The show is about 2 orphaned sisters living in a dual city of slums and the upper rich part. Showcases a handful of champions from the game and tells a really amazing interconnected story in 9 episodes. took 6 years to make :) Definitely check it out.

I'm not an anime fan or a fan of animated shows in general, so when I say that this was one of the best shows I've EVER seen that should tell you something!

I'm now on my third watch. This think is an absolute masterpiece.
I also recommend Georgia Dow's content on Arcane. She's a therapist and she highlights a lot of details I would have otherwise missed around character interactions.

Arcane is 10/10. it is a masterpiece. non of the scenes you saw in this video are in the show. Its all talored for this and fits inside the story. Crazy.
I'm glad you watched this, JID absolutely bodied this song. Don't sleep on league though fam they also did songs with Denzel Curry and (small spoiler) there is a Pusha T song in a fight scene of Arcane as well. I've played league for a long time and they've definitely stepped up not only their game but the entire universe and production value of everything they do.

I enjoy your focus on the lyrics and wanting to understand what is being said in the videos. Reading alongside hearing helps me as well. Also holy cow this is the best television show of 2021 plz watch I'm watching the interactions between the two sisters and also the girl and her best friend growing up in this video it hits so hard after you know the context.

@@Risktakerjodi I never played the game, and this show is honestly my favorite I watched in 2021. All the characters and plot don't need any context from playing the game. And don't get me started on the songs holy cow from Imagine Dragons, to Sting it is a great OST.
Now i have your reaction to Arcane to look forward too. Dont worry about music copyright with Arcane reactions because Riot and Netflix did a deal where they allow reactors to use the music without getting copyright striked. Riot has always allowed their music to be used by reactors and such risk free

Ya this is the same studio that made the show, so it's basically new scenes in the same style, made just for this video. Unlike most movie music vids where they just use clips from the movie.

Arcane is an AMAZING show! It definitely deserves to be the first ever show to have won 9 annies awards. Maybe some other older show but I don’t think any show has won 9 annies before

"Arcane" takes place in dual cities of Piltover and Zaun. Piltover is the upper city where rich people live. But Pailtover lives at the expense of Zaun, poisoning its air and drainining its resources just because people from Piltover are rich and powerful enough to beat the lower city of Zaun into submission.
The story is about two sisters from the lower city: Vi and Powder. Crimes are commited. People get locked in prison. Other people die. Both Piltover and Zaun have very dark parts that get exposed. But mainly the story tells you how Powder, that blue haired girl, became what she is in League of Legends canon universe.
And it's not a happy story at all. Not. One. Bit.
Get ready for one hell of a ride. And from what we know - season 2 is gonna be even darker and wilder than the first.
