Very surprising to see this how-to, not much professional DIY info on Beat products...well Sachs. But primarily on Betas. As a Beta (200rr) owner I appreciate it!
Great video and thanks for the tips. My BMW R1200RS has Sachs forks with ESA and understand that you can change the oil seals without removing the oil by releasing the axle holder and then removing and replacing the seal and cover.

Yeah, suspension clean isn't harsh on o-rings and it cleans the oil off better. Try it back to back and see for yourself. I definitely recommend it, but if you use brake cleaner or something else, just avoid anything rubber. -Charles

is there anything special about suspension clean? I would usually use brake cleaner as i have plenty to hand.
I see my suspension guy with box’s of brake cleaner when I go to his shop, so I say just use brake cleaner.

What’s size is that 10 point fork cap removal tool?
I use channel locks. As long as someone hasn't over tightened they work fine.
What does that drilling mod accomplish?
It just prevents the plastic from cracking, it's not going to change performance. -Charles
