Jack I do believe you like your Supro's! LOL Me too, from my tiny lil 5W Delta King to the 50W Statesman and the rest inbetween. Will say the biggest surprise and still one of my FAV amps is the (now extinct) Statesman. Versitility off the charts and really like having thee amps in one. If you ever get a chance to pick one up or borrow one, would LOVE to hear your take on it. Back to now, hope you'll be checking out the Amulet on your channel. The second Dave said based off the old "Comet", count me in. Cheers
So can you please tell me does this have more clean headroom than a 65 Princeton or is it the same volume sort of break up point in volume? It sound great by the way
The site says this : Supro Blues King amplifiers are made in China. All other Supro tube amp models made between January of 2014 and July of 2020 were assembled in Port Jefferson, NY USA It's confusing.. Are only the Delta Kings built in China? Or all the Supro amps made in China since 2020? Thanks to clarify please!
@@Supro_USA OK thanks. Well I've just received the Supro Amulet and I must say l'm totally blasted by the sound and versatility of it. The most musical amp I've ever owned. The EQ dimed even gets to sort of plexi territory, and everything in between is lush, punchy and swampy if you want. I get a beautiful jazz tone with my ES-135, it takes OD pedals beautifully, awesome for blues or soul R&B stuff.. Congrats on this own, very happy of my purchase!!
Think there is a lot to like here. Unfortunately the D'Angelico's used in the demo sort of have their own thing happening and is hard to tell what this would sound like with Strat or Les Paul (the Tele got a bit lost in the mix). Concept of the different guitar parts used to show off the attenuater settings in this song, although good in theory somehow missed the mark. Would like to see a few more demos, showing different (fairly common) guitars and genres of music. This seams to have an awful lot to offer, please do some more demo vids. Think ya may have a real winner here, really like the speaker choice . Cheers
Hi there! You should check out our official Amulet demo where we run through different tones with various models, including a Telecaster, featuring an assortment of pickup types. th-cam.com/video/Fj6YgaE-Is8/w-d-xo.html
Question concerning the valves. The power valve is 6L6 or 6L6GC? Can you put either tube in the Amulet Also, can you use the lower rating 5881 power valve ? Would it be ok to test this one without damaging the amp? Also, no problem putting a 5751 preamp tube in V1? Asking this because I have access to a bunch of tubes and would like to test My Amulet has power volume variations.. One time I start it the max volume is lower, and the overall sound is excellent, and other times the sound is way louder and the sound is harsher and less compressed I suspect a faulty tube.. Any recommendations?
Is this Supro a fully hand-wired amplifier and no PCB? It seems all the amplifier sellers/makers promote TUBE but not really wanting to go with the full Hand Wired Specification. All of my 1960s Amplifiers have hand wiring and still work great, some have tube rectifiers and a few don't use tube rectification. All this means is that there is a giant amount of money to be made in today's guitar amplifier market thus there are about 50 different brands and over a thousand models to choose from as this is a buyers markets but the quality is the sacrifice from what I have experienced I the last 57 years. If you want quality you have to purchase boutique/handmade priced amplifiers. The Solid State market really offers much more to the teen market or beginner adult market. Marshall just sold out to a Swedish company yesterday 4.1.2023 so perhaps more innovation from Marshall's sink into the chugging amplifier market which is drying up. This demo being mostly talk should be good evidence of ( marketing ) not reality.
.... My Eastman acoustic is way better built than my Gibson acoustic.. And my Eastman semi holliw is way better built than my Gibson.. I'm talking about 2022 built instruments.. You gotta open your mind and be honest. China built quality gear does not mean, by today's standards, crappy build. And you have to remind yourself that China has been building everything, instruments, electronics, way before USA.. If they are asked to build high quality, they will be better than anyone, like Japan craftsmanship.. So saying, made in China = crap is just a very narrow-minded vision..
@@rodolphep0nthus555 That's not at all what I said. Pretty much all of my guitars are MoC these days. Why? Because the Chinese manufacturers invested massively in CNC equipment. They're able to churn out infinite numbers of pretty near perfect guitars (in terms of wood and finish) at a fraction of the cost. That's what I'm complaining about. I just picked up an exact replica of a Strandberg -- probably made in the same factory, with exactly the same parts (except the pickups) for 300 euros.
@@M_C79 well in this case why are you saying it's way too expensive for Chinese build? High end Eastman guitars cost 3000 €.. Mid range are from 800 to 2000.. This is a mid range amp compared to Carr, Tone King, Dr Maz, Two Notes, which fetch 3000 tp 5000 bucks Most Fender amps are now built in China (look at the Tonemaster series.. I had the Princeton Tonemaster , made in China.. It's 900 bucks for a digital chinese build, and sounds nowhere near the real thing.. It just doesn't) Your comment is just a simple thought without any justification.. You just bash Chinese manufacturing.. It doesn't make any sense. I see hundreds of comments like this on gear TH-cam videos, that to me are just imperialist nonsense Beware if you think China manufacturers are inferior beacause the US is "Supreme Made in USA".. We might be surprised in the future If you ask Chinese to build superior gear, better than US, they'll do it How can you say that Supro hasn't asked superior manufacturing to the Chinese factory? Look at the PRS SE Indonesian build that just squeezes Mexican made Strats.. It's just tiring to see such narrow minded comments, thrown in one sentence when you just don't know what you're talking about
@@M_C79 and just to add. I bought a Fender Tonemaster Princeton Reverb. I sent it back. The breakup was just mushland.. Cleans were ok I bought a Vox AC10C1.. Was just too bright. I now the Top Boost channel is bright, but compared to another amp, impossible to take out the overly high trebly sound Those are China built, 555€ (Vox), and 900€ (Tonemaster), and well built. Just not my thing. And they are pretty cheap if you consider gow US built amps go for.. It hasn't kept me from ordering this Supro today, because I'm confident with the manufacturing. I’d love to be able to buy the neon sign too!
Idk about the sign but my Amulet came with a t shirt
Amazing sounding amp. I love the open tone.
I have no idea what this guy is talking about but.....that amp sounds great 👍
he's basically saying "this is the supro princeton"
Love this

Hey there! Send us an email at support@suprousa.com and our customer service representative will be able to address all of these questions for you!
If that was a 6v6 Power stage it would be my thing.
Do I really need to watch sponsored ads before watching an advert for something l want to buy?

10” speaker NEXT
Would have been nice to hear how the amp's dynamics respond to varying pick attack. Most of the playing was kinda one dimensional in that respect.
Agreed. I didn't hear any fat, but tight, rock tones.
@@Blkojo I wanted to like it but it all sounded a bit fizzy and overbiased. Something wasn't right.
Competition with the Princeton and AC15?
God dammit I had *just* made up my mind about getting the Delta King 10
