    Apologies for the delay. As you can imagine the module's under development, things are changing around a bit slowing down video. But also changes are being made in response to video work, as small issues are found by SMEs checking the video!

      Can you give a rough order of what systems will be covered in future videos? (Not times obviously of when they will be available but just so we know what will be coming next). Also any idea when a early access manual will be available?

    I know you've put it in a reply somewhere, but I really *REALLY* appreciate you putting in the extra time (and effort) to make the sections of cockpit you are talking about highlighted.
    It makes understanding and getting to grips with both the cockpit and the procedure SO MUCH more intuitive, and you don't have to constantly check where everything is, because the video showcases it very clearly.
    Really really appreciate them :)

    That TACAN bearing distance feature is really cool. I've never seen that before in a plane. Though only useful for VFR navigation because you would never use a system like that for IFR navigation. At least not that I've ever heard of.

    • @rafaelalmazan5844
      @rafaelalmazan5844 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is basically a rnav calculator, it is very useful in IFR as atc can tell you to proceed direct to a certain fix, which normally are defined as radial and distance from a ground based navaid such as a VOR or TACAN.

    • @fastfiddler1625
      @fastfiddler1625 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rafaelalmazan5844 yeah. I've never personally seen them asking you this unless you were in an RNAV aircraft. It actually was a question on the Delta knowledge test used by the regionals a few years ago. I came across that one. You're on VOR radial/DME, what is the heading to fly to different radial DME with no wind. It took me about 30 seconds to realize I'd forgotten all my trig and calculus from HS and just guessed randomly and moved on (the 4 choice answers were close enough that you couldn't just fudge it).

    Another excellent installment, RedKite!
    Instruments all look great. (That bump texture on the panels could be toned down by half its depth though.) But the flight model looks a bit "on rails" in this one. Is there a really aggressive stabilization system in this aircraft or anything like that?

    • @eatleadcobra
      @eatleadcobra 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has an autopilot system that's very similar to the M-2000C. But I think it looked weird in this video simply because he was flying to intercept the radial at 2x speed acceleration

    • @AdmiralQuality
      @AdmiralQuality 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eatleadcobra Oh he was? That might explain what I'm seeing. (It looked to me like the way the F-16 oscillates as it sticks itself exactly to the attitude it was in when you release the stick. Which obviously for a non-FBW plane is unrealistic.)

    • @RedKiteRender
      @RedKiteRender  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5
