I think I first saw Hunter Foster in the 1994 Grease Revival, the one with Rosie O’Donnell & Billy Porter. But my Rizzo was played by Xena (aka Lucy Lawless) so I’m not sure if he was still in the show. He also originated the main character in Urinetown. I remember that production of Little Shop was its first time on Broadway but was put in the Tony Revival category. Sad I missed the Flea. I just enjoy the window shopping. It’s weird the streets aren’t shut down anymore, they used to close a few streets for it.
Agree that Tommy revival was excellent. Not planning to see Water for Elephants. Was never interested in seeing it (or The Notebook). Yes, the Hudson is great theater! I am looking forward to seeing Joy Woods in Gypsy, but was disappointed she stepped away from Ragtime. Very much looking forward to seeing Ragtime! Tony eligibility cut off date is April 27, 2025. Tony noms announced on May 1, 2025. Very excited Operation Mincemeat is transferring from the West End to Broadway, although off Broadway might have been a better choice.
Yeah ☹️ That’s not what I was originally going to comment about, but I found out before I had the chance to comment (but the announcement I was going to comment about is a good one, so maybe I shouldn’t …). Then there’s the Water for Elephants closing news, so you definitely called that.
What a crazy week of Broadway that we lost not only Gavin but also Ken Page
Yes, so tragic.

Hunter Foster is also Sutton Foster's brother!
Wow can’t believe I didn’t put two and two together
