Ah, Sousa. The Washington Post is such a joy to play, and this is an AMAZING recording. The US Military Bands all do such a great job. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
I can't believe they are following the Sousa tradition that the US President's own follows when performing this Sousa march. I will say I prefer the band using three euphoniums.
The one time when both Navy and Marine Corps versions are actually at the same tempo; unlike the Army and Air Force performances that seem to be a tad slower.
Im shocked comments are allowed. The navy band would be furious to be shown as friendly in any way with the washington post. This is really funny wp boy are they gonna be pissed.
When I hear these marches I feel so patriotic, especially now when patriot is a dirty word, how sad.
