  • I’ve been returning to vintage style over the course of the year and have decided to set a new goal - to sew most of my own clothes!
I also want to thank ‪@HannahLouisePoston‬ and ‪@Christinamychas‬ for all their profound content about overconsumption, overspending, and building healthy relationships to money, Beauty, and oneself. Their work continues to help me through my own journey.

Just discovered your channel, I am intrigued by exploring the 30's as an alternative to fast fashion. I could be your mom, made my own clothes in the 70's and 80's and have decided since turning 65 the the world has enough quilts. Looking forward to your content. ♡

I have made most of my clothes for a number of years. I think a handmade wardrobe is very rewarding and you get to learn new skills as you go. I am now working on a 1930's wardrobe. I have an album in my phone with sewing ideas and another with knitting ideas.

What an inspiring video! I am also working on planning a me-made wardrobe, with a heavy influence from the 30's, so this is really speaking to me right now. What a good idea, pairing the pictures with the fabric! I shall have to try that as I put together a sewing planner.
    Wonderful video, as always.

I love vintage clothing and have been slowly started to sew my own clothes. Designing a wardrobe is so difficult, so this is really helpful and inspiring to watch!

I have grown interest in 1935 to 1939 period, but being a bit stouter, finding a silouet that looks good is a bit challenging, so I'm focusing finishing my quilt first. For a while now, I've need for a new blanket and the idea of buying one of those polyester ones ia driving me up the walls.

I'm sure you've seen Baby Face with Barbara Stanwyck, but her clothes in that are just.... amazing. The collars! And the other one I love for 30s is Fifth Avenue Girl - all the mom's clothes. They're much less frilly and more sculptural that the younger characters' clothes. So inspiring. Thanks for this!

Recently found your channel and was immediately drawn to it. I love vintage, but wasn't particularly fond of the 1930's, but you changed that for me! you have such impeccable taste. the patterns you picked are divine. looking forward to your next video!
