Vince's energy and passion comes through the camera so well; man, it didn't even feel like a 50 minute video and I want more Shelby content! Great work Larry as always!
Dude I have always wanted a Shelby of any kind really but seeing this series has made me want one even more. Seeing how he and the team still cares like Carroll did is just amazing. The amount of detail that goes into these cars is amazing. They just don't throw big numbers at it and let it go. Doin stuff like this will keep Carroll Shelby alive forever and that's awesome. Just plain sick. I thank him for letting you come in and do these videos. It was great to see what goes on behind the doors in "the box".
im a mustang gt owner (my firsrt car), but i'm also into the jdm world. i moved to the states 7 yrs ago from hk, it's really nice to see you cover the asia car culture and then the mustang! add oil (加油)!
Love these Shelby videos. They’ve been such a huge name in car culture for so long, most people only know about a 1/3rd of the things they’ve been involved in. Like Cosworth, that’d be another awesome feature if you haven’t covered them already. They’ve got more of a history in JDM than a lot of people realize.
That CSX is just collecting dust, they should 100% put that in the Shelby museum they have there instead while they figure out what to do with it. That was one of the highlights of the video for sure, that car is so cool!
@xXDoUbLeDD, not sure why you keep saying They, it’s Vince’s car not the companies but still has Carroll Shelby on the title . He can do what he wants with it he is the owner of it 😎.
Great interview. To have the vp take the time to thoroughly show you so much of the shop and us, was a real treat. It gives me the fever again. I need a mustang it’s been many years since I owned one. Thanks Larry
Another awesome video Larry. Love the interview, Vince was a wonderful person during the interview! Shelby as a whole is an amazing company, love the BTS!
Probably the coolest walk through on the internet, with awesome vibes. I was so into the video, that I didn’t even realize 53mins had passed. Super cool video. Vince seems like such an awesome individual as well.
Not a mustang guy but this gave me a lot of respect for them, and this add on, and package is so raw and badass also a really good video on Larry's part 3rd time watching this video.
I had stock 2016 GT350 and zdyno tuning brought rear tire Hp from 394 to 500hp. The car came truly alive. I loved every minute I owned it. I would wake up in the middle of the nihht just to go spin up a few miles, then I could go to sleep.
Great video! I had toured the old shop at the speedway but not this one. I owned a 2016 Terlingua and right now my 2020 500 is out there being converted to a KR. In fact that’s my engine with the red Whipple at 12:38 of the video. Now I have a much better understanding of the process and more respect for the brand. I should have my KR back in a couple of weeks and this just made me even more excited.
its amazing how Shelby still cares for old cars, even if its out of their scope by time. but still cater them even they aren't worth much in todays standard.
Really enjoyed this. I have a 2019 GT350 and love everything about it. It was fascinating to hear what they would do to if it went through their line. Driver’s car.
@@jessenitzske8617 so every car w a csm was 100% build at/by shebly then right? It's not like they're just using ford's and PUTTING a csm on em right? That would kinda invalidate the whole it's not a shebly thing since shelby is using a Ford. And, furthermore, it's just poor marketing to say, well ya we let ford use the name but it's meaningless. @@pjbiggleswerth8903 The car doesn't have to be a 100% Shelby build but to be a true Shelby, Shelby American has to build on the car. Period! All of these mustangs are cool but don't be delusional as to what the truth is.
I remember the Dodge Shelby limited edition. It came in Silver with Blue exterior Pin stripes that were thick and thin designed accents 👌. This a was around 1986
Shelby also made a Shelby Omni turbo if it hasn’t already been said a friend of mine had one in High School and we’d cruise HWY100 ❤ and that little car absolutely screamed for what it was!❤
Nice Carroll Shelby personal car that him an L. Iacoca built together that's why Carroll added Iacoca to later on models. That's cool and then know the owner drives the cars he builds. Seller knows what his selling is really good deal. That's what Carroll liked doin driving the cars he built is the resemblance. Super Snake are the best. Nice vid!
It's crazy but I had that same idea years ago about different sounding engines via pre recordings hooked up to speakers and the accelerater as the volume😂
As a C6 Corvette owner and plans to make her a 700 HP manual fun weekend toy I feel my next toy with be either a 1LE Camaro ZL1 or the Shelby GT500. I’m proud to say I can broaden my horizon on my dream stable.
I believe that Shelby also built dodge Daytonas !!! This kid is literally walking in every man's dream garage, he isn't old enough to even grasp the greatness that he is surrounded by a once in a lifetime opportunity

I am somewhat surprised by how Shelby did not take on the opportunity and start making a version similar to the offroad Lamborghini Huracaan. Not talking about a well-lifted Shelby Mustang but about the one that is of that is a bit higher but only to accommodate the sort of tire you would use offroad and an undercover plate, more headlights, strength, and wider on the axels but not the fenders, and similar. Like a rally car but not Baha-type would look like today with Shelby's vision. Maybe even try to make 50 with all-wheel drive and a metal cage to the bumper to protect the frame upon impact. Even a cage outside the top with light would do some visual damage to the public.
How incredible, I love to see it all done by craftsmen instead of robots. Edit: All these wonderful colors and that kids-toy blue is the most popular. I don't personally get that one.

I'm heading to Vegas this August for sure I'm going to their museum.
I'm headed to Vegas to go through there scrap bends. Ahhh come on...
Gary’s CSXL Shelby, that’s still registered to Carroll, is worth more than any other vehicle in that warehouse for sure!
Unless there’s a OG Cobra sitting in there somewhere. Lol

Glad to see the csx getting some love! I happen to own #152 out of 500 made. This video makes me appreciate the csx even more!

The bottom line is,
"IF YOUR GT500 DOESN'T HAVE A CSM NUMBER, IT'S NOT A SHELBY."
