I'll definitely be grabbing it once I beat the first. Soon for sure soon. I'm on a weird horror like FPS binge in the backlog. Just finished Prey 2006 and playing Singularity now for the first time ever.
Nice video bro, one of my biggest issues with the first game is that due to the artstyle the combat didn't feel as heavy or punchy as I would have loved it to be. But this game seems to improve that, though I did enjoy the first game a lot. I just hope the story goes somewhere and does not rely on the "everything is in your head" cliche
Very promising. Looking forward to full release, I’m sure the story will still get fleshed out. Really hoping for cut scenes. The voice acting in the first one was slightly off key but I liked it .
Nice touch in the end there actually; and I loved this game, I think we're on the same page with most of the things the game tries to do, I would LOVE to see more about this story; I'm convinced the priest has a split personality, and EVERYTHING is inside his head now.
Quite enjoyed the first game and this one looks very good too but im not sure if its worth the money right now. Ill definitely still keep an eye on it. Great review man.
I love the art style and the guns are quite satisfying too use. The gasmask gunners with the green projectiles are infuriating to shoot on controller tbh.
This looks like a vast improvement to me. I didn't enjoy the first game. And it was almost exclusively because it wasn't very fun to shoot things. You know, the thing you do the most? The enemies had so few animations, coupled with the artstyle it felt like I was shooting cardboard cutouts of monsters. Not actual threats. It was really unsatisfying.
I HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD. The developers added two new weapons, a few new spells, and NEW LEVELS, YEAH🤩. Be fore warned though, they are going to be tough. I just played them and they ramped up the difficulty.
I would have loved to see the Diablo2-esque skill tree system come back with improvements. More risks from the Devs in character progression and development, and add optional ways for resetting the tree for casual players. Other than that, decent looking game. Again I kind of wish the devs took more risks, because it does look a little sparse. But it's decently priced I think, for what it is. I'm gunna wishlist and get it eventually. Thanks for the review.
I had a question about performance on your end. I'm aware it's early access and performance aspects will be improved, but it sort of spooked me to be playing at 90fps 1440p and going from 80w draw to 220w when I go into outside areas. This deterred me from going to 120 and tuned it down to 60. Did you experience anything like this on your end? (I have a 4070 ti for context) Otherwise, great video and I enjoy what this improves over the first so far. Apologies for the rambling comment. I may delete it. XD
Please don’t delete your comment it helps for the algorithm lol I did not notice anything like that during my playthrough but to be honest I wasn’t keeping that close of an eye on my video card stats while playing. Also my capture card is locked at 60 so I don’t go higher than that while recording. I’ll try to remember to pop back in and check tho. Im rocking a 3080 for reference. It doesn’t hurt to hit up the devs in the steam forums for this kind of stuff either!
Just picked up the first one and wanted to see if the second one was worth it but meh no skill tree seems kinda meh. I don't like the weapon system in this one so i'll keep to the first one.
These are the gamers i like but i want them to look with proper next gen visuals they always make them looking retro like war hammer boltgun. Sprites and lack of frame animation like the classic doom games why i dont play them shame they do look fun but visually not nice to look at to old looking even though it been made today
Is there a reason you take fall damage now , what an odd thing to add into the game. Plus i hope they add a character model viewers, that bugged me about the first game most of the late game enmities moved that quick you couldn't even get a look at the 2D sprite work.

JUST GET IT! lol
Have you seen the trailer for Twisted Tower by chance?
@ShotofCyanide1 Sure, have I've been following it for a few years .
Have done :D @@ShotofCyanide1
You would love darkness 2

The madness system reminds me of the Tarot Card system from Painkiller: a customizable, limited buff, which you can activate whenever you please.

Thank you!
This was great! Solid review as always Kirk! :D
Another great boomer shooter from Polish devs 👍
Thanks for always bringing the goods Kirk 🙏
Thanks for the comments and views!

I enjoyed the first one, gonna check this one out too.

Loved the first. Giving it some time to get out of beta then I plan on picking it up.

i love the cultic route they took with the sequel every gun has a punchy feel
Since you reviewed Terminator: Resistance a while ago, will you review RoboCop: Rogue City? It's from the same devs and comes out in two weeks.
I'm going to try, I dug the demo. The guns feel insane.

Great video
Reminds me of Duke Nukem :) ahh that takes me back... WIth a DOOM FEEL

I've heard that this game using a Unreal engine 5. So of course there will be drops of fps. Ue5 is really too heavy for pc spec in this moment.

Adding Reloading was smart. I hate when Games have no Reload.
Melee only challenge runs :D
Does the early access build perform better than the demo? The demo had lots of microstutters when I played
Yes, I touch on it in the video.
They took out the story to focus on the gameplay. To show that gameplay is more important than story.

I hope that this gets a ps5 release.
And also I hope it runs better on Ps5 then the first one, what a shame the optimization was.

first view?
Looks like it!
so by review you mean spoilt the story for the first few missions.
Why are you talking?
