Guys, the reason why all current roster dialog is recycled is because of the voice actor strike, they aren't lazy, voice actors are tired of getting payed for so little when they scream and damage their voice box. They refused to comeback or do DLC dialog, if Neatherealm were lazy then they would have never added new dialog in Kombat pack 1 and 2 in MKXL. For anyone complaining for the resued lines, Remember that the voice actor strike is STILL going on. They did the best they could with the lines they had before this strike took place. Considering the attention to detail the game already had prior to the DLC, I'm pretty sure had the strike not been a thing the lines would be even more intense.
If I remember correctly it started recently, like right after the recording for this game was done. But who knows exactly when it was, as recording can be done very early or very late in the stage.

I'm amazed by how many people are surprised that MK v DC is also canon in Earth 2.
Remember, Earth 1 and Earth 2 are almost exactly the same, except Earth 2 has the mindbroken Superman. Therefore, events of the past are also the same.

Well, atleast from the DC point of view it happened on one of the many alternate earths. But the MK side was erased from time by Raiden in the beginning of MK9. But like it was explained in the Flash tv show, changes to the timeline don't affect events that occured on other earths, meaning these interactions still happened on the DC side.

Jonah Steinfeld No it didn't atleast not in the canon injustice verse. Lex was evil in that DC Verse which contradicts this actual game as This Lex was never evil in injustice verse. These are just references for the fans to enjoy, so if your head canon is that "YOUR" version of Sub Zero came from the Mk vs DC verse then you can. Plus none of the DLC Guest characters are canon, that's been the role since MK9.

Brett Lazo Reused dialogue will do that. They didn't get the non DLC cast to record new lines for the DLC characters. Whether it's laziness, lack of money, the voice actor's strike or a combination of the above is hard to say
