They could theoretically solve a hypothetical Prime problem… if they had a hypothetical degree in Theoretical physics!

Given the events shown in the fallout show, BoS has to take it. The prydwyn showing up in the show means the brotherhood “won” F4 given that the show is set 9 years later.
It could be they won or it was the minuteman ending where you don’t attack the BOS either way they’re still around
Not mentioning the institute is a bit of a slap in the face
Yeah they definitely can do whatever and the fact that they can only be reached VIA teleportation makes it 100x harder to stop them especially when they can keep beaming in synths are corsairs are supposed to be impossible to kill for normal people since lore wise they are cracked out in stats. I think 10 corsairs could infiltrate the brotherhood chapters and kill them all in a night.
Not mentioning the institute means only one thing. They've been replaced by a synth and not said the institute so people forget
@@ausinasmith96 I mean, liberty prime got to em. a bunker buster bomb probably could too. I guarantee the brotherhood got a couple of those lying around.
@@ausinasmith96 there’s 2 ways people can enter the institute. By just straight blasting through it or entering the water pipes that lead inside. Either way, it’s not that they can’t be reached it’s the fact that no one knew where it was. Not even you. You walk passed the C.I.T building multiple times in the game before even learning the institutes hiding under it.
The NCR is definitely the strongest government power, while in New Vegas, they are stretched thin (as a result of just being a campaign at the moment), they are definitely the strongest government on the West coast. The BOS is definitely the strongest weapon-wise though. After all, they descend from the military.
Agreed, would love to see the best iterations of both factions duke it out. Perhaps we will see something like that in the Fallout TV Series!

And they have better technology and superior training, they also have quite the numbers, not quite as much as the NCR but still significant for how well trained and equipped their standard troops are in comparison. Also their fleet of vertibirds which is seemingly endless matched with unrivaled strategists and a superb officer corp.

No matter how powerful the faction, one vault dweller or mail man will be able to take it down single handed in a few days
There’s no way that the brotherhood of steel can ever get any form of power base until they stop using vertibirds.
Isn't that the truth lol. For all the talk about air superiority from the BOS, they really do go down pretty easily!
And to remember the ncr does have a small number of aircraft and the boomers would have plenty of aircraft that could be repaired and with the amount of land it’s likely they have there are more aircraft to repair so an massive number of aircraft could be added to there arsenal and there large amounts of artillery could easily take down liberty prime and there flying ship

