Jinx and Vi are the sisters and they have been in a lot of the League of Legends game trailers. Jinx was introduced in a music video called Get Jinxed which you could watch. You already saw Vi in Warriors, she was the woman in pink hair with the giant gauntlets who fought with the female sniper(Caitlyn), against the big Bane looking guy(Urgot). Caitlyn will also be in Arcane. I hope this video gets all the views!

Actually this series confirms that VI and Jinx are sisters we have been waiting for it for years

@@bjen3273 It was never confirmed so no one "knew" for years lol. We could only speculate.
@@antonmyrberg2434 it was confirmed since their release, since jinxs splashart background is just VIs background but destroyed (hinting at the door of the trailer)
@@antonmyrberg2434 of course it was confirmed it was even a tooltip in the loadingscreen for years and years now. Aside from the splash, the ingame challenges and everything else that not only hints at it, but definitely confirms it.
They always refereed to each other as sister ingame 😅
I remember watching this and tearing up where she says '..are we still sisters?' And then the flashbacks of them as kids to her as an adult as her sister cleans her tear from her cheek. Knowing that uncontrollable circumstances is what drove them to go through two different routes,even though they experienced the same traumas together,one chose to be consumed by it,and the other chose to overcome it. Just too reminiscent of my own bond with my little sister.😢🥺
Hit home pretty hard. You'd go to the ends of the earth to bring them back from the chaos and despair they suffer just to pull them out of it.

Over the years, Jinx has been portrayed as the most crazy, chaotic, criminal, delusional, rebel and trigger happy force of destruction in Zaun and Piltover.
And this fuckers at Riot made me feel empathy and the need to comfort her.
Damn they are good at storytelling. The series will be awesome.
Isn't that how it always is. Unless you knew what people actually went through. You may never actually understand why but you may get to witness the change that they will bring.
I just binged the series in a single day and all I can say is wow... they made Jinx go from the crazy criminal that is basically in it just for the chaos to being a very sympathetic character that makes you go, "SOMEONE PROTECT THIS CHILD!!!"

The design is pretty cool!
It's always nice to see someone who doesn't play the game still genuinely enjoy the lore of it. Their universe page has a lot of great content and world building.
If you knew the character lineup and the individuals watching; shooting the crow was absolutely necessary.
Fiddlesticks controls crows, like the young Stark son from Game of Thrones.
He can see through them.
Swain also is loved by crows
Yeah. Crows are associated with both of those characters, and both of them are seriously bad news. Although seeing through them is more of a Swain thing IIRC. He made a demon deal for knowledge and power, while Fiddlesticks just, is a demon, and kinda just going around snacking on people's worst fears before he kills them.

You should have your finger on the flash hotkey because Fidd is likely about to jump out from behind a bush and pentakill your whole fucking team because top lane fed.
You know Jinx, she has a music video that you've watched and yes we know these characters from the game. Their names are JInx and Vi.
Most characters are champions. Although Silco "the monster", and Mel the top side (Piltover) council lady are new characters.
Edit: Also the masked person riding the hoverboard thing is suspected to be a new champion.

Uh- Isn't the person riding the hoverboard ekko? that's the hoverboard ekko designed, after all. Before (and even when) he invented time travel, he was still inventing stuff and actually had his own gang. You can see it if you look at his legends of runeterra cards.

You've seen the extremely long pigtail haired girl in the "Get Jinxed" video where you appropriately caught her archetype of Harley Quinn (pure chaos). And as for Vi, the pink haired sister with the huge mechanical gloves, she was in the "Warriors 2020" cinematic that you also watched, where she also worked with another character we will see in the show. The series is basically the origin story of both.
I don't want to spoil anything so I kept it short. Them being sisters was a rumor for many years since their release in the game but was never official until not too long ago. I think you'd really enjoyed the show if it is of as high quality as most of their lore. I think your reaction are lovely. Might consider getting your book even though I'm not much of a "book reader" (I mostly read Japanese comics).

