Small world indeed! Loved your podcast BEFORE finding out that this Bryn was my friend’s Bryn lol Keep up the great work ladies, I look forward to hearing all the latest from the great white way xo
Sunset Blvd is a stunning production! Chimpazee is in the classic movie, Sunset Boulevard. Jesse Green doesn’t like the material, but had good things to say about Nicole, et al, in the larger review. Excerpts only tell a partial story.
Kit Connor not performing has been my anxiety dream since I booked my R+J tickets ( and my flights from the UK !lol) back in May! I wont relax until I am in my seat and he steps foot on the stage !!
how much better would back to the future have been if they replaced ALL of the filler music with more Huey Lewis (or even make it fully 80's jukebox). The book part of it is great, because its literally the movie, but all the numbers for the most part are completely forgettable. Or just make it a play w/ those two Huey songs at the end as a gift.
JG is a trillion percent correct! It is boring and full of stunts. It is actually not good. The choreography is a joke. Nicole CANNOT ACT...which os probably whythere are so many stunts. She sounds good but that is absolutely it. Quite frankly she shouldn't even get a nomination for this.
@TheMaltebella I couldn't agree more if I tried. I had spent all year getting excited for the visual overload that this production promised to be; there was next to nothing to feast the eye upon. The best thing this show did was give me a resounding headache, which Nicole sure as hell made worse, though he is capable enough, I guess, as Norma. This production was, IMO, the most disappointing piece of theatre I have EVER seen. It left me so infuriated at the lost opportunities, cuz Jamie Lloyd had a good vision for this! The disgustingly awful execution, however, makes me unable to suggest ANYONE to go see this.

Getting my morning started with some Broadway news 🎭🙌🏾
What a great way to spend a morning!!
So interesting that you brought up how huge the Winter Garden is--and now it will have George Clooney's Broadway show!
