Everyone is ''inconsistent''. No one can be good everytime. The video only tells you that you could be more consistent but that does not mean you can play good all the time. So you can't really fix inconsistency.
actually i can. But im just gn1 😂 i just want to have fun and not to go on full tryhard mode. i could get better in game but i want to keep it fun to play with my friends
"The only way to get true consistency is to play in a consistent environment." This information has opened up my eyes to my bad mentality while playing competitive games in general. The mentality that thinks that critiques all my mistakes. We all make mistakes, and get caught off guard by weird strategies. But if you didn't know that was going to happen, you simply couldn't prevent it from happening. All you can affect is what you do in the future to avoid that situation. So getting salty about how you shouldn't have done X is a waste of mental energy which should be spent imagining counterplay or focusing on the present.
This is a good way of taking on life's problems and mistakes. Many people stool over a mistake they made or beat themselves down thinking they should have done something different. You can't change the past; what's done is done, so look forward and take on the next problem that presents itself.
Ohh boy....how many mice I tried for my perfect shape....after seeing geat improvement with FK2, I decided to try Model O...about a week was needed to regain consistency. Then I wanted wireless....GPW for a week....still bad aim...got the Viper Ultimate, good aim (FK2/MO level) within a day. Mouse shape is very personal.
i find nova players are players who were lucky enough to get out of silver. in reality the nova, silver, dmg, etc. is just a status; a title. it doesn’t really mean anything
Something that helped my inconsistency was accepting that you can't always have control of your situation. You would want ideal situation that guarantees a win but you might get a Smurf on the other team or you might get griefers. The best thing you can do is to work with cards you got and play your best. If you lose then you at least know you tried your best.
1. Sleep enough (probably most important) 2. Drink enough water (Don't drink your calories) 3. Meditate everyday (Helps you calm down, less rage. Seriously.) 4. Don't overthink everything, you don't need to look at certain things like sensitivity or crosshairs to make an excuse for bad performance. You will have bad games, no exceptions. Everyone does, so stop making excuses and just grind through it.
While I'm not even ranked (500h of DM) I did notice in the first 50hrs that matchmaking is a good anger training: raging is a chain reaction. In DM at least, you have to "recover" your focus fast and start thinking what else you could change when "I barely saw him and he headshot me" over and over. Unfortunately in classic matches you(/teammates) have a lot of time to think or shout until you(/team) get control again.
I've worked out my consistency in terms of the overall match to being calm or letting the adrenaline take over. If I am calm, I check corners, aim carefully and plan appropriately. If I am full of adrenaline I will be jumpy, spinning around and spraying eradically towards an enemy, miss grenades and flick to people and promptly past them by about half my screen.
I wish I heard advice like this a long time ago. Really, I wish I had just gotten bored of CS. I've played since 2015. I only really got into it in 2016. I have something like 4k hours and my highest rank is only GNM. I don't even have a rank in any third-party things like ESEA or FaceIt. I was on a team at one point and was consistently bottom-fragging. Literally almost every single game I was last or second to last, whether it was on FaceIt, a retake server or fucking Silver MM. Most games don't make me mad at all, even rage games, but I have broken shit over CS. I got so obsessed with how awesome and satisfying the game can be that I just screwed myself. I feel that I'm so deep in my own mistakes with this game that I can't fix it anymore, or that fixing it wouldn't be worth the time. Another few thousand hours just to be on par with the average 2000 hour player? Fuck that. What makes CS worse for me is that I am horrible at coordination and my hands tremor too much for precise movements. My crosshair is constantly jittering and I can't replicate any specific movements. A lot of it is just luck. I'm also not able to think fast enough without it being jumbled nonsense. There's way too much for me to focus on. It becomes too stressful of an environment for me to think clearly. I end up just feeling pretty sad after most games tbh. So, I've just given up on CS. I hate to quit with CS because it's so fuckin great when I hit a nutty frag. But I have barely ever done that against anyone that isn't a really low tier player. I'm not bored of CS or anything, I just don't want to waste even more time on something I will never get good at.
and as you get better things like your diet and sleep schedule start to come into play too. If you're running on 4 hours of sleep you're not gonna be as sharp as you would with a nice 9 hours. Also stress is bad and gotta remember to stay hydrated.