The institute. Synths are easily created, quite fast too. Maxon and Danse are great examples. Institute may not just replace, but make copies of the individuals. Despite BOS being the technerds, institute also evolves and has the ability to have as many eyes and hands on all kinds of stuff. Institute may also just outnumber anyone, should institute wish to.
Cat scans stop the infiltration plus the high ranking officials have a constant ncr ranger force with them if they could defeat an ncr ranger that are the best of the best oh they could sneak up on them wait listen to this they live in barracks and you have to have someone up at all times for security and fire watch if they could defeat them without waking up the other rangers well they win
Yea no they were already falling from the inside out at the stat of f4 Shawn was dieing with no clear successor and most of the gen 4 syniths were looking for a way out if they started mass producing syniths they whould be looking at a rebellion and then when shwan died a possible civil war
@@jackstewart2258 Not really. The institute was successful for decades before Shawn and would have eventually elected a leader. And the synths would have no way of rebelling due to their programing and the fact that the underground rail road is far to espionage based to handle any operations of large scale without the help of the Sole Survivors and would die before they would align themselves with the BOS. The Institute was set up to take over the Commonwealth in the coming years. Maxon would have been assassinated by Danse, without the interception of the Sole Survivor. Which would have likely resulted to a full retreat from the BoS.
@@jackstewart2258Quite the opposite: within the Institute you start hearing the people of the Institute express surprise at Dr Li not becoming Father’s successor, with Dr Holdren (bioscience) mentioned as another second option.
Also, if you start to organize the synth revolt within the Institute, but ultimately betray the RR, both the synths and Liam decide to abandon their plans, which should stop the flow of escaping synths. And before that, the coursers were starting to crackdown harder upon “malfunctioning” synths, as you can see in some scripted conversations around the Institute.
Imo the institute are too arrogant to be *that* powerful. They've got the same issue the enclave and west coast BOS have, they don't like outsiders. A genuine lack of manpower counts for a lot in the wasteland. That's how Caesars legion is such a contender to the NCR, they have more men than the NCR has bullets 😂
Probably the faction that gets help from the chosen one.
If the bos ending is the canon end to 4 and the minute men have been reformed, the Brotherhood's numbers would definetly swell to near army levels. So 4 BOS vs NCR would be a bloody bloody years spanning conflict but the Ncr would outnumber them at the end. But with the Bos being able to work with the ncr and make the truce in new vegas I don't think they'd engage in open warfare immedietly.
Right, they would leave the Commonwealth potentially as a ridiculously powerful faction. All hypotheticals though of course, they could just as easily lose most of their power there!
@@UraniumFever76 yeah the institute has just as much raw man power with their synths as the bos has soldiers at the time of 4. Now I wonder how an institute occupied Commonwealth would face the other powers in the wasteland.
@@UraniumFever76I think bos would have a way higher population, the east coast has far more people than the west, in fact, the 4th most populated state to the 12th are all very close to the east coast bos, and the 2nd and 3rd place states are kind of close but simply much easier to get to for the bos than the ncr as they don’t have to cross the Rocky Mountains, also taking Texas would likely be a east coast goal as their chapter there might still be alive, and if not they likely have valuable shit, edit, 15-20 are also very close to east coast bos, and then after that 22-26 are also very close, California is pretty much the only strong part of the ncr, they can’t expand anymore because they won’t gain the population from those areas to control said areas, bos will, granted bos needs time as for now they obviously have far less, probably 20000 at most, but give them like 30 years and I think they can definitely reach a million, and in 50 they can reach 2 million

If I remeber correctly the Enclave still exists in Chicago but dont know if they have full control of it or just have strongholds in it
So does the Midwest brotherhood of steel. But anything that happened in the previous game that happened in Chicago, fits into the category of Semi canon, until Bethesda confirms anything.
It's most likely gonna have to be a stronghold.
If we look back to Fallout 2 and 3, the Enclave are organized in a VERY small, but organized manner. Horrison just blew up one of their only main bases, and Autumn got his entire regiment killed by some discount Vault Dweller within months of his arrival.
I'd like to imagine that Bethesda makes it to where the Enclave still have one stronghold and two main holdouts, their main stronghold being in Chicago, with holdouts in Alaska and the Dakotas or Montana.
There could be Remnants throughout most of the wasteland, hopefully in Mexico or Canada.
@@Douchey_Elkmen i could see an enclave base in Canada there is no way they annexed the land and did nothing with it besides land transport for the resource war.
@@jefferyshaw3990no, it's noted in logs the Enclave bases in the United states were FOBs (forward operating bases) to scower America and report back. The bigger bases are in Canada and those bases hold all of the families and living situations.

Ncr didn’t age well
Brotherhood takes the cake for me, the guys in 4 have a prime, a giant airship and the sole survivor (me) who can literally charisma check deathclaws and synths into working for them XD
They mightn’t even be able to get close enough as it is lore that they have an Air Force and thousands of artillery pieces so it’s likely that they would get blown out of the sky before they could get close enough to do any damage and we all know that airship is very dangerous when it comes to explosives and fire one round goes though that thing nothing could stop it going down maybe they could get some people out by verti-birds but when they run out of fuel the first recon would pick them off before they could even know what happened liberty prime oh no big robot get the artillery to pin them down then the boomers fly over with a large amount of explosives and drop it high enough that liberty prime could deal with and you the courier could pin you down before seeing him he literally has been living in the wasteland his whole life
@@RangerDLK i mean, the ship isn't a combat vessel, it's a base, the vertibirds however are well armed, and able to carry squads of fully armed power armor knights and paladins yes the birds can be shot out of the sky but we know the armors can survive a crash based on the nigh intact model we find on the museums crashed vertibird, bit if we are comparing full might of the brother, and prime is probably the least of their enemies worries

