Thank you Lead for always giving your honest opinions in the reviews. You always seem to be in my head and answering the questions just as they come. I have learned a lot from you, and you continue to educate me about various topics. Love you Lead Farmer and thank you and Lady Lead for your contributions. Guava♥
I have an Aferiy 2400 and SolarPlay Q2501. I'm pretty sure this and both of mine are made by the same people because they have the same ports, screen and storage on top. This is a better price than I paid but still much cheaper than the big name brands. I agree that the fan covers are not a great idea. Mine are used to run during power outage to keep my fridges and freezer going without running a generator all the time. I also add two 12v 100ah lfp batteries to the solar input to double the capacity. If I had seen this review I probably would have this model and remove the flaps. Very concerning that yours couldn't handle a 1500w load tho. The highest single draw I've had is about 1300w.
Exactly! I know in the real world I would forget to keep opening these flaps plus, I also know that that extra 6 inches total would really mess things up for me off grid or in the bug out trailer or in my RV. I just built that those were totally unnecessary.
Glad you think so. This is why I like using all of the solar power generators in real life scenarios. If it can’t help me in my real life I do not care about what it says on paper or on videos. We have off grid land and I travel a lot and if it can’t perform in all of those scenarios, it does me no good, that’s why I test the way I do
I dont like that the flaps for the USB ports go up. Seems they would be continually pushing down and loosen that connection over time. I like when the flaps hang down as to not put pressure on usb connections. As this unit is a good price and has its merits..Im still a Pecron Fan.
You are exactly right every time I test a solar power generator with all of the flaps. I usually cut them off. It’s just better to put a cover over the top of the device instead of so many silicone flap plugs😂
It may not live up to the 2400 watts but at least it can power something in an emergency👍 Also, I sent you an email for some advice regarding my Almond Tree 🙏
That last test made me concerned. I'm about to buy this unit, it's more affordable and seems good overall, for my intended use of camper van with not a lot of appliances (12v fridge, phone, computer, keyboard). Around 1650wh real usage (~80% efficiency), not bad. I've seen other TH-cam tests that it handled 2000-2400w on the inverter. It may be a faulty unit, you could speak to them to have it replaced although it may take a while. Right now, 1150 € with portable solar panel (200w), not a bad deal. I would go for Bluetti but with alternator charger, portable and fixed solar it would take me easily to 2000€ or more... Decisions!
@@vibewhen hey man. I decided to go with Bluetti ac200max. I believe it was a safer bet, more reliable and less malfunction problems. 1300€. Most important, the relay doesn't make clicking sounds when dusk/dawn before it starts/shut down around 1 or 2 amps, which Fossibot does. Since I will be using it in a a van, I would go kind of crazy with those sounds at 7am/17pm. Furthermore, the relay can wear down or malfunction after some time if it does that everyday. You can wire a switch, which you would have to turn on/off when needed, which can be quite annoying and inconvenient. ac200max has 12v/30a port also (important for me). some drawbacks: heavier than fossibot (+ ~6 kg), charges slower in ac outlet with a brick charger (fossibot has that charger inside unit), nothing is perfect, depends on each person needs
That unit is faulty.. When you have the air fryer etc hooked up it's doing passthrough power so it's not using the battery at all. Ain't no reason it should tap out
You REALLY should watch to the END! THINGS GET KINDA WIERD 😂

Thank you very much. I am doing the best that I can with what I have.

Great review I agree with you about the fan flaps. High potential of breaking while open and taking up additional space.

I love your channel and how you cover a lot of interesting tech I’ve never even knew about
Thank you 🙏🏽 😊
Very informative information. Your observations were spot on.

Thanks for the review Mr. Lead. 😃🙏
My pleasure!
Well, it's cute! lol Like you said, good for somethings you might need it for. I just need enough power for a bullet ice maker and I'm golden! 😂😂😂
What it did accomplish it did it well, I can say that about this device😂
Wow, I was hoping it would do at least 2000w.
Yeah, that took me by surprise too. Right when I was giving it, praise it let me down where it really counted.
Why
Hey Lead. Well, at least you got to make a cup of coffee. Thanks for another honest review.
Always! It wasn’t a bad unit, but the air fryer took me out😂
I have the same fossibot power station and runs my air fryer plus charging batteries and the TV at the same time and works just fine
😚😚Welcome back again😊😊
It’s the 👀 at the end that said “Nope”

thanks bro, was tempted by the low price but really its a fib
this is not one of my favorites
I have one of these units and I love it
It is not a bad unit at all. It just does not perform as it says it does and that could be a problem when you’re spending and investing lots of money.
Thanks for all the reviews! I'm trying to decide which one I want for my off grid glampground. I need one of these companies to send me one!
I will be doing a "LEADS FAVORITES" soon and you will be surprised at my suggested products.

HI, we recommend FossiBot. If you buy now, we can offer you the lowest price.😄😄

He keeps looking at it like he didn't want to say anything negative but...
😂
BLUETTI IS ALOT BETTER
