Here is the full recipe, with instructions - including the butter. These were a HUGE hit at Thanksgiving Texas Roadhouse Rolls 1 Tbs instant yeast (or 4 tsp active dry yeast) 1/2 c warm water 1/2 c sugar 1/4 c honey 2 c warm milk 6 Tbs melted butter, cooled + 2 Tbs melted to brush rolls. 2 eggs 2 tsp salt 8 c all purpose flour Combine yeast, water, sugar, and honey in stand mixer. Let yeast bloom 5 minutes. Add milk, butter, eggs, salt, and 2 cups flour to start. Mix with paddle, adding flour as needed, to get a pancake batter consistency. Let mix for 10 minutes. Switch to dough hook. Continue adding flour, 1 cup at a time. Once all flour is added, mix dough for about 5 minutes to give the flour time to absorb moisture (Add additional flour if sticking significantly to bowl after a few minutes). Once dough has pulled away from the side, knead for 5 minutes. Remove from bowl onto a lightly floured surface. Tuck bread into a ball and let sit for 15 minutes. Place in an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Leave in a warm place to rise for 1 hour or until double in size. Punch down and knead dough just to pop the large air bubbles. Roll out into a rectangle, about 1” thick, and cut dough into 2.5” columns/rows. Transfer rolls to a lined baking sheet, with a little space between them, and lightly spray with cooking spray. Cover with towel and let rise in warm place for an hour or doubled in size. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake rolls for 18-25 minutes or until deep golden. Brush rolls with melted butter and let cool 10-15 minutes before eating. Yield - 2 dozen-ish Texas Roadhouse Butter 1 stick Salted butter, softened 1 tsp cinnamon 3 Tbs honey 1 c powdered sugar Combine in a bowl and whip with whisk attachment until butter is light a fluffy.
I saw her video, I didn't know her because there's so many videos and seamed to miss hers. I did go back and watched her and her husband. He's with the Lord, to meet her there. RIP Dave🙏🙏🙏
Im reading this on July 4th 2021. I never saw anything from this wonderful woman before she lost so much. Her husband i saw only once in a video after learning about the tragedy. So senseless and he destroyed this family. Took a husband and a father. Im so mad i could strangle him myself. Omg i can hear the baby saying daddy. How hard is this for them all.
What happened to her husband? I’m just now seeing this video! Oh my goodness.. I’m praying for her.. her precious family & Loved ones.. God Comfort them & give them added Strength for the days ahead!! I’m So Sorry for their loss..🥺😢💔🙏🙏🙏👑🕊️🕊️🕊️
I just came across her video last night. So sorry to hear of her loss and the tragedy. My prayers are with her and her family. I'm sorry, I don't even know her name.
@@springbeauty4330 they were hit by a drunk driver after leaving a restaurant; celebrating Valentine's day. Matt was killed. Her two small children were badly injured. Heather had to be lifelifted to another hospital as she had brain bleeding. Both her arms and legs were injured. Not sure if she's still in a rehabilitation clinic to help her walk and use her hands. ✌
I’m watching in March of 2023. I’m sure you treasure these videos now. You can hear Matt’s voice, whenever you need to. My Dad passed in 2004. He cut an album back in the early 80’s, I love hearing his voice whenever I need to. Bless you Heather. I’m so glad I found your channel looking for a recipe. 🌺
Sorry about you Dad. My mom passed in 2013. I can’t watch these videos too much. There isnt a day that goes by i dont weep for him. Homesick. It’s funny after someone dies the electronic devices with their voices sound so different. He sounds different to me. Like they take part of their energy with them. Ugh. I miss him. I just ache. 💔
I found your channel right after the accident happened... when you spoke from the hospital. My ❤ ached for you and your children, I cried as you spoke. I'm so very sorry. You also led me to Barn 54- very recently. 💕
I love you Heather. I remember this sweet time in your life. I made these as soon as you uploaded this video. Wish I could hug you. Prayers for you and your kids ❤️
I watched your video after her husband passed away. It's March 2021. Bless you sweetheart, you will be together again one day, so sorry for your loss, your best friend, your love, your husband🙏🙏🙏 Blessing to you💞
I feel like doing a happy bread dance when I eat some delicious freshly baked bread too! It hurts my heart to see this video knowing Matt is no longer here with us but then I think sweet Mason will be able to look back when he's older and see how much his dad adored him. Sending lots of hugs, love, and positivity your way.
