Agree totally. Christopher Hitchens & Douglas Murray are my 2 most magnificent heroes. Unrivalled brilliance. Both superb orators.

Can you imagine if Hitchens were still alive? He and Murray would be a power house of intellect and eloquence against any would-be debaters.

I still listen to Hitch a lot, its like being in a permanent lecture, with a remote mentor. There are others I regard and rate… but he makes more sense to me than any else ever has. Douglas is cut from a similar cloth, but aside from the obvious talents he had, I think it’s Christophers charm and compulsive sociability is what marks him out. Hitch lives on through his ideas. What a total dude..😎🙌❤️

'What a piece of work is man,
    How noble in reason
    How infinite in faculty
In form and moving how express and admirable,
In action how like an angel
In apprehension how like a God'
These words for my beloved Christopher and Douglas. I could not live without their wonderful influences ❤

"If only Hitchens was alive today..." has become a common TH-cam mantra. And through TH-cam he has become bigger after his death than when he was still among us. He was a prominent voice in the last years of his life, but since he passed he has become omnipresent.
And yes, Douglas Murray has certainly become his "successor": Fearless, sharp, well-read, eloquent and relentless.

The same Hitchens wisdom that saved me from the ideological constraints of the old religion (Christianity), also inoculated me against the woke religion. The new atheists are invaluable in the fight against today’s extremists as well; they are hardly to be blamed for them.
Mr. Murray is such a welcome voice in the din of today. Excellent interview!

I love the Australian skill for calling out bullshit, I haven’t been there in years so please don’t tell me this has lessened.

Unfortunately it has lessened but not with me as an Aussie. I piss other Aussies off constantly.

The barbarians will not invade until someone holds open the gates of the city. Oh Christopher, you'd be called a prophet in another age.

Both Hitchens and Murray brilliantly highlight the problem Islam but neither have given the solution.

There isn't one that can be pushed, only when it's to late will the useful idiots wake up. Every Western country will become like Israel only who holds the balance of power will be less clear as the laws necessary to shut those up who point out the problem will be in place. Think Scotlan and the Labour party in the UK.

Douglas Murray tries way too hard to emulate Christopher Hitchens. If it was recorded music he would be sued.

The Australians might not have had time for all that bullshit, but then the Australian police made them have the time.

I had to listen again - yes, Murray was really asked to comment on Hitchens’ assertion that anal sex was one of life’s overrated things! My dear boy 😜
