At 27:30 Ray says we can record then later mix our live stream feed. Also BRILLIANT! If I understand correctly, I can either record a band rehearsal or soundcheck and when I have the time playback the recording and mix my channels for our streaming feed.
this was unexpected I love the way you presented the "faith-perspective". I am a Christian (natch!😜). But I have thought seriously and prayed for the Lord to show me how to present the Gospel to adults and kids via livestreaming using my talents and abilities. I was pretty un-technical and struggled with how to make my show I call the Front Porch Rocker happen, but I am starting to get a handle on the engineering side of recording and streaming thanks to posts such as Presonus's. And I appreciate you so much I am thinking maybe it's time to upgrade. I did, however, see a very negative video about your audio minimal headroom on this lady's new mixer-interface which I'd be interested in how you can satisfy her since she is on her second mixer. That video is how I got here since the only mixer I use is an Alesis Mix8. Thanks for all the great info and God bless.

If I have a SL3 24 console and a 32R... can I do the 2 mixer method WITHOUT using the hub in between? That is, can I connect them directly to each other, connect the 32r to a WiFi router for iPad control and FOH mix, and then have the SL3 24 console connected via usb to my computer (and to the 32r directly)?
Hi Doug, Ray and Richard , is there a way to control incoming audio from lets say zoom also via the studio live board? More like a hybrid show. Lets say we have 5 people calling in and we have a live band in the studio and we want to control everything from the studio live mixer including monitoring with the least latency in the monitor mix possible. Audio and Monitor Routing seems to be impossible to control. we tried Wirecast, Ecamm live etc. none of them did a good job. they are all good in video but audio really is a pain in the **** - thanks!

I am the A/V Superman for a small church in Fort Collins Colorado and we just purchased the StudioLive 32 SC and the 16 in stage box. We are also using 16 analog inputs. Today was week 2 and the challenge has been fun, to say the least! At around 15min into your discussion, where I stopped to write this, it's mentioned to use the app on a computer or or new iPad and it appears we can run/mix our stream like having 2 consoles! This is amazing! Do you happen to know if I can attach buds or cans to the iPad and listen to my stream mix?
Hello am using PreSonus studio live 32s and connected it to my iMac 27 inch of 2017 but i get usb connection Errors, it looses connections every 5 to 10 minutes. please tell me whats with my studio live mixer or its the computer not matching up with the mixer?

If it's midi you have to run that through a processor or vst first to have any sound. In other words a midi keyboard doesn't have a preset sound bank, it's essentially just a controller.

Just had a look myself. I'm in interface mode, but selecting : MIX / FX Master - AUX Master ch. Setting (cog wheel ), allows the selected Aux master to switch between interface mode and Local Mode independantly. In Local mode, EQ , Co,pression etc appear available . Give it a go ?
How can I get my mixer (PreSonus 24.4.2) to live stream? We have PC and the Firewire will not do. If I get a 2 channel audio interface how would I connect to it?
I was disappointed as the title of the video didn’t match the content (or at least the expectation it created). A better title would have been Presonus mixer options (and mic considerations) for live-streaming. Unfortunately, getting the audio out of the mixer and actually live-streaming it was NEVER brought up. And is a challenge in Windows with Presonus and Studio One. So not a bad video, just didn’t match the Title topic. And, a video (or better yet a Support article on getting Presonus mixer (in my case a AR12 USB) to Win10 and being able to livestream that (vs analog connection forced to use at the moment) would be appreciated.

I'm curious why they use Matrix instead of an aux mix for live streaming?
More control of the mix. A Matrix is like having a separate mixer, but on the same console.