Before i did the 1st rise i cut in half, put half in freezer bag then froze. I had been told to freeze before. I will let everyone know it works. This is such a good roll and the dough feels so good when making
Yummy! Looks like you have a whole LOTTA canning jars! A tip for you: If you spray your measuring cup before measuring the honey, the honey will come out so much easier!

I just made these rolls and honey cinnamon butter tonight and my family said they were the best rolls they have ever eat. Thank you so much for your great videos that you so graciously share. They are deeply appreciated.
I watch this video and think how sad and at the same time its wonderful that she will have these memories and moments in time, not just for her but for the hole family, to here her laughter it breaks my heart. I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for all of you! I am definitely going to make these rolls, my hole family loves them. So I will make them a couple of times and then surprise them at Thanksgiving, everyone comes here and I have a house full so I will have to make several runs of them and the butter. Thank you so much, I hope you are doing well, I saw a video yesterday that you did a month or so ago I think. And you were healing both inside and out, I hope all of you are getting well and can come back very soon. All my love and prayers.❤🙏❤❤❤
Don't pay any attention to me. I binge watching all your bread recipes. Another great video. You teach very well. I've been baking bread for about 44 years now. All my married life. I used to make braids at Easter and all that and then I went to work and just stuck mainly with plain breads and rolls. Here lately I've been baking sourdough. God bless!
Tip #1, When you measure honey (or any sticky syrup) spray your measuring cup/spoon with a Non-stick oil or Pam. The honey will roll right out. Tip#2. You can sand out the "burn" mark with fine sandpaper...BUT...If the burn is very deep (It doesn't look deep on YT.) you may have to sand the whole surface to make it all level.
Good morning, March17. Heather and Matt are such a beautiful couple and have a precious family. Their videos are so full of treasured memories. I'm a new subscriber and love them. May God shower them with his everlasting Grace. Watch their video on the birth of their children.
This was my very first time making bread, ever. This was so easy to follow and had the pan was eaten within 10 minutes of me taking them out of the oven. Thanks for posting this.
Hello from France Souvenir, souvenir of my last vacation in the USA. I tried your recipe today... And simply amazing ! Just back to texas roadhouse ! Thanks for this recipe.

Hi Heather First time bread maker I made Texas Roadhouse Rolls they turned out well a little misshapen Humm Thanks for the inspiration IAM praying for yall have a day love from TEXAS
Made these and it turned out amazing! Thank you for sharing these videos I only have been making bread for a short time. Praying for healing in your family.
I'm glad it's getting close to garden time. I'm going to need to eat only raw veggies to go with all these breads I have to make after watching each video! These will definitely be made this week.
Fantastic! I made these yesterday for a friend who came to visit and have dinner. I am newer to baking, and was nervous all day thinking I was going to mess this up. They came out AMAZING and the butter was out of this world!! Thank you so much for the detailed instructions and for sharing these recipes.
I did not have all the ingredients today at home but I could not resist and I prepared the recipe. I always take my child to a restarutante just for the butter. Today was my first time preparing and in my home everyone is happy. I received so many kisses. How good it is to find natural, real and genuine people. Thank you so much for share your recipe .
I'm watching a BUNCH of your videos b4 bed 3.12.21. I live in Simpson county, Mississippi. Your laughter is such a beautiful sound!!! Your amazing joy over making rolls is the kind of joy worth striving after. Thank you soooooo much; I'll surprise my husband on Sunday with rolls AND SPECIAL BUTTER!! I am so excited to try to make a "simple batch of rolls" but it'll make Hunny smile!!! Thank you Heather for sharing your love, enthusiasm, joy, laughter, & your precious little man ! I bless you, darlin!
This is the best recipe I've found for these rolls! Thanks for sharing. They have turned out so amazingly everytime! Plus, I love every recipe I've tried of yours.
I have these baking right now, and I am already drooling. Thank you for everything you do and for the effort you put into your channel. I just ordered a couple of canning books to read, too. I'm looking forward to learning many new things!
I am addicted to the rolls at Texas Roadhouse so I decided to try this recipe last night. Bread has a special place in my heart too. I may or may not have had a biscuit fiasco recently that left my family craving delicious fresh bread. So I watched your video about 5 times to really see what I need to do, then I went to work. Thankfully someone commented your recipe because the link didn't work for me. My stand mixer is on its last leg so it took me about 40 minutes to get the dough mixed up. I followed the recipe to the T, except my dough was still very much watery at 4 cups flour. I live in a SUPER humid area so I had to add around 5 cups flour. The whole thing took me about 3 hours to do. This recipe is wonderful and my whole family was impressed with the rolls. They taste pretty dang close to Texas Roadhouse rolls. Even the butter recipe is spot on. They were SO good! Don't be afraid to cut the square kind of small because they get huge!!! I cut mine too big and they were like the size of my feet lol!!! Thank you so much for this recipe!! It is definitely going in my keep box.
