You'll catch a lot more of the small species if you fish for them using a dropshot rig size 10:hooks and little 1-2 inch soft plastics about 6inches off the bottom using tiny twitches of the road tip rather than a jig with big sweeps.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah I did mention in the video I didn’t have my plastics with me. But I was also targeting the clouds of coal fish and pollock that hang out down the side wall. They love a shiny.
Thanks for the sub. Thats where I snapped my lrf rod that I spoke about here 😂 haven’t been down that way for a while so that might be the boost I need. thanks for the tip.
I have been snagged there. Especially at the start. I tend not to get too many snags now. I have been fishing here for 6 years so I have learnt the channels and depth etc.

Thanks for the sub mate. It’s a lovely place.
I've got the Daiwa 5.9m handle with a Spro folding net. The handle has been amazing but the net might need to be replaced after about 2 years
Thanks mate. I defo need something.
@@elkayakfish the tronix flip net head looks decent for £30. That's the next one I'm going to try
use a match fishing landing net 4 meters long and ridgid works great from the rocks
Appreciate that. I need something extendable for the portability. :) thanks
