Welcome back to Apple Drains of NC. Dr Drainz here today in beautiful Raleigh North Carolina at a new subdivision. This customer is looking to extend his current drain that stops at the sidewalk in front of their house.
So after calling 811 and talking with the inspector we are going to extend this line underneath the sidewalk and through the curb out into the street and away from the house like the engineers designed
Come along with us today as we show you some cool ways to get this drain under the sidewalk and through the curb without destroying the entire curb.

Are most curb drains for a French drain?
Also what if you a small amount of water coming out of your curb drain even though the weather is dry? Does this mean anything. All the neighbors curb drains are dry with nothing coming out their curb drains, except mine. Please help. Thank you

Trying to figure out why you didn’t use geotextile fabric to wrap the pile and no rock underneath. That will silt up in a few years and then they will have to call a plumber or landscaper to clean it out.

Confused by your comment. It’s not a French drain just an exit pipe

Actually a no hub and Fernwood coupling are different. In your case you want to use the fernco coupling like you did because your pipe was offset the other pipe. A no hub coupling has a metal sheathing that would not allow two pipes that are offset. Atleast not to the degree you needed in your video. Nice job!
