I thought it was impossible to do fasting at my age, but you was so sure that I began 3 weeks ago and I am surprised of the results. I take my bulletproof coffee with coconut oil (I have ordered MTC oil) and butter grassfed and I can stay till one or 2.p.m without eating, at lunch 2 or 3 eggs with a big salads and dinner at 6/6,30 p.m..
    Thank you very much.

Why is Dave Asprey not slim and skinny ? he looks high on pot or other drugs ; look at his face !
his B.S. coffee is not working .....He's looks 10 years older than his age...Dave Asprey has aged so poorly...on his high fat meat diet !
Not trying to be mean, just pointing out that a diet low in antioxidants and fiber doesn't help you age well.
This man is a narcissist with a big ego and does it well with a smile(phoney charlatan)
...If anyone mentions anything on Dave Asprey podcast, he talks about himself and how he use to be fat. He has many boring guests, people that obviously paid to be on bulletproof podcast (Yes he pays 20k to be on it) .every guest licks his ass..because he pays 20 k to all the guests .
Or he talks about new gadgets that are a waste of money, saying he uses them everyday in his routine ... which is obviously a lie.He keeps on talking about 40 years of Zen, but you can see it doesn't work! Because if it did, Dave wouldn't be so full of himself.
This is not the biohacking movement anymore coming from him. It's just a sales pitch.
The books Dave Asprey writes is filled with dubious claims based on little evidence or " cherry picked studies" that are "taken out of context". The author, Dave Asprey, vilifies healthy foods and suggests part of the way to achieve a "pound a day" weight loss is to buy his expensive, "science-based" Bulletproof products.Almost every fad diet-book starts with a compelling personal narrative.a..Dave asprey always says "The best way to lose weight is by buying my special products!" In Asprey's food categorizations, many of the items that rank as most healthy are his own branded products: Bulletproof Brain Octane, Bulletproof Chocolate Powder, Bulletproof Ghee, Bulletproof Whey, et cetera.
Alarm bells should go off any time someone claims that you should buy their expensive products for your diet. Especially when the products come with miracle promises, like Asprey's Unfair Advantage, which he suggests will help your body grow new mitochondria (the energy powerhouses of the cells).
There's BULLSHIT EVERYWHERE all around us! The best skill you can learn is to filter the good from the bad, and never buy into anything all the way. That holds true for internet gurus and mainstream medicine alike.
1--->As soon as someone says he would live to 180 years old, red flag is flying in my mind..This man is a professional con-artist sales man.
2- -->If fat is so good for testosterone why does Asprey injection testosterone ?.------>debunked !

Now, we’re coming back to relearn everything, after suffering metabolic disorders. Don’t wait until you’re sick. And if you’re sick, don’t waste another second. When you look at Dave and you look at Max, Dave has been consistently been the higher functioning one and he started with a lot of deficits. Dave's constantly in a better mood and cracking jokes which is a sign of a healthy functioning brain not to mention his success and ability to execute in business, Max is always just kind of there. Not the definition of Vitality, and personally I'd prefer to have a lot more energy so I can be happier and accomplish more. A couple of weeks ago (before I changed my diet) I had some blood tests done. My doctor told me my cholesterol is a tad high so I should cut down my fat intake. He was thrilled with my diet results but I didn't dare tell him how I got those results.

I was stared down with a deeply contorted mask of hatred when a medical director who was in charge of a public education and testing outreach effort (expo/convention) got my results from my blood. I only spoke to the nice little old lady who took my sample. Mary Enig, low-carb CKD with carbs adjusted for exercise. The paragon of health by their own medical science standards. She hated me. I was the living proof right there in front of her. 2012, and many of them HATE US.

Great episode, and thanks to Dave and Max, but I'm confounded as to how Dave Asprey has time to do everything: owning and running a company, running a permaculture farm, planting and maintaining gardens, researching, figuring out ingredients, doing food prep, cooking, calculating everything all the time, tracking, writing books, doing podcasts, etc! Like, is the guy literally bulletproof?? Because I suspect he's low-key a superhero.

He’s very knowledgeable, and also a bullshitter. I listened to him non stop way back in the day, and some stuff is sound, other stuff is BS to sell his products and support his theories. Like, he doesn’t mess with chickens because he claims when he was young he saw a chicken outside his window and after watching it a while decided it wasn’t natural and he didn’t like them. He also claims to have learned to read at like 18 months old, which anyone with kids knows that’s bullshit. Also, he claims olive oil is highly unstable and needs very tender care, which is also bullshit. Olive oil is one of most stable oils, especially when cooking

Dr. Mercola had several articles over the years warning of the grave danger of statins They destroy the heart muscle. Statins are such a scam; big pharma convinces you that your cholesterol has to be a ridiculous, life-threatening low number so they can scare you into taking their poisonous statins. Statins are never good. Change your diet. Research carnivore. I’ve been carnivore for four years and have had major health benefits. I’m the only person I know my age (55) who’s not on pharmaceutical drugs, and I am very healthy. I never get sick. I am not over weight. Arthritis & inflammation gone. Cholesterol & blood pressure’s perfect. Carnivore will fix your heart & cholesterol problems-not drugs! HTH

I don't drink tea or coffee and although it's unusual, I'm sure I'm not alone. My parents lived to a ripe old age and my aunt is 100 (and ate chocolate) so I can see 100+ being doable but I think 180 could be rather lonely as most of my friends would probably already be dead by the time I was 100. As Dr Goldhammer said, "make younger friends"!