Lore wise the BOS are beast
Game wise they can’t fly for shit
Strongest faction? My Minutemen, all armed with Fatmen.
Depending on how you wanna roleplay The Minutemen can be made into quite a formidable faction. I time they could even form an NCR type of government.
It wouldn’t be uncommon that the ncr and the minuteman would ether ally or form into the ncr as they are more of an government and the minuteman becoming a citizen defence force
Not really, the minutemen aren't really a faction, more like a group of towns. They don't have a real army or rank structure, just a weak militia. The "soldiers" don't even follow the generals orders.
If you back the Minutemen, it's nearly inevitable that they will allow the Commonwealth to become the East Coast's version of the NCR. It'd take time, but if you level them fully in game it's near inevitable. With the Minutemen evolving to become the Commonwealth's military.
@@Willothemask An army that doesn't even follow the generals orders?
NCR is ass. I'd hate to see the Minutemen bending over for brahmin barons
I have never seen that grab animation and honestly it's terrifying to think about
I'd say the Institute, because the NCR and BOS are extremely vulnerable to synth infiltration. Plus HOUSE is a CIT alumni, I could totally see a House/Institute alliance creating the chain of logistical support and technological advancement to conquer the world.
Their pretty much only strength is their biggest weakness though. Yes, they do have Synth technology, capable of infiltration, but everyone in the area already knows about it and are paranoid. So, by extension, no other faction would be willing to work with them, and with no real base of operations on the surface, their tactics have to be hit and run at best
A cat scan too the head would give away the synths and the high amounts of security of the president and the fact the rangers are so powerful in lore there would be no chance of high ranking officials getting replaced is almost impossible
@@RangerDLK also it's shown that The Institute doesn't really have very much control of the Synths to begin with, since they can pretty much just walk away, and the only instance we've seen a synth being in a serious faction (the Brotherhood Of Steel) there was no indication that he had ever been in connection with The Institute since he was first put out.
House would absolutely hate the institute, I don’t think he likes dumping mutants into the wastes, he strikes me as xenophobic type, he also would probably think institute would double cross him and would think bos could never access his antechamber, I think he would probably like the east coast bos more than the west because at least the east coast takes in wastelanders and sort of helps them even in 4

The institute can use birds to locate their enemies and teleport an army of synths or super mutants right on top of them. No oil rig is safe.

No. The reason why the NCR Is so weak at F:NV Is because the war Is not that popular back in California. They are also bureocrats. But, if you angered the Bear, they would definitely respond with everything they have. Considering they have over 700,000 citizens, they definitely have a HUGE army
@@M4teo. and when will this bear be angered exactly? Can’t equip troops, can’t repair Helios and Dam, can’t protect the roads for resupply, can’t even keep the prisoners in line. The US has 400,000,000 people, and it has only half a million active personnel. Do you think that ncr citizens will be ready and willing for harsh conscription to match the manpower legion can muster? Not to mention that legion holds more land and more people under control. No, even if the NCR musters the willpower to actually prosecute the war with the Legion seriously it would be so immensely costly, that it’s hard to definitively say who will win. You really think the barons will sacrifice their bottom line for the democracy, instead of cutting a deal with Caesar?
Well if they were fighting defensively on their home turf with better infrastructure and greater morale it might be a very different story.
If you talk with the veteran ranger at camp golf (forgot his name?) He will tell you the mojave campaign is not popular and only has small investment, with many military resources went to Baja campaign instead. Most of the troopers in mojave are also just recruits with very little training, many of the named ncr characters will confirm this in the game, and also their standard uniform has DT of zero. This is why they are struggling with the legion, legionnaires are trained since childhood and have better armors, also every hunter group they sent after me always has 12.7mm caliber weapons and ripper.
The Enclave has/had Frank Horrigan which was the only enemy you couldn’t bullshit your way out of which makes then the winners in my personal opinion.
Given the new lore from the show, the Brotherhood of steel are now the strongest faction hands down. The Brotherhood are confirmed to have at least survived fallout 4, meaning they have liberty prime at the very least. Plus they are linking up with the west coast in the show. On top of that, the NCR is gone, meaning their biggest challenge no longer can stop them.
ACKTUALLY its not implied they left boston, the prydwyn wasnt their only zeppelin they were capable of building more along with the t-60's, they did not send the entire brotherhood to boston either, then theres tha fact that end of season 1, why did they not send in their deus ex machina liberty prime considering the tech involved? surely that would have been really damn critical to take down.
then theres the tech implied at the end, the only faction we knew working on such tech was the institute, which means either;
A : the insitute did not get wiped out
or B : they retconned the brotherhood NUKING it.
my money is on the institute and minutemen winning that war (there the only 2 factions you can make willingly ally during the game via wally)

