I've got an interesting condition where my brain won't let me be fully paralyzed. (This makes surgery interesting...) but side effects are sleep-walking and being highly resistant to sedatives. I've woken up during surgery and been able to move, luckily I just fell back asleep but it scared the shit out of the doctors.
ANYWAY! MY POINT! I've had sleep paralysis two times in my life, well kinda. I woke up looking up into the face of what I can only describe as a witch staring down at me from like inches away, but while I could tell my entire body was tingly and fighting the urge to move, I still managed to what I can best describe as drunkenly slowly swing a punch at the face which looked visibly surprised and immediately vanished. Year or so later it happened again, this time more of a giant spider. I sat up and swung again (this time hitting the wall!) and it again had what I assumed was a shocked look and disappeared again. Haven't had one since and it's been about 8 years.
So yeah, take a swing at a demon when it thinks it has you and they'll leave you alone. Or something.

I had a similar experience when I was younger, maybe 14 or 15. I woke up with a old woman sitting ontop of me, my limbs felt like icy needles were poking into them and I was unable to move. I was terrified, but I was always a little shit growing up so I spat in her face. She looked horrified and faded back into the darkness of the room. I was unable to move until I fell back asleep and woke back up in the morning. I had one other weird experience growing up where my sister's bedroom door opened up and slammed itself in the middle of the night, this was when I was the only child who still lived there(sis in college, brother in the mental health ward). I fucking hated that house, always felt uneasy there, and honestly blame it for my brother going crazy.

I enjoy Keter SCPs that aren't just "Yeah, we literally can't contain it because it's beyond our reality or understanding." Most of them are very lazy.
But, this one... no, the item itself is very easy to contain; just don't use it outside of testing. It's the possible "hidden containment breaches" that exist, & potential domino effect that every single one possesses that makes it Keter.

I've had sleep paralysis twice that I can remember. Once I was on my back, could see most of the room and saw something humanoid with fiery eyes at the end of the room, it didn't get any closer and disappeared before I got movement back. The 2nd time, I was on my side and could only see the wall. I felt something on the bed behind me, felt as if someone were digging their fingernails into my back (but really awkwardly far apart, as if their hands were fully splayed when they did it) and heard an indistinct voice at the edge of hearing, it disappeared pretty much at the same time I got movement back and turned over.

The mathmatical feature one reminds me of a nightmare I had with some humanoid type entity that had a 8 and a 6 for eyes although the 8 was sideways making an infinity symbol. it wanted to kill me and my entire family and it succeeded but for some reason I wasn't scared of it for my entire dream... Until I woke up after it killed me and I heard it spoke in my ear afterwards...

7-8 years ago, I had a dream go from a happy calm dream, of a guy (who resembled the crazy Russian hacker) reading a book or something on his porch, suddenly out of the blue he yells "that wasn't there before" jumps out of his seat and it switches to my room, with Morgan Freeman standing over the night light T posing.
Lesson learned, don't watch Russian TH-camrs and Morgan freeman in one sitting.

This makes me glad the only time that I’ve had sleep paralysis that I can remember (had it a lot as a kid but can’t remember what happened during events) there wasn’t any weird creature or entity all that happened was that I could see out of the back and side of my head and I felt an overwhelming sense of dread and danger like the feeling of being watched but turned up to a 12.

I'm so lucky to have never seen an "entity". But a loud, mechanical whirling sound (think industrial fan) will send me straight into paralysis. In some instances, I'd pull myself out, relax, and then slip right back into paralysis. I think the worst is the sensation of rising, that sounds ridiculous because no, I wasn't physically levitating but it was just that sensation.

I used to have terrible sleep paralysis a couple years ago. I didn’t get a sleep paralysis demon. What happened instead is that I would wake up paralyzed face down in my pillow.
Genuinely the most terrifying shit. I was suffocating while the rest of my body was trying to wake up

    • @commanderjason7786
      @commanderjason7786 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I occasionally have had something similar, but not quite the same. I wouldn't really be totally face-down in my pillow, but my eyes would be close enough that it would be completely dark, and I guess whatever causes "sleep paralysis demons" to appear would cause something vaguely terrifying to appear in that dark space, flood me with adrenaline, and I'd be awake. I dunno what the fuck to really describe them, but I swear to god-and I'm not making this shit up-it sometimes looked like Herobrine from Minecraft. I dunno why, I guess my childhood paranoia of running into him has come back to bite me in the ass on occasion... for some reason.

I’m truly disappointed that one of the notable discriptions wasn’t similar to that one infamous 4chan post paralysis demon where some guy would furiously masterbate to his sleep paralysis demon that would stare at him from the corner of his room to express dominance, before one night being essentially strattled by said entity that came in the appearance of a busty female entity that was blood red, had sharp claws and no face telling him that if he wants it so bad all he had to do was ask and continue doing what he was doing.
I would have thought that would have been extremely funny but I guess that post was a bit niche. It ended up with the internet calling him a coward for not going through with it.

I experienced sleep paralysis waking up once when I was 7. I saw my brother in the corner of the room, it was dusk outside (I think, this was over 10 years ago so it's foggy) and I couldn't move. It didn't scare me at the time. Just another weird dream to my younger self.
years back (again, I was probably 10-11) I had an episode where Morgan Freeman was T posing in the middle of my room ( we lived in a small house, so me and my brothers had to sleep in one room when we were young) we had a weird setup with a lamp in the middle of the room, and Morgan freeman was the plot device in the weirdest dream I had.
I would explain the whole dream but it's a lot to digest and I've written enough.

The only time I’ve ever had sleep paralysis was actually pretty recent, I “woke up” in my bed unable to move, while I saw a huge spider on my closet door, I mean HUGE, like bigger than a tarantula. It wasn’t moving at all. I remember hearing an argument outside my room, it was my parents yelling about how the spider had bit me and my neighbor, and that they didn’t know what to do. I just sat there, unable to move for a good while, staring at this huge unmoving spider, dreading that it’d move again. Then I woke up, and the spider was gone.
This was one of the scariest things I’ve witnessed in my life lmfao.
