- Have you ever wondered how much it would cost to live in a different country? I love watching what I eat in a week videos from different countries but I'm always left curious thinking how much monthly expenses would be. My biggest splurge is always on food. This week I definitely ate out a lot because there were many special days spent with family, but I think it's an accurate range of what I spend in a week for groceries & restaurants.
Hope you enjoyed this one! Was a woozy to edit bc it was so long 😮💨😮💨😮💨

I'm curious to know how much you spend in a week on food+ groceries living in your country!
Astonishing. I spent about 100 dollars a week on food in my country. USA.
literally around $800-900/m CAN
About 150€ in my country. Latvia 🇱🇻😍
In Minnesota, USA, I spend maybe $60 - $75 per week as a single person. But I tend to buy a lot of fresh produce and beef/pork/chicken as opposed to shelf-stable options, so that's probably why it's a little pricy. I can afford to splurge on fresh produce and meat as a college student because I have online college courses, I work full-time, and I have close to no rent/utility expenses since I'm living at home.
FREE CAUSE IM ASIAN AND I LIVE WITH MY PARENTS AT 23. HEHE so I pay with my mental health.
I love how hard you and your mom worked on your relationship it’s so inspiring, I remember when you posted about barely seeing her and having a lot of trouble being with each other. But now you literally went out on a mother daughter date twice in the same week, and you talk, and hug and giggle, this is so beautiful I’m so fucking happy for you
a 45 minute video all about what she eats in a week?? mealtime entertainment is served.
THIIIISSSS 🎉🎉🎉🎉 This OG Tina is what we missed!!! Comfort meals cooking, grocery shopping, and a ton of mama Dooby!!! Please these types of videos could be 3 hours long and we wouldn’t complain 😊❤
YESSS THE GARLIC QUENN POSTED👑👑👑
💀💀💀💀💀💀
Noo she's the CABBAGE QUEEN.
Man if that kimchi was too garlicky even for dooby i wonder how many kilos of garlic there was??!!!😮😮😮

45min? Hats off to the content and the editing efforts!! Looking for more such content❤❤
Okay now we need a collab with Kevin and Ollie(Jolly) learning korean to see who is better 😂😂😂
Ollie has like 7 years of Korean practice on Kevin and…..even then you know it’s not going to be Ollie 🤣🤣🤣
@@nutellalatte7522 lmaooo poor ollie hahahha 🤣
By the way, if Kevin's having stomach trouble - if you're a Nordic (or maybe anyone else at that) suffering from occassional IBS kind of symptoms in Asia, try and take an allergy medicine to see if that helps with the symptoms. I found out I was allergic to very specific types of mushrooms after suffering from constant bouts of stomach ache whenever I was in Asia. Turns out woodear mushroom (kikurage in Japan) is not something that agrees with my digestive system, even though I really like mushrooms usually. And that damn allergy snuck on me over time, because earlier I could eat such mushrooms without noticing ill effects.
seriously the only vlogger that i finish from beginning to end of a 45 mins video 😅 without skipping and even rewinding some parts. love lots tina! from philippines.
I didn’t even realise I finished watching 45mins of Tina, content is always top tier 😩
Honestly the only page I can sit and watch an hour long video without getting bored. These vlogs are literal me time therapy.
I love itt
Was about to sleep but needed to finish watching this video first🥹ps I was the HK girl in the marinated crab shop !!!! It was great seeing you🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I'm from Mexico. I've never expected to hear the national anthem in a dooby video hahaha :D and you should really plan that trip to Oaxaca! is truly amazing! Also, those tacos looked insanely good!
21:30 Bravo Kevin for your courage + efforts in learning korean !! It looks so different than english and danish !! Keep going !!
Korean and Mexican fusion cuisine is literally some of the best! They compliment each other so well.
I AGREE
Right bit both of this cousins should develop dishes without using so much unnecessary frying
Wow!! what an epic episode. Non stop cooking, eating and tons of food details and descriptions. Blew me away. 😋 In fact, this is why your channel stands head above all other Korean food channel. It's your unique combo. It's hard to make me hungry from watching food-logs, but god-dang it, I am lusting for some Korean food but it's 9:21pm in SF CA and they're all closed. Going to make me some bacon spam, green onion and Kimchi fried rice for now.
PS: Great to see the folks and family dinner unity.
This is probably one of the most entertaining videos I’ve watched in a while. She’s back
Tell kevin about anki flashcards!! so much better than handmade
Im just a mexican girl watching a corean girl cook all the dishes i love while washing the dishes, so basically im in my confort zone, and suddenly the mexican anthem starts? Hahaha made my day.