The start with liberty prime got me laughing so hard 😂
The thing about the enclave it’s so well hidden you don’t know, and they only show themselves when they want you to see them and not before and then fallout 76. There’s not much of a enclave presence but there’s a whole facility that makes it very easy to access, nukes that’s run by robots, and a robot manufacturing underground in a vault

I have literally never seen liberty prime grab and just chuck a behemoth and I love it
(You take a sip from your trusty Vault 13 canteen...)
Imo it depends. Considering the brotherhood victory as canon(honestly it makes most sense) if they chose to build up their forces over the years, they might have a good shot. They have air and troop superiority, while the NCR has numbers on it's side and an adaptable army under a good leader. The BOS could win if they play on the fact the NCR is over extended, and cannot move their army in large numbers fast, while the BOS can. So it also depends on the type of war being fought.
The fuckin institute bro, without player choice the sweep
I believe it’s the deathclaw faction keeping you from going into the strip.
No strength can stop a silent freak, (except fo4, we don't talk about that), from destroying any faction they want.
"what's the strongest faction?"
the one that has some guy in a vault suit supporting them
Midwest BOS would be a possible contender depending on how much of tactics happened. As is the only canon about them is they exist and had some minor skirmishes with the legion but they can end tactics pretty well set up if you go good Karma and merge with the calculator
The shadowy hand of the Institue is far beyond the scope of any of the factions we know of and have dealt with. So in a way they are sorta disqualified. You being the leader and the fact that you cant even get there without being beamed in would make it hard to even do any sort of damage to them.
The show's made it canon that the NCR has fallen so they're by no means the strongest now.......
Midwest BOS with Vault 0 :
-an army of robot
- a coalition of ghouls, humans and super mutants which can lead to an NCR-type of conscription
-an access to the most advance pre-war techs plus the data of every other vaults
- the minimum of what we can espect as a BOS chapter (advanced power armor and maybe the rest of their fleet)
I would give it over to the children of Atom, those crazy sons of bitches are completely immune to the effects of radiation and have the capacity to tame ghouls even glowing ones. Their bases also happen to be in the most secure places most of the time, nuclear silos, sewers, craters from the war. Etc.
I had no Idea Liberty Prime could grab behemoths!!
I would love for in the next fallout the east coast does go west to “help” the brotherhood out there. But due to time and changes in ideology you end up with a civil war of sorts. And it’s up to your character to decide who comes out on top, the east coast brotherhood protects people and help support the waste land while the west are stuck in the original “protect humans by hoarding technology” and both accuse the others of straying from the path.
Do you make the brotherhood go back to there isolationist ways or bring the brotherhood to the front of the wasteland as protectors and Allie’s to the people.
But set in the west. As most games have been east coast recently.
The NCR (without direct and anti-NCR courier intervention) would eventually find out HeliosOne was in fact a super weapon, I have no doubt if such an interaction between the BoS East Chapter somehow reached the Mojave with Liberty Prime, they’d use it
Given that the NCR soldiers talk about having an extra bullet saved for themselves in case the Legion breaks through the defences, they surely can't be that strong.
New Vegas introduced such a cool faction, and did it dirty with zero content. Read up on how the centurions acquire their armor, read up on how many frumentarii the legion employs. It’s a terrifying force, and people underestimate them to an insane degree.