I was really angry previously as a cs player and was stuck at a skill level, but now that I took a break for 3 months and came back calm in other games, I drastically improved. One of the most accurate tips for consistency so far
One big for me being so inconsistent is the fact that I'm in a low rank playing against players with little to no awareness of their surroundings and just rushing in from nowhere and getting lucky headshots on me. I also have a big issue where I get killed by the same game almost every single round. Usually they get lucky sprays or I JUST missed them while re-peeking on a spot. I usually get killed by the top player or the worst and dumbest player of their team. And I never get to surprise them, yet the always get the drop on me, which makes me not very happy, resulting in me raging (not flaming teammates though). Although, the biggest reason for me being so inconsistent is me having very bad early game, but very good late game. Therefore making me more prone to start raging early and impacting my performance. But if I have a good start, I usually just mow down the enemy team with confident plays.
I think the dont rage is the most important. I cant think of a game in which my team came back to turn it around when people were raging. It stops people communicating and in most cases thats a sure loss.
Im inconsistent when i dont continue to apply what i learn from other games, like being lazy and not checking corners for campers, its not applying the standards/expectations you have learned. Realizing this helped me alot be consistant in applying your learnings
Not only that. Emotions in general are an enemy to everyone at cs. Even the good ones. If your emotions are controlling you even happines can make you do a very stupid play. This is why you should control your emotions and play with your mind.
I'm faceit lvl 4, and if we lose the first round atleast one of these is gonna happen - my teammate leaves - my teammates start shouting and being toxic - someone starts trolling
If you manage to stay calm and focused even when ur getting run over thats by far the biggest advantage imo, for example I had a game yesterday ( eu faceit lvl10 ) were a russian kid left after second round bc apparently it was gg. Well as it turned out it wasnt, we had a terrible start and were down 0:6 but thanks to just keeping a positive mindset etc we managed to comeback and win the game 16:13 playing 4vs5 on inferno for 27 out of 29 rounds.
Ive never thought i was inconsistent. Ive played FPS games for so long that aim, movement, and the general thought process i approach to fighting my opponents has become very consistent with my "play style". I usually tell all my friends that if they want to get good at FPS games, to play CS, and that is because this game will make your small habits a GLARING issue. You get punished for every small mistake somewhere down the line unlike more laid back FPS games that are less competitive and rely less on team coordination. I think the main thing that propelled my in csgo is finally getting out of silver, and spending more time on face it, and higher ranked mm, and also ALWAYS queuing up with at least 2 other players who were at or above my level. This was where "consistency" shifted from "man my team is bad" to "dang this is where i have to improve". Silver is an awful place to be for anyone who is very good, but not great. They are usually better than everyone on their team but they cant simply 1v5 every single game. This is where playing with the same people over and over again help. So the moral of the story is: get people to play with, develop strats, ideas, etc and get out of silver together.
I quit csgo back in 2016 it was at the time when the ranked system was broken I sht you not me and few of my friends won 16 games in a row and I didnt move up a single tier I quit after that I may come back to cs eventually though I was silver 2
When i play in my mge rank, i usually get something around 15-20 frags, when i play with my lem friends, i always have 20+ frags EASILY. mm ranks dont matter and there is hardly any difference in skill. Noone will change my mind
Well there is a difference but there are so many factors counting in a game. I wouldn't bother playing mm with their shit servers unless you're a solo player then you would most likely struggle on climbing into lvl 10 or purple.
@@Xim3Pro 1v1 has nothing to do with a regular competitive 5v5 game. In 1v1 you only focus on raw aiming skills. Getting rekt? Try this: Turn off all sounds in CS for 1 or 2 rounds. Your brain goes into deathmatch mode and you start getting kills again. Works for me. Only try in MM if you don't want to be kicked.
2:41.... I SO WISH IT WAS TRUE, I'm at around MG2 and I play a lot, and I swear 70-80% of the games I play is against a 5 stack where is my team is either 5 randoms or 2x2 pre-mades at max
The issue with the rager thing I'm 50/50 if my teammates seem like they are trying to win I will be friendly but in a lot of cases my teammates have less then 200 hours and in that time never tried to learn, don't have mics or are Russian and they lose pistol round and instantly start throwing the game. It's insanely hard to stay calm when you consistently get the worst teammates available in CS on Faceit Premium.