GILR 45 MINS? I GUESS I WILL JUST POSTPONE MY SLEEP AND WATCH IT. EDITING IS TOP NOTCH MAMA. PS- Kevin is very cute while learning korean.
Tinaaaaa, ojalá puedas venir algún día al estado de Veracruz, nuestra gastronomía te encantará! Muchas gracias por querer tanto nuestra cultura, i hope to see you one day here! ❤
Ps. If you ever come to Veracruz “tienes tu casa aquí”, which literally means that you have somewhere to stay with and you are welcome :)
YES MAKE THAT SANDWICH FOR US! I’ve always been infatuated with it. I watch Roha make it which is another Korean stay at home mom/ chef make it. It looks so good!
man Kevin needs to rest. I am a chef myself and now how the pressure work and determination is but stay healthy guys
YAY MOMMY DOOBY FEEDING US WITH GOOD CONTENT ❤
We do love long formats!! Thank you for all the work you put into your videos. Bisous!
Dooooobyyyy hitting us with vlog similar in length to a tv show, what a blessing
I feel like something about you is different, calmer, softer… Your energy seems peaceful, even the way you speak to Kevin, and it’s very nice to see this part of you… Maybe it’s having your parents back in your life or maybe it’s something else, but it’s very pleasant 🥰
Sorry, I'm confused the 1st day is Friday and Kevin is working at the restaurant and next day you said he's back from Denmark, is this not 7 consecutive days?
Just wanna ask something coz that was shocking for me
You used pork meat you roasted while making kimchijjigae after 4 5 days
How!! Isn't that stale now..... Like 4 5 days old food
Loooooved the Mexican anthem, and I also think that both Korean and Mexican cuisine have similarities, and I was surprised to see how it can be perfectly combined with the kimchi birria that you made
could you make a video talking about the pans and other kind of kitchenware you use? :) thank you!
I’ve been rewatching your old videos this week and was really hoping for a new food vlogggggg. Ehehehe so excited to watch this. ❤❤❤❤❤
Another thing I really appreciate Tina about is the fact that she’s very culturally sensitive and aware. She doesn’t just say everything is Korean.
Whoooaaaa 45 minutes video. Keep doing it 😁🎉
hey doobie, what is the best marinated crab place you’ve been to?! Visiting seoul soon. thanks!! 🫶🏼❤
Tina! Can you share where you got your coat? It's the one you're wearing at 4:45 in the video. Maybe you could make a video sharing your favorite pieces in your closet?
I really enjoyed this. Am happy for you that you're happy and had a good week with the Fam. Can defo tell with your happy vibes and how you dance again while cooking and eating... HAPPY FOR YOUUUUU!!!!!
Guys, please don't use leek for this recipe. The leek she meant is a different type of scallion or spring onion that is common in Korea.
The taste is very different from Western Leek.
So if you use leek in this recipe, the taste will be different, it's better to use spring onion or scallion instead of LEEK.
Hello Dooby Queen love your cooking and food videos hopefully can visit your country soon! 🤩👊
Only mama dooby can make me watch a 45 minute video within an hour of dropping it
Momyyyy I aceept that last kiss on my face☺☺
9:09 waiting for this recipe because it LOOKS SO TASTY
A 45 min Doobiy video with a grocery store thumbnail? My night just got better
i was born in Bangladesh but living in different country and going to move another country in a week for school :)) so ill tell the where i have seen a side from my Childhood where my parents live now, Its 50$ a week which is 5k in our currency taka.. Good to see you again dooby and i enjoyed your goofy $$ videos so muchhhh i never skip instead i re-play funny parts 😂 need doobydoo in life so at least i can smile for a moment :)
I am shocked at the food prices in the grocery store. Restaurants here are basically double to triple food cost. Looks like you can get a decent meal for under 5$. Ill tell you right now, you cant get any good food for 5$ here.
The lack of chapter markers discourages me from watching since its a 45 minute commitment - quick note for the editor
People Don’t understand the Danish humour, it’s very black and sarcastic, without emotions..
TINA, can you tell us what camera you using nowadays to film your vlogs!? you use to put that info in the description but havent seen them in there recently!
will i watch this 45 min long video even though i have to study? yes. just for dooby.
omg you have only child syndrome? 😱 I have eldest daughter syndrome 😞 not recommended
I just noticed you switched your office/editing room and bed room!
