    Fantastic overview! On the templates in the notebook, you can use different ones in a single notebook. When selecting it, there’s a settings in the top right corner with an option at the bottom to “apply to all pages”. Unselect that and it will apply only to the current page.

      🤯 that's a game changer. Thanks Lisa. I always have to go between my to-do and notes. Gonna change my flow and incorporate this. Awesome tip 👍🏽

    I have a question, I'm looking for a notebook and e-reader in one. Do you find this note air plus good for e-books too?. Does this work with all types of books, for example books you buy or book you lend in a librabry?

    • @StephenHelwigTalksTech
      @StephenHelwigTalksTech  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question. I don't use it that often as an e-reader but I have tested it to do this and it works fantastic. I also installed the Libby app from the Google Play store and have used it with my library books. Overall it's designed to do both really well.

    Thank you, very informative.
    I went for the Supernote and have no regrets, its ability to build an index in each notebook, system wide star system and keywords is exceptional as is its search and navigation abilities. The only thing I personal wish for and hope will be part of their A4 size tablet coming out at the end of the year, is a split screen mode, where I can for example... take notes in the left hand split while in landscape from say a webpage I'm browsing in the right-hand pane.
    One other thing that worried me about other e-ink tablets is their fragility, with the Supernote being plastic with a rubber screen making it robust in comparison. Additionally, you do not feel as though you are writing on glass... but as many say _"On the first page of a premium notebook"_ with the benefit of _'The Heart of Metal'_ pen never requiring you to replace its ceramic nib.
    But everyone has different requirements, and the Boox Air 2 Plus appears to lend itself to the business user compared to those who write, but at the price point the Air is a tempting purchase for anyone.

      Thanks Karl. Glad you enjoyed it and sharing your reasons why you bought the Supernote.

    Thanks for such a great review. I've been trying to find an eNote that lets you write on PDFs with the stylus and also add typed sticky notes (like in Acrobat), did you notice if this device was able to do both? So far I've tried an Elipsa 2e and Scribe, and neither can do both. Thank You!

      @StephenHelwigTalksTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can write on PDFs, but I have not tried sticky notes and only have Acrobat Reader.

    How do you have a colored screen? Mine is only black&white...

    • @StephenHelwigTalksTech
      @StephenHelwigTalksTech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine is black and white as well, but when you use the screen recorder it shows up with the real colors. I honestly didn't know until I watched the screen recording when I was editing the video.

  • @reactiondoll
    @reactiondoll ปีที่แล้ว +1

    May I ask how you recorded the whole boox screen with bezels 😮 and in color?

    • @StephenHelwigTalksTech
      @StephenHelwigTalksTech  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Love this question. The device has a built-in screen recorder. Despite the device's screen not having color, the software does interpret the color codes of items like pen tips, icons, etc. So when it outputs the screen recording in MP4 it displays all of the color. Now when I pulled it into the editing software, I took a stock image of the device and overlayed my recording onto the image to make it look as if I recorded it that way. If you look very very closely at the edges you might notice that it's the tiniest bit off.

    Is it possible to sync notes into one drive, or to use the ms one note app directly - if so, does that work well or is the app itself not well adapted to stylus input?

    • @StephenHelwigTalksTech
      @StephenHelwigTalksTech  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question. The app works fine on the tablet, but the refresh rate makes it more difficult to write than the native note taking app. I'll make a Short of the experience as this has been a common question.

    How well does it work with Microsoft OneNote?

    • @StephenHelwigTalksTech
      @StephenHelwigTalksTech  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It uses the android version so it works well, but the one thing I've found is that when you write it comes in faintly and then once you stop writing it will interpret the text and render it using the Pen style you have in OneNote. I'll try and record a quick short on it when I get home.

    Is it possible to digitize text once you've written a note?

    • @StephenHelwigTalksTech
      @StephenHelwigTalksTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it has what they call an AI feature. I'll do a quick short on it soon.

      Thank you Stephen for the great review. I'm thinking of buying Note Air2+ based on your review among others. Could you please tell me does this E-ink tablet recognize handwriting other languages that use latin letters with maybe additional specific letters? Is there an option for that? Thank you in advance for your time and answer. Miroslav

    • @StephenHelwigTalksTech
      @StephenHelwigTalksTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@miroslavmisanovic3192 thank you for watching. You can write or draw any character you want, however whether or not the OCR will recognize other characters for things like searching and indexing, I am unsure. I only write in English so wouldn't be able to test it out unfortunately.

      @@miroslavmisanovic3192yes, Boox recognizes handwriting in other languages very well. You just need to download the appropriate package. I use it in Czech and it works perfectly...