I try to be consistent as much as I can (and I can pull off an average of 20+ kills per game) but MM is so difficult. People do the weirdest things and it catches me off guard a lot of the time, because who can expect them to just push like idiots and somehow ferrari peek you and kill you
i often get a problem with my mouse in csgo. when i move my crosshair to the left as im moving to the right (holding w and d) it stutters so bad like it isnt responding well same thing applies to the opposite side (crosshair to the right, movement to the left) my fps stays the same 120-140, my ping is good 50 ms, and no loss or choke.
@@orekusic3584 my aim feels like im sliding my mouse on ice its gets slow, then fast, and slow again, i use cheap optical gaming mice which works pretty well in other games
i think I'm consistent now since i know how to check corners properly and which corner to check first and btw is 15-20+ frags a game good or bad? (I'm gn2 btw)
no one talks about this, they way you sit and have your arm/hand placed on your mouse is overlooked and affect your gameplay alot. Always set your chair the same way to get the same arm position, otherwise it's like you're changing sense all the time.
The real reason is this: people have a couple games where they play some shit opponents, or they're just feeling super good and hitting all their shots, and when their performance goes back to normal, they think they're just inconsistent. In their mind, they discard 99% of their average to bad games, and remember their skill by their best games. Then, when they play like they normally do, they say they're inconsistent when really they just aren't as good as they think
But sometimes i die because i checked that corner which has nobody there and got shot from the side. Its like “you die because you did the right thing”
that's why you have re-fraggers going in right after the entry-fragger. If you're solo attacking a site you should most of the time do a hard clear but if you're hitting the bomb site with refraggers the entryfragger should generally just try to push in deep while your teammates clear the nearest angles. He didn't really mention that and it's not a missplay skipping angles as he stated.
What if you direct your anger back into your game and use the energy to push yourself to perform better? Men naturally have anger and letting it subside all the time and staying calm is just going to make it build up inside.
Nowadays, I’m not doing warmups when playing with teammates which makes me really inconsistent in the first match at least. When I used to solo queue, I used to warmup and practice like an hour at least before going into a game.
I am only inconsistent because of 100 ping that raise the interpolation level that I have no control over it, varies the input lag and my VA 144Hz monitor that is not good if someone is peaking on me smearing my target that has a small details in far distance to catch his smeared and ghosted little moving pixels. That's all otherwise I am very good including my strategies, very fast and smart adaption to new games and my tight aim. Thx for technology to mess it up for me.
i would maybe call myself a rager sometimes but always when i get really irritated on my team or the other team i just pick up the awp and almost evertime i get an ace and we do a comeback after that and win the game i dont know why but thats just how it is
In my case I am a really good awper like a really good one and I am not kidding. But I have a small problem sometimes for a small period of time I just can’t hit a shot and my mentality ends up being bad because I think that I am not as good as I was like 1 day before. Is there a solution for this because in this period I am not really good mentally and I started missing a lot of shots because I had 1 bad game ?
Bruh when I leave the game for like 2 months I come back high mg and over a few weeks I drop to literally bottom silver people say it’s my head thinking this but I am literally consistent in doing this actually aids lol

when i move my crosshair to the left as im moving to the right (holding w and d)
it stutters so bad like it isnt responding well
same thing applies to the opposite side (crosshair to the right, movement to the left)
my fps stays the same 120-140, my ping is good 50 ms, and no loss or choke.
Check vsync
@@orekusic3584 i've tried turning it on and off
also tried double and tripple buffering
but problem stays the same
@@AbDeRRaHiMXIs it your crosshair stuttering or your screen? What's the model of your mouse?
