I think it's possible to fully automatically farm Azalea trees aka oak wood as well because of the saplings that can grow on moss. The farm for it is stupidly complicated, but it's possible. Nether wood is fully automatically farmable as well because you can get the saplings when you let a dispenser bonemeal nylium. Birch, I don't like the dead looking leaves but the wood color is cool 1. Oak, I like how easy it is to get, find, and I like the texture
My wood ranking! 12. Crimson - I agree, I have sadly never found a use for this wood in my build and it's also annoying to get 11. Warped - Same thing as crimson except a little bit more unique and could work well in a water theme 10. Bamboo - I'm very neutral on it just because I haven't used it very much 9. Pale Oak - Since it's not out yet I haven't used it at all but I'm really not a fan of modern builds but I'm excited to combine it with quartz 8. Acacia - I like it but it can be hard to use 7. Jungle - Same thing as acacia but for some reason I've always kind of liked the pink tone, it seems very tropical 6. Oak - Idk but for some reason I actually found oak hard to use sometimes since it's so very neutral, I like contrast which puts oak lower down for me 5. Birch - It genuinely pains me to put birch so low since I love it but the top 5 for me is just so strong, I love the contrast it creates with the darker wood types 4. Cherry - It's so pretty and this is very biased since the reason I use it so much is just I love that exact aesthetic that fits with cherry 3. Mangrove - I paid barely any attention to it when it came out but now I love it so much! It's stunning and just gives great color to any build 2 Dark Oak - It feels like every single roof I ever make is made out of dark oak and I use at least a bit of it for every build 1. Spruce - Basic but it just is perfection, especially the trap door best thing in minecraft.
Cherry planks are actually my favorite so I was a bit surprised to not see it placed very high lol. When building my house in creative I used both cherry and crimson since their colors mesh really well
I tend to use stone bricks and deepslate a lot in my builds, and Spruce just has the absolute perfect color to mix with those (more so with the lighter blocks), and you can also do some texturing with barels, I also find the color comforting for some reason, it just feels welcoming

I love cherry and the new pale oak. Those two are going to look wonderful together.
Cherry planks are actually my favorite so I was a bit surprised to not see it placed very high lol. When building my house in creative I used both cherry and crimson since their colors mesh really well

We all know Steve's wood is the best wood.
What?
WHAT!?
I tend to use stone bricks and deepslate a lot in my builds, and Spruce just has the absolute perfect color to mix with those (more so with the lighter blocks), and you can also do some texturing with barels, I also find the color comforting for some reason, it just feels welcoming
Cherry wood is my favorite wood type just because pink is such a unique color for wood and the trees are so pretty
