    I think the magnet for the pen is in the middle where the indication symbol is. If you put the pen there it will “stick” more.
    Love the comparison! I have bought my self a couple to try with the Air 2 Plus

      Thank you ! No need to switch off the pen as they does not need any battery. Turning the page with the button of the pen is software feature, so it should be possible but as far as I know none tablet has implement that.

    One thing that never really gets adequately covered with reviews and descriptions of these pens is... which ones need their styluses regularly replacing and which ones don't. My Onyx Boox max came with the pen featured at 20:10 and had a hard plastic nib - I have been using the pen and tablet for three years now and it still does not need a nib replacement.
    The Onyx Nova colour came with the pen featured at 14:01 which is utter garbage - the included nib barely lasted 4 weeks and they don't provide any replacement nibs in pack, and they have the cheek to charge over £15 for just five of those same crappy nibs. If I could, I would just buy a couple more of their old pens and I would never need replacements. I bought E-Ink writers to replace paper and pen but if they still require expensive consumables then I already wasted my money buying the damn tablet in the first place.
    I could consider one of these other pens but I don't know if they have hard plastic nibs or not as their product descriptions never say if the material is quickly degradable or not. All I want is a stylus with a hard plastic nib that never needs replacing, so long as it has an eraser button that will work with Onyx products.

    • @onemoreink3654
      @onemoreink3654  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For permanent nibs you can consider the supernote products. For the other nibs/pen, it depends on how you are writing but you can consider that felt nibs (the ones that provide the "paper feel" sensation last less longer than hard ones...

    Fantastic review, best I've seen and don't need to watch any more now; thanks muchly : )
    This is the only video any consumer needs to watch under the aegis of: "BEST STYLUS/ONYX BOOX/REMARKABLE 2", as you compared only the premium and most popular branded models we're considering; 'road-tested' while detailing an extraordinary range of differing specs, designs and features -and yet those 7 models vying for our $ vary significantly in visual aesthetic, dimensions, some features and build quality and finish. Enjoyed the mysterious particular qualms and quirks which occasionally presented themselves between the 2 tablets, using the same stylus.
    Appreciated very much your advance prep to give us a running heads-up on each model's weight and length (inc Lamy length and weight sans cap), and to get all of the above so right (which would still rate as one of the best reviews out there), it's also a pleasure when a reviewer understand that for some viewers secondary features like Will it roll away if on a slight slope? - or - Does it sort-of adhere magnetically to tablet's leading edge? - and - If magnetised, how sturdy is the bond?
    As you mentioned on several occasions, despite each stylus's supplied nib differing sometimes extensively in 'pen on paper' texture and feel, as smooth, hard glass prefers a draggy nib and textured glass or a soft protector film will prefer a harder and smoother slippery one (stylus weight must have some affect on the equation as well) - ERGO the nib 'feel' will differ tremendously, these styli are ALL interchangeable with the nib from ANY other --- so thank you so much for spending bulk of review on each stylus's look, finger grip, balance and those passive and active features, as the KEY here is get the stylus that suits your taste, hand size, 'must-have' features and, if it's a deal-breaker; budget.
    Nib 'feel', size, colour, end-shape etc is IRRELEVANT - just listen for clues as to which stylus is best for what job VS that stylus's writing 'feel' for your tablet, and then have fun ordering this or that nib from Staedler, Samsung, HP, BOOX etc until you arrive at the sweet-spot that's best for the stylus, tablet, your grip, speed, pressure and feedback expectations - and you have arrived.
    Thanks again.
    - GALDR/URUZ/FYRFOS/ÆSIR (ENVOI\FUTHARK) = IT MEK : ) -

    I use Spen on my S7 galaxy tab.
    My favorite one is the Wacom one stylus, I also like the staetdler Stylus, unfortunately there is no side buttton, nor cap provided ti protect the nib. (neither on the one one stylus)
    The original S7 or S6 Spen are also good, only if you put a silicone housing on it, because these styluses are a bit too thin to my liking....
    I found the Lamy al star EMR stylus a bit too heavy and thick, and the side button is too hard to find...

      The Lamy. Because it's a "real" pen (metal, cap, clip,...). The One is really good too but with it's form factor, not sure you can greep the pen enough close to the nip as you like.

    • @onemoreink3654
      @onemoreink3654  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am not sure to understand. No need for those pens to put "pressure" on the surface : it starts writing once the nib is in contact with the pen. Some brushes manage the pressure (force) you can put on your pen in order to manage the thickness of the line but it is not an "activation".
