercialized and has a lot of American influence, while Curacao feels much more traditional and authentic. Overall, Curacao is much more diverse in terms of attractions and geography. It's much more scenic and the snorkeling and beaches are better by far. However, some things Aruba has over Curacao is it's safer, the U.S. dollar is more widely accepted, and I also felt Aruba in general was much more tourist friendly, and had more opportunity to learn about the islands' history and culture. Also, the people on Aruba were much more friendly and open than on Curacao. Curacao had some of the most unpleasant people I've ever met.
    The people alone are a reason to visit Aruba.
    I agree with you on all inclusive resorts. I visited some on Grand Cayman and literally felt depressed. However, your video lost credibility when you said you visited Turks and Caicos, but are saying not to visit Aruba. Aruba is WAY more interesting than Turks and Caicos! Now it may not be as interesting as some other islands, but Aruba was only the second Caribbean island I visited, and it's what got me started in exploring the "real Caribbean", so it will always have a special place in my heart.

      Great input! I would choose Aruba over Turks and Caicos easily, the ABC islands are my favorite thus far over all the Caribbean islands I’ve been. I haven’t been to Bonaire yet, it’s next on the list including Roatán. I need to clarify, I didn’t mean Aruba was a bad island to go, just for my reasons above Curaçao made more sense.

      @@boundariesunlimited267 I've been to Puerto Rico (including Culebra), Grand Cayman, Barbados, Grenada (including Carriacou) and all the ABC Islands and I think the ABCs were my favorite as well. In terms of attractions Curacao was still my favorite overall, even though I found the people unpleasant. Barbados and Grenada may have been more scenic and interesting than Aruba and Curacao, but I found the people unpleasant, and people are very important to me. I mainly only visit the European islands now, because I got tired of having money extorted from me, and having to constantly be on guard. One thing I liked about the ABC Islands, is I could use public transportation and explore every nook and cranny without having to fear for my safety. The only other sovereign island I'm interested in visiting right now is St. Kitts and Nevis.
      Which islands have you been to? Bonaire isn't as interesting as Curacao. In terms of nature and eco-tourism, Bonaire is better than Aruba, but Aruba is better for history, culture and beaches and it's more lively. Unless you plan your whole trip around nature and eco-tourism stuff, you might get bored on Bonaire after a couple days. I only visited on a day trip, and if you plan it right, it's enough to experience everything the island has to offer.
      I've yet to visit Guadeloupe and Martinique, but I feel those would top Curacao. I've yet to visit a French island, so that's my next goal for the Caribbean. Enjoy Bonaire and Roatan.

    first statement already is cap you only have been to tourist beaches in aruba go to rodger beach grapefield beach parts of eagle beach Santo Largo andicuri dos playa black stone beach etc etc aruba is way safer cleaner nicer people, the reason why the house in aruba would be 2/3 times more expensive is becuase aruba is 3 times smaller and has 1/2 of people and a lot more people want to go to aruba. that is why their gdp was 500 million more than curacao. in the netherlands everybody knows people who go to curacao rahter go to aruba but cant afford it

      It depends what you are looking for. If you are on a budget than Curacao might be the better choice. Curacao also beats Aruba with diving.

      I’m from the Netherlands, and no dutch has that opinion. You seriously think Europeans wouldn’t be able to afford Aruba? Aruba is very American while Curacao is a mixture of Europe and Caribbean, which grabs our attention.

    • @Pp-zv4or
      @Pp-zv4or 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@XRTSDFA that is not true because almost all the dutch people go to curacao or bonaire because it is way cheaper and most of them cant afford staying in aruba aruba prices are defenitly not the same as bonaire and curacao. most of people who go to curacao and bonaire are middle class people that is a fact those cant afford to spend 200/1k a day on a vacation in aruba
      aruba is the same as european and carribean do you even have been in aruba? you defenitly dont know what you are talking about