@@orekusic3584 my aim feels like im sliding my mouse on ice
its gets slow, then fast, and slow again,
i use cheap optical gaming mice which works pretty well in other games
AbDeRRaHiMX- is mouse acceleration on in game or in windows? In windows it’s called enhanced pointer precision so if it’s on turn it off
She said im inconsistent, im inconsistent🎵
bro predicted talk tuah
i think I'm consistent now since i know how to check corners properly and which corner to check first and btw is 15-20+ frags a game good or bad? (I'm gn2 btw)
what a smart prespective on that ! keep up the good work voo
I read this as "the real reason you're innocent "
I was waiting for this video so long. Thanks voo
The main reason is I can't find a consistant way to hold my mouse lol , everyday play with difference grip style
no one talks about this, they way you sit and have your arm/hand placed on your mouse is overlooked and affect your gameplay alot. Always set your chair the same way to get the same arm position, otherwise it's like you're changing sense all the time.
That's what I'm talking about buddy
actually life changing video! Thanks so much Voo
"...your opponents are not monkeys" ROFL
"woosah" lol
But sometimes i die because i checked that corner which has nobody there and got shot from the side.
Its like “you die because you did the right thing”
that's why you have re-fraggers going in right after the entry-fragger. If you're solo attacking a site you should most of the time do a hard clear but if you're hitting the bomb site with refraggers the entryfragger should generally just try to push in deep while your teammates clear the nearest angles. He didn't really mention that and it's not a missplay skipping angles as he stated.
Wow I literally just applied this to my workload
Please anyone know what FOV and x y z positions he uses? I really like how it looks
What if you direct your anger back into your game and use the energy to push yourself to perform better? Men naturally have anger and letting it subside all the time and staying calm is just going to make it build up inside.
i'd say you can use it to motivate you to improve but when you bring it into game it clouds your judgement
Really smooth fps in your vid. pleasure to watch :)
Nowadays, I’m not doing warmups when playing with teammates which makes me really inconsistent in the first match at least. When I used to solo queue, I used to warmup and practice like an hour at least before going into a game.
1 hour warmup before you play is not warmup, that's practice
Do not play when tired.
Play on empty stomach.
Cold showers.
what ive learnt: if you expect your opponents to be stupid, they'll outplay you. if you expect their strats to make sense, they will make 0 sense.
This guy really made a video saying "git gud lul"
quick answer: it all boils down to practice and warming up
I have never rubbed my earlobes until I watched this video. I'm still not sure how I feel about the sensation.
the problem is my enemy is also watching the video
i came here doubting my own skills after matching up against a team of smurf smfc's. You always know how to fix me :')
wtf I needed this so match
Same when you win like ur first 6 rounds in a row and you get overconfident and you lose game cuz of that
The real reason is because it’s exam season and I have no time to play x)
for me is the opposite lol i dont get angry but i keep on laughing and trolling so we lose the match.
client/server hitreg deviation?
nah that cant be it
game is so perfect
Huh, just today I said to myself, why am I so inconsistent, and lo and behold this pops in my recommendations
cure rage with dank hash weed
inconsistent teammates = inconsistent win rate
I am only inconsistent because of 100 ping that raise the interpolation level that I have no control over it, varies the input lag and my VA 144Hz monitor that is not good if someone is peaking on me smearing my target that has a small details in far distance to catch his smeared and ghosted little moving pixels. That's all otherwise I am very good including my strategies, very fast and smart adaption to new games and my tight aim. Thx for technology to mess it up for me.
i would maybe call myself a rager sometimes but always when i get really irritated on my team or the other team i just pick up the awp and almost evertime i get an ace and we do a comeback after that and win the game i dont know why but thats just how it is
i feel attacked
In my case I am a really good awper like a really good one and I am not kidding. But I have a small problem sometimes for a small period of time I just can’t hit a shot and my mentality ends up being bad because I think that I am not as good as I was like 1 day before. Is there a solution for this because in this period I am not really good mentally and I started missing a lot of shots because I had 1 bad game ?
my god ur videos are so good!!! thank u
If you think about it, if youre better, inconsistency wont cause you to be as bad, because the "lower level" will be better too
If I am incosistent I get constipated
I just have inconsistent on the aim.. on a good day i hit every shot vv
What's your res?
I love how i got kicked from my match because my team mates thought i was cheating, then got kicked from my match because they thought i was trolling.
Bruh when I leave the game for like 2 months I come back high mg and over a few weeks I drop to literally bottom silver people say it’s my head thinking this but I am literally consistent in doing this actually aids lol