Jinx has the face of the girl that everyone want to help but she seems to carry so many hate that she is too broken and will destroy absolutely everything. And even after that everyone will still want to help her...

Yayyyyyyyy!!!!! Im so happy youre hyped for it! The girl with the pink hair is Vi and the girl with the blue hair is Jinx and they will be the main characters of the show and are already established champions in the game and lore, the show will also feature a couple other established champions such as Caitlyn, Jayce, Viktor and Heimerdinger as well as having brand new characters that were made for the show such as the villain Silco (the guy with the funky looking eye). Also the show is set within the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun and will explore the cultural differences and conflicts between them as piltover is full of the rich and powerful who live in luxury while zaun sits buried beneath it full of factories, pollution and crime where people are much poorer and many tend to get sick due to the extreme amount of chemical gas and liquids that exists there.
That's depressing. 😳 Sounds like a great setting for this story tho.

in the game there are champions that has quotes against Jinx with the same meaning
1st is swain, swain is a general of Noxus with a demonic power that can see everyone on runeterra secrets,his quotes against jinx is about the fire and she is the fault
2nd is fiddlesticks, fiddlesticks is a demon that feeds on people's fear, it lures it's victims by mimicking the voices of their love ones, it sometime mimics the last words of it's victims, fiddlesticks quotes against jinx is that it's all her fault
3rd is warwick, warwick is a thug that got abducted by singed, Singed experimented on him (in a gruesome way) until he became a monster, he lose all of his memories only remembering fragment of his memories, his quotes against jinx is that she started the fire
I think this show will explain these and why she became nuts

not much story is inside the game when you play it. but they do have a massive lore on the world where the characters from the game lives in and their own stories from just pure text lore from the website that includes the regions of runeterra, the people and the characters the newer cinematics has more lore behind it now including the music video esque ones those actually happened in the novels and comics, Ive been very excited for this netflix series ever since they announced it also they announced an open world game which would have more stories since its not gonna be a battle arena type of game

idk if its true or not but I found out from google that one of the casts of Arcane was Hailee Steinfeld as Vi.. i cant believe Hailee is voicing her, like the more i watch the trailer, the more i carefully hear Vi's voicelines/dialogue, Vi kinda really does sound like Hailee.. but still, im not sure if it is Hailee as Vi, but if it is, thats kinda amazing ngl
That's her, she's promoting the show on her Instagram account and was officially announced as Vi by Netflix in September I think. An excellent casting choice, in my opinion. Besides being a famous actress her previous voice projects were really really good.

Yes Jinx and Vi are playable in league of legends. They are sisters, I could say more but that was the only question you asked about so I won't break that hype. Also the lady with the sniper rifle who says that "she's too far gone" is also a playable hero, her name is Cait. They have an Instagram with posters of the main cast (or most of it) in the there if you want know them more. Aside of these 3 though, at least 3 more appeared, the two young guys who were testing on the small electric crystal, the one who said that they can harness the power is Jayce, the other one is Viktor and the small creature with huge hair and mustache is a yordle, his name is Heimerdinger. The people who play the game, myself included, are hyped because there are much more characters from these two places that arcane is gonna be all about, unanswered questions and overall from manic psychos to selfless heroes and almost anything in between.
Edit: Cait is a nickname, Caitlyn is the full.
It is all based on lore. :3 the lore is written as characters are released. It is obvious that they create some characters well before they come out due to said lore.

I've been playing multiple hours of games a day since 1980, and I don't really watch shows.
Or game trailers, for that matter.
It eats into time I could have been actively participating in the medium instead.
In fact, in games that have less than stellar narratives, I tend to skip all cutscenes.
Having said that, watching you watch trailers is somehow entertaining. XD

Most things are already covered in other comments... But just on the unnecessary bit... With the Crow... One of the Noxian leaders uses crows as spies... Now i'm not sure if this is the reason why Jinx shoots it cause I think timeline wise he doesn't have this ability yet.

It's ironic that you said you didn't like games and want to be a passive observer, considering that the Universe of League of Legends is only told via text, comics and videos, the actual game doesn't tell a story.
