Thank you sir for the video! I understood how to use the equipment by watching your vid. I bought my tool today and paid what you paid for yours. It works great! God bless you🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@dbproductreviews6319 Looks fancy, but I only get leaves in one corner of my flower bed. It works great for that, but you are right, I would not use this for an entire yard.
For those dealing with operator fatigue, I just hooked a gun strap to the handle and threw that over my other shoulder. I barely have to hold the vacuum now. Other than needing the power cord this thing is awesome!
I bought that *exact* model 5+ years ago,and from your demo,it hasn't changed! I was hugely disappointed in it,as it is a royal pain in the ass to lug around for any appreciable time, especially for a senior. I bought it mainly for cleaning leaves out of my window wells, and that is about it. I found that long rigid tube a pain to maneuver around in my window wells, and I often just use my Greenworks battery leaf blower to get leaves out of the window wells.
I'm a 68 year old woman and I have had mine for at least 5 years, probably longer. I have no issues using it. I use it strictly as a leaf vacuum. It works really well.
I bought one last year, paid about $75 via eBay as an "open box" item. Works pretty well, but is loud as heck and IS a pain to lug around the yard! I'm 66 and it kills my upper body. Used it recently AFTER raking to pick up the small leaves, pine cones, etc. I don't think it's a substitute for raking by any means.
@@cbyutube More power to you if you are happy with it. I bought it because the impeller is metal, which should take more abuse than the usual plastic impeller.
Thank you so much for mentioning that it can get awkward to use. Also appreciate the tip about the cord lock. I'm 72 and started using from watching my 85 year old neighbor lady using it to collect leaves from her front yard for her flower garden. This is my 2nd year of use to collect leaves from my front yard. I'm fairly fit, and everything starts out fine, but I feel a little something in my low back when using beyond 2 toro bags full. I was thinking I'm wearing it wrong, and decided to check the youtubes for tips. I am 5'10" tall and feel like I have to bend over a bit when using, maybe to look more so than anything else. I saw the comment about a gun strap but have no idea what that is so doesn't help me. Anyway, I do like it and am glad I'm not the only one who finds it a bit tiresome. I will space out my use to make it easy on my old azz.
In the market for an electric leaf blower sooner than not, my current is a heavy gas blower vac, but it’s too heavy and too much vibration. So I’m definitely considering a battery or electric new blower vac. It seems a lot lighter and easy to use for my backyard that has as lot of leaves, would you recommend it vs a gas blower?
I have a review of my battery E GO blower. I love it, pretty solid battery life even on the highest setting and lightweight. I personally want a gas backpack only because I have a slightly bigger property and tons of leaves! Depends on budget and what’s the most important to you and size of your lawn and other conditions like trees and how much you have to use it in one sitting. The Battery blower is certainly convenient!
Thanks so much for watching!! I realize I have a love hate thing going on with this. I feel like my yard is way too big and way too many leaves to even manage this vac. I thought about a burn barrel, but the allergens and toxins given off are terrible for my breathing. Mulching with the mower seems like the best bet to be honest! Or just paying someone to take care of the chaos haha.
Thanks for the review. The electric cord does hook around u-shape plastic and both cord goes thru slot. I guess it helps from unplugging when pulled on.
An issue I am experiencing currently is the off/on button. At times, it will not turn on at all. At times, it will waffle between off and on. Not sure what is happening but there are TH-cam videos dealing with the repair.
@@charmaneblack8892 of course, any outdoor rated extension cord should do! I know they can get pricy. Mine are older, not the best, that’s definitely something I need an upgrade on. I’ve actually started finding more success with a lawn sweeper. I recently posted a video on that, be sure to check it out!

Glad this video helped you! Thanks for watching, Vanessa!
Thanks! Now I know how to use the vacuum after many, many years of only using the blower.
Thanks for watching! Glad you found this helpful.
That’s a good one @ 3:27. Good to know not that much sucks about it. Thanks for the video.
Yeah it's not that bad, just awkward and slightly uncomfortable to hold and maneuver, but it works!
Thank you. Toro website gives diagrams and I can't learn like that. Thanks for keeping it brief 👍🏼
@@anncarlson1396 Thanks for watching, glad you found this video helpful. The diagrams on many tools are absolutely useless, I agree.
Thanks bro! Just found this thing in my garage for the first time. Works like a charm for leaves!

@@ClockWork303 Very innovative! I hate this thing lol. Maybe I just have too big of a yard and it’s so tedious and redundant.

@@captainamerica9353 No,these things are for spot jobs, like in flower beds and window wells.
I also have it. I blow leaves into pile against fence then suck them up. I dont save time. But you aren't dragging that blower all over yard

How do you take off the bag attachment?? It’s super hard! Thanks
You did not demo the blower portion only the vacuum portion, curious how powerful the blower is, and is it as powerful as a blower only model.
Slow down and keep the tool points in front of you .. I have the strap adjusted to support most of the weight…just used it for two hours today…love it

Thanks for the review. The electric cord does hook around u-shape plastic and both cord goes thru slot. I guess it helps from unplugging when pulled on.
Definitely. This cord gets in the way all the time, so it's nice to have some level of secure fastening to prevent constant disconnect.