Hi Dooby! you look a lot like Bora from Sistar. I love how calming your videos are, keep it up!
I'm out of words, I can only say I love you Tina, I hope good things always accompany you ❤
God i love the food you make❤😂
I feel like I’m behind, do you guys still have the restaurant?
FkTina, you make it again! Your storytelling is so amazing.... For real, thank you for your work, I really really enjoy your videos!
Loved this video! It's crazy how cheap food in Korea is vs. the US :'( A random side note: would love more Kevin content! Maybe like a q&a, I'm very curious how Kevin is doing living in a completely foreign country! So cute seeing him learn Korean
aww!! I just loved this video. The Kimchi birria tacos looked soooo similar to normal qusabirrias. Hope one day you come to Mexico City!! Hi from Mexico.
My fav! Loved everything about this vlog! Esp Ke-bin's korean lessons!🥰
This is probably SO random… but from someone who has recently found a love for cooking… could you share your must haves for the kitchen? Knives, tools, ingredients etc? Love from Australia!
I need to find a recipe for the soup, the one described as korean wanton soup. That is an absolute necessity! Looks and sounds sooooo good. 😊
Not wanting to leave the house is so real!
I really really enjoy watching your cooking videos 😄 it almost makes me want to come live with you so that I can taste all the different Korean dishes😋
Kevin being the passeger princess got me💀
Love Kevin in the vloggs. Hi from sweden!! 🙋♂️
OMG 😱 my daughter and I were diagnosed with only child syndrome tooooo. We thought we were the only ones. 😊 ours consists of high maintenance often spoiledness and all of the above ✌🏽 weee love ❤️ you doobydobap ❤
My brother is 9 years older and moved states as soon as he graduated high school while I was still in elementary school. So unfortunately I think I became infected with only child syndrome as well with a little bit of abandonment thrown in there for good measure.
how she beautiful at any angle
My layover from Thailand was in Seoul I went to that exact restaurant. Was the first one in line... 10/10. I wish I had a longer time in seoul to eat more of the food.
That vlog was great. You are super talented.
Dooby is treating us yayyy, 'it's like a reward'...
Doobydobap I really like the idea of the ‘kimchi birria tacos’ and you made the consomé (juice) so tasty looking 🫣😍😋
I fell in loveeee with that Myeongdong Gyoza kimchi... I stayed only two blocks away! There also is that hidden alley dumplings/soups spot that's open at 5am or something behind the Mcdonalds! Thanks for reminding me of that special meal~
LOVE THIS LOOOONG FORM FOOD & LIFE VLOG!!! SHE BACKKKK
I’m so glad u said that thing about birria reminding u of kimchi jjigae. I’m Mexican and I remember having kimchi jjigae for the first time and thinking it kinda tasted like birria😆
I'm an italian student who just came back from an exchange at Hanyang University in Seoul and so I wanted to see if I could recognize the spots you would go during the video.. and OMFG literally the first shot of you driving and shopping is right in front of where I lived. That's crazy! Especially for how big Seoul is!
You are an artist and very entertaining
Put your hand up if you went back to hear the Koop song you and me by jennie ✋
I live in southern Mexico (San Cristobal in Chiapas) and barely spend money b ut I don't go out much and cook at home most days. I spent $5 today on fruit and veggies, maybe $40-50 a week. If I go out for tacos I may spend $5-9 USD. You would like Oaxaca, it is known for having good food. Chiapas, not as much as the indigenous don't like their food as spicy. Oh and your comment on Birra with lime reminding you of Kimchi-jjigae reminded me of when I went to Seoul back in 2018 . A friend I met at the hostel was from the same area of Pennsylvania and we both remarked how much the Kimchi and pork stew at this diner in Hongdae tasted like the Polish stews we had growing up. Food and memory are a trip. :)
LOVE watching you. Nothing beats watching 45mins of a beautiful Korean woman kicking ass at cooking. Great job at editing. Looking forward to more!
Just received my apron the other day, I LOVE IT
the mexican national anthem TOOK ME OUT loved the video!!
shes still working on her day off filming... hope it doesnt get too much for her one day. Everyone deserves free time

Her posts always makes my day
I'm earlyyy to the garlic queen's post omg
Dang 60 dollars is enough for MAYBE two days of food in the states
This video above all others you’ve done amazed me and had me asking……….”who edits these videos for her”? 10 minutes from the end, I got the answer. WOW! Talent off the chain! Dooby, you’re da 💩……in the best way. 🙏🏾
Insane quality + you're f-ing glowing!
