While getting to know my recently acquired SL32SC a bit better, I had the same issue as you regarding the playback that automatically stops after a few seconds - even without using that Jog function.
So I simply tried to press that lock button on the touch screen right after hitting play button and... It magically worked!
I don't know if this will work for but I thought you'd like to know.

Do you by any chance have a video on using the Presonus StudioLive to mix a band live on stage at a venue. (FOH Mixing). Or know where to find such a video. I am not so far having any luck with my searches on this subject. Thanks.

Is it just the SD card that gives you some glitching problems or are there other things about this console that's given you some trouble. I really hope Fender and Presonus engineers are listening to come up with a fix to these glitch issues.
So if have usb as my input instead of analog and I’m in s1 does the fat channel get applied when I hit play and listen to the recorded tracks? Is there a button in UC or S1 to switch all the inputs back and forth like in capture?
Thank you so much for doing this video. I had become so frustrated with the various pieces of this not working well together combined with less-then-stellar documentation and support from Presonus and Sweetwater that I'd actually given up on the virtual soundcheck functionality months ago. WIth your video you've inspired me to take another swing at it.
That jog problem is interesting. It's never given us trouble on our 32SX. Maybe it's that 14 track limit issue (coming to bite you back :P) ? Or issues with the SD card?
Also curious if there is a limit of 34 channels for recording in capture. We have a 64s with some nsb stage boxes. We would like to record all channels with capture if possible. I believe the SD card is limited to 34 channels.

Have you done a video on setting up the Cy,matic uTrack 24 as a recording device for live sound from the StudioLive Series III 32 console? I hadn't heard of the uTrack 24 and your idea look great, but how do you get up to 24 tracks of mixer inputs out to the uTrack 24 thru the DB25 cables when the Series III doesn't have direct outs?

Can i use last update of the software universal control with Presonus FireStudio project
Instead of the Jog wheel use the shift and play button to fast forward. Or use the UC Surface app to FFW or RWD
Do you set your channels to pre or post to record ?
Does capture switch scenes automatically between songs ?

The jog function not working is because of an sd card that's too slow for the amount of channels. So yeah, when presonus tells you not to record more then a certain amount of channels during the speed test, dont, get a faster sd card to avoid problems.

There was a point you made that I have a question to. You said that through AVB your mac os can recognize the 32 mixer as an interface. So If I wanted to run a Livestream mix could I use the mac with an output source as my livestream setup? Does this give me separate levels using Universal Control? Can I also incorporate Studio One to enhance my mix with plugins?
In short - yes. Universal Control only remote controls your console. You would need Studio One or another DAW to mix the audio in your computer.

Yes it does. Unless you select post processing on the digital out page
Not sure if you addressed this later or not but the JOG function works just fine for me if i hit stop then go to where i want to hear then press play. also an update could have fixed it. who knows

Hi there, thanks for all your videos. I have a studio/live console! I am wanting to practice singing my parts along with the prerecorded tracks…. I am wanting to record my vocals with the already recorded tracks. However, I can’t find a way to do this. Do you know if this is possible? I checked the manual and couldn’t find anything as well. Please help. Thanks man!
I haven't tried this, but you want to record arm only your vocal channel, and set the playback channels have the input set to SD card.

Yeah it can work. It just shows up as another audio device on your mac.

I know that this video is for the Presonus, but can I basically do the same thing with a USB stick in the Behringer x32?
With the X-USB card on the Behringer, yes. Or with the AES50-USB interface by Klark Teknik

I'm ultimately trying to figure out - so that way I could use rehearsal tracking as a way of building out the FOH mix. or at least a great starting point.

Where can I get some raw unedited multitracks to practice mixing at my house on my daw or at church on the x32?
I have some multitracks available with my online courses, or if you don't mind secular stuff you can check out telefunken mic's live from the lab