Oh goodness Heather I love watching these old videos. I was needing a recipes for these rolls but enjoyed watching Mason and Matt do the bread dance. ❤ Hugs
Your videos popped up in my feed, I’ve been watching & trying several canning recipes, Loved Every Single One! Enjoyed how Matt helps you as my husband helps me. I had no idea of the heartbreak your family has endured for what must be a year or more. Thinking of y’all & hoping all your hearts heal with the warm embrace of Matt ❤
You had me confused when you were using the paddle for making rolls.... but when you switched to the hook, I was fine. It looks like a great recipe. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and your family.
The baby is so cute hes doing the happy dance like yup yup this is good 😊. GB ty for sharing this recipe my whole family and kids love these rolls i think im going to try n make this.
Watching your older videos from my treadmill! Your rolls are beautiful. I pic them w a huge pot of chili. Thumbs up and thanks for a great workout. Healing prayers, sweet lady.
Heather, I am praying for you and your kids as you go through this holiday season! It’s nice to see and hear Matt’s voice. I will be making these for our Thanksgiving tonight in your honor and in Matt’s memory! God bless!
Made these tonight...YUM!!! I was pressed for time so shortened the rise time in half and they still came out perfect! Loving you for getting me over my fear of making bread. Yeast gave me anxiety, but not anymore! I know it’s silly, but your gift is a blessing to me. Thank you for sharing it with us.❤️
I am about to make these rolls with my daughter right now! As we do we’ll be thinking of your awesome husband! Hearing him in this video makes me weep for you 😢 hope all is well with you guys ❤❤❤ much love! Thank you for the amazing recipes
You're always in my thoughts Heather, love watching videos with you so happy and joyous with your husband and children. Love you much sister. May God continue to heal you all and keep you strong through this wonderful holiday season. Missouri Wrightchk
I made these and all I can say is wow! These are not knock off; these are exactly the same as Texas Roadhouse!!! Yum!!! I am thanking you Heather for your step by step detailed instructions. This is my favorite for sure! Continued prayers for you and your family. Love you!! ❤❤ You have inspired me to make my own bread now! 😊
😋 yumm these look amazing !! Watching all your videos hopefully this helps you and I’m so enjoying every video !! So very Sorry for your Loss 💔its so good you have videos of your Matt too !!
Hi, thanks for the recipe. As for the mark on you cutting board a light sanding with 120 grit sandpaper will take care of it, sand with the grain of the wood. If you don't have sand paper you can use some steel wool. Thanks
hey heather, sure missing your video's. i tune in daily for a new one. I love to hear your laugh. I remember how hard it was trying to feed 3 growing boys myself. they eat us out of house and home..lol. just love watching you and hubby, so glad it's all working for you now. Can't wait to see the new baby :) you touch so may hearts, god bless you.
Edward Turner awww thank you sooo much!!!! This comment made my night! :D I can not wait for baby to get here so I can share her with you guys! :D And YES, boys sure can eat, can't they? I dont know where they put it all? hahaha
You are never boring. We all enjoy visiting with you. These look fantastic. I so wish I had a kitchenaid or at least a mixer that could handle dough, but I will try these by hand one day soon.
So yummy looking 😋. I’m definitely making these rolls this week. I know I’m five years late, but I sand my cutting boards every once in a while with 220 grit sandpaper to remove knife marks and stains, then coat with Food Grade mineral oil (Important: Don’t use drug store mineral oil as it’s a laxative). Or a butcher block conditioner works as well…costs more, does the same). This practice extends the life of your board, resurfaces and removes the soft fibers where bacteria like to nestle.
Beautiful rolls! I like this alternative to rolling and shaping, the squares look very nice! Happy hubby and little guy...nothing beats home made rolls!
They look really good. Your son is such a cutie lol! Love them when they're that age. My 1 girl & 4 boys are grown now but I remember all their cutie days. Now I have my Grand Babies I can spoil & then give back lol! They grow up way too fast!
You are seriously my hero and inspiration! Although I live by myself I’m saving this video for those family dinners with my adult children and their family
Taking my first shot at yeast rolls. They look great. I don't have a mixer as big and nice as yours. My dough was super sticky. Tried to escape the bowl up the dough hook. Added just a bit of flour. (Helped some). My 4Q mixer may be to small for this recipe. Back on track now in the middle of the first rise. Will update. Anyway.. Thank you for the recipe and inspiration.
