In which, the menu window of the game is not apart of the plot, and more over, it is not Sarah's window either. So it qualifies. Her shirt is debatable, but I don't see how the scenes would feel or be different if she wore a different shirt.

every time i see the starting screen for the game, all i can think of is early mornings when my brother would leave his ps4 on the last of us starting screen while he went to get food from the kitchen, or use the bathroom, or whatever he was doing, and i'd sit there and watch the curtains move and just think it was so peaceful. my brother passed away two years ago and i can confidently say he would have loved the show and the adaptations.

I'm a fan of the last of us for so long and this looks incredible but you know what i get why Uncharted got done with tom Holland as a younger Nate drake this is incredible but it's a live action remake of the game exactly similar this offers nothing new i see other episodes and enjoy the hell out of them but i know how it all ends
Uncharted film used the same story beats from the 4th game, from the double cross keys to the hidden pirate treasure, to the backstabbing mercenary, wealthy heir to the treasure villain, to the traitorous companion abandoned in the 3rd act. It even ends on Nate losing the treasure like he does every time. The only reason it's a younger Nathan, is to have an excuse to cast Tom Holland. But I agree, faithful adaptations in my opinion, can only ever be as good as the source material or worse. But since TLoU show is great, maybe this will be the vehicle HBO and Naughty Dog uses for more stories in this universe outside the games. Who knows.
