So cool. I'm so glad Belinda joined you for this. You and the Go-Go's were, for me, a great introduction to the inclusiveness of Women in punk. It was the first time in my life that I felt alive and that I had a place to be myself. These awesome young ladies have the best mentors/friends and I know that you are still influential and helping lift their voices. Thank you.

The beauty and power of creative energy 💟 So blessed to have grown up in the early 80's LA punk world. Belinda always gave me hope that like her, someday I'd escape the conejo valley 😆 but nothing beats the time I ended up sitting next to Pleasant on a flight to London and getting a copy of "Escape from Houdini Mountain". It's all herstory now and we all have them.
You are an inspiring person and I love the punk essence that is still dear to you...tho the R&R Hall of Fame is a sham...just a bunch of corporates patting themselves on the back...
I miss seeing and playing intimate, in your face gigs like that. I think they will make a comeback :) FUN FUN ...looking forward to the Fanny documentary too

I second this and was thinking the same thing. Lately, I have been on a Go Go’s kick although I have been a fan since the 80’s….and saw them live in Seattle in their prime. They achieved the pinnacle of musical success………which in my opinion is creating a sound that is unique and is only associated with that band. They are in my regular rotation of music not because they are an all female band, but because their music is right up there with the best of the best…….The Cars, The Jam, Boston, Queen……you name it…..they are in there too!!!!
