- Took my old Falcon Fn19 out for a days shooting , early start then an evenings walk , lovely old rifles and very popular in their time , being .25 cal i picked H&N pellets being only 19.9 grns , very lucky as the gun liked them also, well enjoy.....
Hunting Footage .....You Have been Warned...
A masterclass in shot placement, thoroughly enjoyed the video Dave. ATB... Billy.
Thanks Billy , save running after the little shytes , too old for that , easy just to pick em up.....atb Dave

Great vid as always m8, love the FN 19 cracking little rifle. Keep them coming Dave.
Much appreciated mate Thanks atb Dave
I use an old titan which is the earlier version of the fn19, superb gun! Still gets half inch groups at 50yards after 20odd years of use. Nice reliable Pcp.
They are great rifles , shame discontinued as many folks rate them highly atb Dave

Absolutely none to compare. Great shots with a great oldie gun (came out of Noah's Ark I'd guess) There's no one better at commentary, just an overall great entertaining channel. Many thanks for sharing Dave.
Hats off to you pal there's some epic shots in some or should I say all of your videos, if I can shoot my BSA ultra se .22 half as good as you I will be happy. I live in the US and our guns have more fpe. Pellet placement is still important regardless, but with your restrictions in the UK it is very important.
Hi Marc , thats the only thing about UK laws , no matter i still fill my freezer well atb Dave

What way do you cook your squirrel, I haven’t tried any yet. I have been asked to go sort out a few.
Any recipes or cooking tips for squirrels be good. Thanks A.T.B
Hi bud , ive cooking irons when out , just makes a fire , maybe wild garlic or mushrooms and just roast them , atb Dave
Good job Mr Dave 😉
Thank you Vidas , atb Dave
Quality as usual Mr Ratz
Dave what is you're most used shooting position?? Thx , great videos as always mate.
Hi mate , got to say freehand stance , ive never really been a sit and wait man , i get bored quick so i like to be on the move , hence why you only see a bi-pod on my rifles on the odd footage , thanks bud atb Dave
As always 👍
nice shooting dave
that .25 is a nice gun atvb jim
Thanks Jim , had to reshape the stock as somebody had shaped their hands deep into the wood , shoots spot on for its years atb mate Dave
Welcome back Dave. I have a theory why there is usually 5/6 months between videos. I think you have an Ocean going Boat which is crewed by an elite band of sea going women who sail you around world. Am I correct ?
I bloody wish mate , im to old now but the dreams still work , no bud just a few home illness but nothing drastic , back out soon bud , atvb Dave
Dave you eating squirrel ? 😮
Happy New Year Dave.
Thanks Duke , atb Dave
really enjoy your vids dave.i take it you eat the squirrels mate, never fancied it myself.good eating??
I’m not that confident I’d hit the tree at that distance I tend to 30-40 yards
H Brett If thats your comfort zone then fair play bud , i remember being a 25yrd max hunter but my skills have progressed since , thanks bud atb Dave
Hey Dave, any chance you might have in your extensive air rifle armory a manual magazine for a .22 Logan Solo / FX Typhoon ?
Hi Stuart . theres a chance i might have one in a box somewhere , remind me if i dont contact you over the weekend mate atb Dave
OK Cheers mate !!
Just a gentle reminder Dave !!!
Gone though a few boxes , found probe and shrouded barrel so im close bud , message any luck atb Dave
Just found you on TH-cam, brilliant. I have an old Falcon, bought it 17 years ago, second hand, immaculate, as it still is.
What pressure do you put in yours? Mines a 177, I have a Hawke Nite Eye illuminated scope on it(3-9x50) purchased at
the same time. The rifle is an 8shot, it has the plunger system to index the mag, then the cocking bolt is separate, but
only needs a short movement to activate. It is a fantastic tool for vermin control, but I must admit that I'm not the
marksman you are. I hope I'm not going to offend you by saying this, but I think we maybe in the same sort of age bracket.
As stated earlier, bought the rifle over 17 years ago, when I was fifty so do the maths as they say. Any information about
pressure you put in and method of filling would be great, using a logun pump is getting a bit strenuous these days.
All the best mate, look forward to many more of you exploit. Phil.
the one hes using is a 25 cal
are you still with us dave ?
"Beautiful shot!" You certainly know your rifle. .25 cal hits hard but is more loopy than the other smaller calibers but in your hands no quarry is safe. And some say .177 is the best for hunting. I do not agree. Great video.
Well done mr Dave. Like always,,,,very nice rifle too. How old is your rifle?
Thanks very much , around 30yrs old but still a favored rifle amongst us oldies...lol atb Dave
MrDAVERATZ waooo, 30 years old? Men and still making very nice shots. Wonderful rifle no doubt about it. Cheers mate from California.
Great shooting mate! That .25 don’t half hit them hard!! I’ve never shot with a .25 alway a .22, is there a lot more of a loop in its trajectory?
Nice vid that falcon isn't running at sub 12 😂
Whats that at 4.18?
WOW..what shooting ... cant really say anymore ...AWESOME
Cracking shooting mate