The clear answer is whichever faction the player picks.
This is what the plot of the Fallout show's conflict should be
The minutemen, with all the settlements Preston Garvey manifests into reality the manpower is literally infinite
It depends on the courier allegiance. The courier ends owning big Mt. Enough firepower and also the nukes silo if the courier didn't use them. (I don't remember that the pc disables it, just don't fire them at NCR & legion).
So if the courier is against the idea of the Eastern BOS entering the area. They can be stopped
Also not to mention if the NCR courier managed to befriend yhe think tanks from Big M.T, that could be another leveage the NCR can theoritically use against the BoS or heck even an overwanked institute
Could you imagine liberty prime walking through a Caesars land? Those tribals would think it was a real god and dump Caesar off the nearest cliff. Lol
Oh wow, a giant robot. Good luck actually engaging with the legion, when your main weapon is moving at a walking speed and is seen from ten miles away. What’s liberty prime going to do, stand at a street corner and enforce the brotherhood’s occupation?
I swear to god, people fall for the “GIANT ___” every goddamn time, when in reality every case of “GIANT ___” crashed and burned.
We had giant cannons (Paris gun, Gustav gun)
Giant tanks (Maus)
Giant ships (Bismarck, Yamato)
Giant bombs (Tzar Bomba)
All failures, decorations at best, causes for lost wars at worst.
@@max7971 Most of Caesar’s legion use makeshift machetes and spears. If liberty prime can demolish soldiers in power armor and energy weapons (see the enclave and the institute) then those legion boys and tribals don’t stand a chance. ❤️
The minutemen
The Enclave because they literally admitted that the protagonist of fallout two only beat the Enclave because of plot armor
The mob in the beginning 😂💀
I'm redoing Fallout 4 RN and I'm going for Brotherhood for first time. I did Institute and Railroad previously.
The zetans have been around for a long time to the point we can meet a samurai and have the capability of entering and exiting earth orbit. We also know they have advance technology and how they have massive ships with death rays on them.
I feel like Ceasars legions would be one of the strongest factions in fallout or the master army
Masters army would be terrifying, that’s true. Honestly, the sight of a super mutant master charging at you at full speed with gigantic piece of rebar in its hands would put any soldier in a state of panic. And the fact that if you are unlucky to survive-your body would be dragged to FEV pits to fill the ranks makes it even worse.
On the other hand the legion centurions use an armor made from pieces of other elite forces armors, including super mutant master chest plate and BOS paladin shoulderpad. The fact that in order to be promoted to centurion the soldier has to take on and defeat all of those elite enemies in melee-really puts them into perspective.
The only problem with prime, you have to walk him all the way there to reinforce the front lines of any other chapter. You have to deal with the logistics of keeping him fueled and the problem of access to the sentinel site nukes to arm his "artillery"
I mean, it might be worth mentioning Archmedies II "IF" the NCR ever got it functioning. They could have that at there disposal.
The BoS has constant leadership issues though. It’s a feature in every game as far as I can remember (can’t remember 1, 2, and tactics BoS very well).
Combined with the issues of underling soldiers not able to question orders (a good and bad thing). I think they wouldn’t achieve their goals well. Even with some of the best tech.
Would love to see this in the TV show in a later season
That ncr taking player choice bit sent me lol
The Master’s Faction. RIP Master…. 😢
Whoever has the support of the person with an alien spaceship
Mr. House with Vegas at his back.