Oh Heather I’m so wanting one or ten of these right now as a midnight snack before bed lol yummy 😋❤️🙂 thank you for all you do for so many years love you sis.❤️
Watching again here in September and thinking about the loss you Heather and your children have gone through. My heart hurts for you but it will get a little easier 1 day at a time. And with the Lords help you will go on. He is with you.
I am sure someone already suggested it but you can easily sand down your board and will look good as new. Just oil it after sanding. Thank you for the amazing recipe
These are awesome, totally out of this world. I made them for our family (16 people) with doubling the recipe and all I heard was a bunch of non non non, and they couldn't get enough of the honey butter. I saw my mom stash some away for her and my dad..... Thank you so much for this recipe. ❤ As i type this i have another double batch in their 60 min ride. Yummy!
I saw yesterday on youtube that for yeast dough you can use your InstantPot on the yogurt normal setting for first rise for 20 minutes (no longer than 20 minutes) instead of an hour...just put a regular lid on IP. Thought I'd share.
Here is the full recipe, with instructions - including the butter. These were a HUGE hit at Thanksgiving
Texas Roadhouse Rolls
1 Tbs instant yeast (or 4 tsp active dry yeast)
1/2 c warm water
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c honey
2 c warm milk
6 Tbs melted butter, cooled + 2 Tbs melted to brush rolls.
2 eggs
2 tsp salt
8 c all purpose flour
Combine yeast, water, sugar, and honey in stand mixer.
PRAYERS for healing heart and soul!

Oh this made my night! Thanks Tara!!!
Thank you, dear Heather! You are such an inspiration to us! :)
It is definitely going in my keep box.
yay!!!!😆👏🏻❤️
Beautiful family. God will bring you all together again.
look delicious My heart is filled Search compassion for your family Praying for the hearts and minds Of each and every one of you
It amazes me to watch and know ya dont have to scrape the bowl.....its all pulled into the dough as its moving. Such beautiful wonderful rolls.

Thank you for sharing it with us.❤️
I made these today, May 24 2021. They are absolutely delicious!
Thank-you Heather, I pray you are doing well! 🌌

God bless. I trying to binge all your videos. Hope this brings hope to your family.
I seriously rolled my eyes when you suggested putting leftovers in the French toast casserole. Just imagine how yummy!!!
Hi, thanks for the recipe.
As for the mark on you cutting board a light sanding with 120 grit sandpaper will take care of it, sand with the grain of the wood. If you don't have sand paper you can use some steel wool. Thanks
GIRL! I JUST FINISHED MY FIRST BATCH AND AS AN AVID TRH FAN THIS IS LEGIT!
I have tried this recipe, it is delicious!
hey heather, sure missing your video's. i tune in daily for a new one.
3-26-21.This looks so good. Hope you are going home soon.
They look so good I can smell them. The best part was the dancing, your son is just adorable.
Made them, they're great and the bread dance is the ultimate complement.
+MrZipperhead16 woohoo!!!!! This made my night! Thanks for comin back and sharin with me!!!!😁❤
Thanks for this video. Looks good. Praying for you and your sweet kiddos. 🤗🙏
Wow” those rolls are looking so good! Oh my goodness the bay is soooocute! I want some bread too!
I made these last night and they came out amazing, thank you for sharing this
If I could I’d give it extra thumbs up for your husband and your kids support on how delicious this was!!!
God bless you all been praying 🙏 for a speedy recovery. 🙏
I am sure someone already suggested it but you can easily sand down your board and will look good as new. Just oil it after sanding. Thank you for the amazing recipe
Oh my! Cannot wait to try this!
These are awesome, totally out of this world. I made them for our family (16 people) with doubling the recipe and all I heard was a bunch of non non non, and they couldn't get enough of the honey butter. I saw my mom stash some away for her and my dad..... Thank you so much for this recipe. ❤
As i type this i have another double batch in their 60 min ride. Yummy!
Adding a little marshmallow cream makes it even better!
This recipe kicks ass. VERY VERY good !! Im always being asked to make these
Your comment made my entire night! 😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I saw yesterday on youtube that for yeast dough you can use your InstantPot on the yogurt normal setting for first rise for 20 minutes (no longer than 20 minutes) instead of an hour...just put a regular lid on IP. Thought I'd share.
Get out of here!!😱👏🏻 I gotta try it now!!!!
